Age of Adepts

Chapter 1003 - Goblin Organ Warlock

In addition to these core sorcerers, the Crimson Family also had a number of elite sorcerers emerge one after another.

For example, the Dragon Eater Ollivine.

Olivine had always been a marginal figure within the Crimson Family, rarely participating in family affairs, and even less likely to get involved in this kind of witch war that had nothing to do with her.

However, with Grim's 'sponsorship', after Oliven successfully advanced to Level 3, in order to repay this favor, she was forced to deeply participate in this Wizard War.

As a Dragon Eater, Oliven's powerful combat abilities were almost entirely related to dragons.

When a 3rd rank beginner fought against a dragon, the basic battle power she could exert was even as weak as the top of the 3rd rank. Even when facing a 4th rank dragon, she was able to retreat from the entire body with ease.

This was the Dragon Devourer's powerful professional ability!

However, when Oliven's opponent changed from a dragon to another person or creature, most of her active or passive combat skills would not be able to be used, thus severely affecting her personal combat strength. At this point in time, she was also just like a 3rd rank beginner Demon Breaker Assassin.

However, the good thing was that she still possessed the basic battle power of a 3rd rank creature, so when she appeared on the battlefield, those elemental sorcerers who only specialized in long-range sorcery and lacked the means of close protection wouldn't dare to squeeze the battlefield too recklessly.

Apart from these high-end battle strengths, the most outstanding in this war was the debut of the two bizarre professions of Goblin Demon Armorer and Goblin Organ Warlock.

Compared to the Goblin Demon Armorer's difficult advancement, the Goblin Organist was a profession that almost any adult goblin could advance in.

Seriously, this was a special profession that had been improved (diminished) specifically for goblins!

The knowledge of firearms, alchemy**, and other basic content required to advance in this profession could be mastered smoothly by almost all goblins. If some more in-depth training was carried out and some knowledge of magic energy principles and magical **ology was mastered, one would be able to successfully advance to Goblin Organ Warlock.

Compared to a wizard's advancement, a Goblin Organs Warlock would not have a de novo-like physical change, but would only passively add some magical weapon handling abilities.

When a diminutive goblin less than 1.2 meters in height controls a huge war machine that is four or five meters tall, it rushes into the battlefield, desperately pouring metal projectiles into the enemy, and ravaging the enemy's position with goblin rockets and thrown alchemy**.......

At least until it had squandered all of its magic ammunition, the battlefield power that a Goblin Organ Warlock could wield was no weaker than that of a 1st rank Junior Sorcerer.

And the greatest advantage of this profession was the wide range of advancement!

After much research and systematic compilation, the many goblin witches had cut out most of the most difficult physical enhancements for wizard advancement, and eliminated many 'unnecessary' witchcraft disciplines. As a result, the percentage of adult goblins who had successfully advanced to Organ Warlock was almost 67%.

This also meant that as soon as the profession of Goblin Organ Warlock appeared, it gave the Goblin clan the possibility of full professionalization!

However, it was only a weakened version of the combat profession after all, and it couldn't improve the goblins' innate constitution.

So even if there were more guys who promoted Goblin Orgonomist, their lifespans were still limited by the goblin clan's innate 'short lifespan'. At this point, it was still never able to match up to those orthodox professionals who had promoted Goblin Organsmiths.

After all, the human sorcerer profession was able to rely on resource inclination and time accumulation to slowly build up a certain number of high-ranking sorcerers. This simple version of the Goblin Orgonist, however, was never able to produce a 2nd rank at all, as it was only 1st rank.

Because the goblin clan's short life was simply not enough to sustain them to 2nd rank!

After all these years of screening and training, a number of up to thirteen goblin wizards had emerged within the Crimson Family. Among them, the one with the fastest progress in strength, the Locke Wizard, already had a 1st rank advanced battle power. At its current rate of progress, it would most likely give birth to the goblin clan's first 2nd rank professional within three to five decades.

In this Sorcerer War, both the sparse number of goblin magicians and the huge number of goblin organists had already stepped onto the battlefield. Judging from their battlefield play, they might be a bit weak in terms of intrigue and strangeness, but in the open battlefield of flesh and blood, their battle power was no weaker than that of a human sorcerer.

This also means that if you throw a Goblin Armorer or Goblin Mechanic with a human sorcerer into the middle of a jungle, the one who can come out of it alive must be a human sorcerer. But to have ten Goblin Mechanic Warlocks step onto the battlefield hand in hand, an equal number of Human Shamans would definitely not be a match for them!

In particular, those demonic goblins transformed into goblin machinists were even more mentally and physically powerful, and the number of magic weapons they could manipulate and afford at the same time was even greater and more ferocious. Faced with the human sorcerers who loved their lives, their brutality and ferocity were able to dominate the battlefield.

No human shaman would do such a foolish thing as attacking against attack, life for life, but they don't care!

So, when the Crimson Family was severely weakened by their opponents in the top tier of battle, it was this group of fearless Goblin Organ Warlocks that held up a solid barrier.

Under the protection of the Demonic Puppet Dragons, Demonic Armies, Goblin Chariots and Floating Giant Ships, the newly-formed 'Tyranny of Blood' group of Goblin Organs Warlocks had simply become the last opponent that the Fabres Family Sorcerers were willing to face.

Honestly, it was impossible to describe the exasperation of the rival wizards as they watched a hideous goblin hiding inside a magic weapon, puffing out huge steam as they uttered their utterances and stepped onto the battlefield, laughing maniacally as they turned the battlefield into a scorched earth with magic cannons, goblin missiles, ****s and throws***!

The magic weapons they controlled had crude defenses and low resistance, and would surely explode into a cloud of fireworks after just one or two blows from a wizard. But... they really didn't care!

It seemed that every goblin organoids that stepped onto the battlefield knew they were dying, so they never planned to turn back to replenish their magical ordnance ammunition. They were on the offensive, racing against the clock to get all the ammunition they could dump out before the war demons they were hiding behind were blown up.

That...might be the only reason they were so violent and ferocious!

They didn't value their lives, but the Fabreth Family's wizards did.

So, as the battle lines got closer and closer to the Crimson Family's place of origin, it left less and less room for the two sides to weave in and out and sneak in an ambush. In many cases, the two sides had no choice but to play position warfare.

After first experiencing the horrors of the Crimson Family's Violent Blood Crew, the Fabreth Family, which had suffered huge losses, could only withdraw their own sorcerers and replace them with a staggering number of transformed witch beasts and metal puppets.

Thus, centering on the Regas Valley, 120 kilometers south of the small town of Sonta, the two sides were going back and forth, shifting the battlefield there, turning one area after another into a scorched and dead land of extinction of life.

On the whole, if we compared the quantity and quality of the grassroots sorcerers and combat soldiers, the Crimson Family was not only not inferior, but also stronger than the Fabreus Family in many areas.

However, once the Fabreth Family's high-ranking sorcerers stepped onto the battlefield, the only high-ranking sorcerers that the Crimson Family could hold back a bit were Mary and Olivine. Although the 3rd rank Emerald Dragon, Aretina, was also called upon to bring some of her dragons to the family battlefield, but when Grim wasn't there, this cunning fellow was also out of work, never allowing herself to be trapped in the midst of many witches of the same rank.

What's more, there was a 4th level Body Tempering Sorcerer hidden in the opposite Sorcerer's camp.

That was a powerful existence that could 'spike' it, so Aretina became more and more cautious and never left the protection range of the Magic Puppet Dragon.

Anyway, with it and the dragons present, the opponent couldn't ignore the terror of the dragons' cluster attack if they wanted to start a large-scale battle. Thus, after pushing the Crimson Clan back to the Land of Origin, the few times that the Fabreth Clan had launched large-scale ground offensives were still mainly small-scale ground infiltration battles.

However, with the passing of a little bit of time, it seemed that the 4th rank old monster behind the Fabreth Family had gradually lost patience and started to pay frequent attention to and intervene in this war.

Under the almost suffocating shadow of terror cast by this 4th rank powerhouse, the little advantage the Crimson Family had accumulated previously was gone in an instant. Every day, the moment the family sorcerers received their tasks and stepped onto the battlefield, they were all nervous and uneasy.

One of the most fundamental reasons why the Crimson Family hadn't collapsed by now was that the 4th rank wizard had been sitting in their family headquarters, never appearing on the battlefield. So far, the main force responsible for pushing the war forward for the Fabreus Family was nothing more than a group of 3rd ranked witches.

But once that 4th ranked Sorcerer lost his patience and stepped onto the battlefield himself, the Crimson Family's current defensive line of war would collapse in an instant. At that time, even with the Magic Puppet Dragon in front, it was unknown whether or not the last Pine Tower City could be saved.

Pine Tower City must not be lost!

The Crimson Family had grown for so many years and had initially accumulated a certain amount of resources and manpower. If they lost the small town of Song Tower, it would be unrealistic to move all of them, who numbered as many as 10,000 to 20,000, to the small geographical area of the Flame Throne Witch Tower to protect them.

But to casually discard them, even if they were to repel the Fabres Family's attack in the future, the Crimson Family would lose the elite and backbone of the re-emerging family.

The mundane territories needed shrewd and capable dignitaries to rule, and a good number of resource points needed competent sorcerers and apprentices to manage them... Guys who could remain faithful to the family despite such cruel circumstances could be the cornerstone of the family's future growth and expansion.

To be honest, not at the moment of exhaustion, the Crimson Family hierarchy would not be able to make up their minds to abandon them!
