Age of Adepts

Chapter 0959 - Unlucky Katie

"Well, you must all have been laughing at me before you came here! That's my answer..."

Katie the Knife apparently knew the three new witches, and topped it off with a haughty face.

There were three new wizards, one male and two female.

The first one was a male witch, dressed in purple robes, but had a snake head. When he spoke, he swallowed snake letters and hissed in a sharp voice that made it difficult for outsiders to understand what he was saying. The pair of strange green vertical pupils on the snake head flickered with a ghostly coldness that was intimidating.

He was indeed a giant snake sorcerer who had manifested his origin bloodline.

The other two women, one had white hair, her face piled with wrinkles and old age spots, was wearing a black witch robe, and was leaning on a dark wooden stick that was taller than her own, her back bent almost 90 degrees at the waist. But the other one is a lovely and delicate looking, wearing an unusually hot and hot, with a purple crystal inlaid in the middle of his forehead, and every move with a thick, unmistakable taste of charm.

While coughing violently, the three of them emerged from the thick smoke and dust pillar. Whatever they had looked like earlier, they were now blackened and covered in dust and carbon dust.

"Katie, you bastard, you've smeared my face..." the charming witch clearly took her beauty exceptionally seriously, and thus erupted with twice as much anger as her two companions.

And with her thunderous drink, the purple crystal on the beautiful witch's forehead overflowed with an invisible ripple, causing the other three present to lose their composure. In their eyes, every gesture, smile, and anger of this young witch was so shocking and heartbreaking.

If they could win her favor and have some wanton mercy with her, even if they were to die now, it would be worth it!

But such a mind cluster shake only lasted for 1 second before breaking free, and Knife Kathi snorted, her hands split, and two sharp, metal mana spikes popped up in her palm.

"Benija, you bitch, if you dare to cast your mental sorcery on me again, I'll kill you..."

The young witch known as Benija had a faint smile on her face, and the purple crystal on her forehead overflowed with layer after layer of fine and solid psychic energy barrier, protecting herself completely.

"Trying to kill me? Come on, let's see which one of us kills who!"

The other old woman smiled gloomily and moved to the side without moving, acting as if they were not helping each other.

The head serpent sorcerer stepped forward to block the way between Katie and the young witch, his body suddenly condensing with an eerily cold and tyrannical aura. His sorcerous energy, stirred by his origin bloodline, manifested above his head in the form of a terrifying giant snake eight meters long and covered in indigo scales.

"That's enough, all of you, put away your sorcery! Don't forget, we didn't come here for our own infighting, but to complete the mission delivered by that lord. Until the mission is complete, no one is allowed to strike out at one of our own..."

It had to be said that the Bloodline Sorcerer's strength was indeed incomparable to other spectrum sorcerers.

Not to mention, this hand anthropomorphic form alone allowed him to firmly suppress several of the present sorcerers with the terrifying strength of his giant snake form. From the energy scent emanating from his body, it could be seen that he was not far away even if he hadn't reached the peak of the 3rd stage.

As for the two witches, the old and ugly one called Gwynevere, was good at casting poison and had the strength of a 3rd rank intermediate. The young and beautiful one, called Benija, was good at spiritual sorcery and also had a 3rd rank intermediate strength.

With a team like them aggregated together, if they could really work together seamlessly, the battle power they could exert was simply unimaginable to outsiders!

But just like the nature of witches, every wizard was a selfish, cunning and cruel fellow. To ask them to give up all their preconceptions and fight alongside each other with all their might, that... was almost a delusion!

The three sorcerers were new to the Enwik Plane, and all of them were under terrifying bit suppression, so they were not in a hurry to take action, but gathered together to listen to Knife Kitty's account of her experiences over the past month or so and the basic situation of the target.

Originally, the three wizards were a bit skeptical about the description of the young fire witch, thinking that she must have exaggerated her opponent's strength unilaterally after she had accidentally suffered a heavy loss. However, when their eyes fell on the scorch marks that still remained on Katie's body, their eyes couldn't help but feel a little suspicious.

A little guy who had just promoted for no more than twenty or thirty years, and he was able to make such a mess out of Knife Gee Katie?

A Tier 3 Elemental Magic Weapon with great power...what was this? The new Steel Puppet from the Silver League?

A rank 3 Flame Tiger summoned from the Fire Elemental Plane...that was possible. After all, fire witches were quite well fed in the fire elemental plane, and it was conceivable that they could make a small base there and befriend some flame lords.

However, such flame summoning tended not to last too long, and they had come on this trip with some 'Banishment' scrolls that would be most useful in dealing with such otherworldly summoned creatures.

As for the old crone who made the poison, Gwynevere, she took a slight interest in the plague poison spirit, the fire witch's magical pet that Knife Katie had described. She had some suspicions that the plague poison spirit might be the primary form of some kind of powerful soul armor.

If... she was able to restrain the fire witch, without killing him first, and find a way to strip the plague poison spirit from his soul, she might then have a chance to study or experience the wonders of soul armor.

One had to know that soul armaments were extremely rare even for high ranked sorcerers. In particular, those soul armaments that were perfectly compatible with one's soul origin and elemental talent were even more rare.

Now suddenly hearing that there was a soul armament with a highly poisonous attribute at the target's side, Gwynevere's old and withered heart couldn't help but beat violently once again.

On the other hand, Benija, who was born with the 'innate charm', focused her attention on Katie's description of the young wizard's appearance. At the thought of her enemy being a young and handsome powerful male witch, Benicia felt her body hot and trembled slightly as she couldn't help but tremble.

She clamped her legs tightly between her legs and couldn't help but slightly fight with each other, her eyebrows shooting out hot spring-like feelings, looking like she couldn't wait to seduce and bait her opponent.

Don't look at this Benicia appearance of a slutty, lewd and surly appearance, but she is a typical black-hearted and ruthless poisonous widow. She likes to seduce and charm those male witches who have great strength, and then implant the malicious spirit seeds into the other party's sea of consciousness at the moment when the other party's mind is lost.

In this way, the other party's hard-earned spiritual power from meditating would be unknowingly redirected to Benija's body.

The mental energy that had been 'sucked' by Benicia could not be recovered again through meditation and sleep. This also meant that that unfortunate fellow's mental strength limit was permanently lowered by a portion.

After a brief introduction of the situation, Katy the Knife left the cave without hesitation.

The task of chasing down and killing the fire witch Grim was given to the three new witches, and Katie only had to deal with a 2nd rank witch, such an easy task that she was almost overjoyed. And deep down, Katie was also secretly sketching the scene after the meeting between the three companions and that Grim.

If these three idiots were as arrogant and unstoppable as they had been when they first arrived, I'm afraid they would have to suffer a violent loss as well. If...and I mean if, that bitch Benigia would be the most comfortable and comfortable thing for herself if she died on the battlefield....

As she thought about it, Katie followed the lord's instructions and dived towards the southwest of the Zambis Empire. Due to the interference of fate, the lord was unable to locate the actual location of the witch Lena, but there were still vague directions, which prevented Katie from running around the Zambis Empire in a haphazard manner.

The witch Lena wasn't very strong, but after all, she was a fraudulent witch, so if she wanted to hide, even if she was a level stronger than her, Katie wouldn't be able to pick her out from the sea of people.

But now with that lord's intermittent instructions, it wasn't really hard to find the other party!

So, Katie's heart was completely relaxed at the moment.

However, just as Katie was smiling and crossing a stream through the forest, crossing a vast area after another, she suddenly stopped at a dense forest on a high cliff.

Not far away, swaying trees, a large group of guys wearing simple armor and wielding swords in their hands to cut down branches in the way and she just walked a meeting.

Paladins... how could they meet a group of Paladins here?

Katie's mouth twitched, wasn't this damn bad luck over yet?

"The witch..."

"She's a witch..."

The strange form of Blade-Katie obviously couldn't be hidden from people, so the knowledgeable Paladins recognized her immediately.

The enemies were extraordinarily jealous of each other!

The holy knights immediately raised their sword shields and flanked Katie in a fan shape.

And Katy also grinned caraculately and gripped the metal mansard in her hand, her scarlet mechanical pupils shining with a hungry killing chill.

With just a moment's scan, she perceived that the group of Paladins in front of her, which numbered no more than 30 to 40, were no more than two Silver Knights (2nd rank) at their strongest, while the rest were Black Iron Knights (1st rank). Such guys were nothing more than miscellaneous fish that she could slaughter at will in her eyes.

Although in the battle of Harkans, she lost a large amount of metal blade wheels and suffered great damage to her body. However, there was still no problem in cleaning up these miscellaneous fish. More importantly, the anger and frustration accumulated on that male witch might be able to be released properly with this killing.

But just as Katy smiled sardonicly and prepared to strike, the dense forest at the back of the Paladin's group split, and another knight walked out slowly.

Katie's scarlet mechanical eyes swept over him and were immediately stung by the dazzling energy glare, while her mechanical heart immediately pounded.

Damn it, it was a rank 4!
