Age of Adepts

Chapter 1018 - 4th Order Power

The battle between the two great families that had lasted for more than half a year had finally come to an end.

On one side was a large family with a 4th rank sorcerer sitting on the throne, and on the other side was an emerging family that had risen rapidly, but the outcome of the fight was completely unexpected. It was the Crimson Family that had withstood the multiple attacks of the Fabreth Family and had finally won the final victory with a battle of the highest tiered sorcerers outside of Sonata City.

Although the Crimson Family didn't have any 4th tier sorcerers yet, but with the combination of 3rd tier Fire Witch and 4th tier Magic Puppet Dragon, they were already no weaker than ordinary 4th tier sorcerers.

Moreover, according to the assessment of several senior sorcerers, the legendary Fire Witch who had single-handedly created the Crimson Family had a high probability of advancing to the 4th rank. And this, was undoubtedly a deep water**-like top information!

Step 4....

In most bitworlds, this was already the highest limit of power that could be contained within the bitworld. Taking a step further would result in being shackled and rejected by the bitematrix, and eventually one would have to travel outside the domain to find a new place to live.

And within the bitworld, the 4th rank was the supreme king, the so-called deity in the eyes of mortals!

When you are a 3rd rank wizard, you have to fight hard and work day and night to have an organization or force of your own. But when you become a 4th ranked wizard, you don't have to put in half the effort and hardship, and then there are plenty of wizard organizations or forces that come running to join you, crying out to become your direct subordinates.

That...is the difference between 3rd and 4th Order!

However, the step of 3rd and 4th level was exceptionally difficult to take.

For the Wizard World's unique wizard growth and training system, as long as you had wizard talent, you could enter the Wizard Tower to study and grow. However, depending on the level of their talent, nearly 80% of the sorcerer apprentices were blocked from entering the Sorcerer's Threshold.

And for apprentices to advance to Sorcerer, 60% of them depended on their personal talent potential, while 40% could only rely on luck!

Once promoted to the rank of Sorcerer, the grass chicken immediately turned into a phoenix, leaping to the top of the human hierarchy and becoming the true master of the Sorcerer world. However, this point is only for the human kingdom, in the real witch community, the 1st level witches are still only cannon fodder and objects to be exploited.

Those ambitious sorcerers struggled at the bottom of every sorcerer family, organization, and power, fighting for a little bit of sorcerer resources.

In all seriousness, the competition and elimination in the wizarding world was even more intense, cruel, and far-reaching than the treachery among the nobles of the human kingdom!

The fall of one wizard could lead to the collapse of a secular and powerful family! The rise of one sorcerer could result in the birth of a prominent and glorious human kingdom!

On the other hand, the division of secular kingdoms and the change of generations seem to be a natural evolution and inevitable historical development. But a deeper look into the inner reasoning reveals that all of this is merely an extension of the power of the wizarding community's ups and downs.

Before the rise of the Crimson Clan, there were seven large and small sorcerer families and organizations in the Eloise region, as well as nearly a hundred noble territories. There were also as many as five human kingdoms with centuries of heritage history.

These large and small noble territories, as well as the five human kingdoms, all belonged to different sorcerer families or organizations, and were places where they gathered resources and absorbed new blood.

However, with the end of the war between the Crimson Family and the Fabres Family, the human kingdoms and noble territories in the entire Eloise region also underwent a traumatic reshuffle and recasting. Countless powerful families who had stood in the wrong position during the war were overthrown and purged, while more middle and low ranking nobles who were firmly on the side of Crimson took advantage of the opportunity to rise to power, occupying one vast and fertile land after another.

There was no longer any other wizarding organization or power in the entire region of Elovis, only one voice remained, and that was the Crimson family, which was as strong as ever. Under these circumstances, all the noble territories were like shattered pieces of sinew and flesh and blood, which began to converge, merge and grow together under the implementation and cohesion of a powerful will....

With the Flame Throne and Pine Tower City at its center, the beginnings of an oversized human kingdom began to slowly emerge.

............

The conflict on the border did not really happen.

Faced with the overbearing elite warriors of the major witch families, the Crimson upper echelons were not overwhelmed by the sudden victory, and then challenged the existing witch order throughout the Scattered Tallinn.

A large number of Fabreth Family's main force escaped from the Ellowes region with the intervention of outside forces, but still 60% of the lower level forces were abandoned on the battlefield. And they were partially annihilated by the Crimson Clan and partially captured by selective defeat.

When the legions of the Frost Giants attacked, they were swift and fierce, but when they fled, they became the Crimson's main targets due to their large size and slow movement. Nearly 40% of the Frost Giant warriors died on the path of escape, while the remaining ones, led by two Frost Giant mages, had no choice but to surrender and sit cross-legged in a valley, being closely monitored by the Crimson Family.

The other alien beast legion, although they have the speed of escape like the wind, but they are unfamiliar with the terrain. Therefore, without the leadership of the Fabreus family sorcerers, they were like a bunch of headless flies dashing left and right across the vast territory of the Alois region, not knowing where to flee to.

When the Crimson Family cut off all roads to the outside world, they became a flock of birds in a cage, a turtle in a jar, with nowhere to escape.

The Crimson Family had originally intended to recruit some of the beasts for research, but unfortunately, these beasts did not possess the full intelligence and autonomous consciousness of the Frost Giants. Unfortunately, these beasts did not have the complete intelligence and autonomous consciousness of the Frost Giants. The battle orders etched in their souls made them obey only the commands of specific sorcerers, so they could not be surrendered at all.

Thus, a floating giant ship carrying a large number of battle demons caught up with them and completely annihilated them in a remote wilderness.

As for that particular team of stone gargoyles, they protected the Fabres family's floating wooden ship all the way out of the Eloise region. Several times along the way the Crimson Family tried to intercept them, but they were destroyed by the 3rd rank wizards from the Fabreth side.

This unprecedented debacle lasted for five whole days, spreading throughout the entire territory of Alois.

For a time, the entire Alois region was like a giant war ruin, cities, castles and manors that had been knocked down and destroyed could be seen everywhere, the corpses of oddly shaped exotic beasts could be seen everywhere, and smoke and devastated earth could be seen everywhere....

After destroying and capturing the remaining fighting forces of the Fabreth Family, it took the Crimson Family another half a month to eliminate the alienated and witch beasts that had fled to various countryside or remote areas one by one.

It wasn't until September 13th that the battle in Alois territory was all declared over.

And the war that took place between the Fabreth Family and the Crimson Family only ended with the Crimson Family's total victory!

But victory comes at a very high price!

Due to the unbridled fighting and destruction between the two sides, the war had destroyed seven wizard resource points, more than a dozen human cities, hundreds of castles and manors, and tens of thousands of acres of food crops. According to incomplete statistics after the war, the number of Crimson people who died as a result of this family war was as high as 210,000.

Life has a different perspective, and the attitude towards this war is completely different.

If you are an ordinary Sorcerer, the war will bring you and your family nothing but suffering and a painful past that you can never forget. But if you are a surviving Crimson Witch, then this is a moment to celebrate.

Because... the war is won!

Although the Crimson Family had suffered huge losses in this war, the tangible and intangible benefits it could gain once it won were immeasurable.

Not to mention, the mere recognition of the Crimson Family's ruling authority by the Scattered Tallinn Association was worth thousands of dollars!

From now on, the Alois region would become the private property of the Crimson Family, and all the resources, territories, children, mountains, and mines on this land would also belong to the Crimson Family. And this was extremely rare in the middle of the continent.

In the middle of the continent, the Scattered Tower Forest had a total of 31 regions of large and small human activity, which was divided into 31 different regions. Each region had an approximate outline boundary, thus spacing each other out.

In this vast expanse of land, there were hundreds of wizard families and powerful wizard organizations or forces. They were all scattered in these 31 regions, competing and confronting each other, yet coexisting.

Among all these families, organizations and forces, only a 4th ranked force could occupy an entire region by itself.

And the so-called 4th rank power meant that the organization or power had a 4th rank sorcerer within it!

This, however, was the most important prerequisite for a wizard family, organization or power to dominate an area. A power that didn't have the recognition of others, even if it expelled all its competitors by virtue of its momentary strength, couldn't rule peacefully for a long time.

The example of the Crimson Family was obvious.

The previous Crimson Family didn't have a 4th stage sorcerer, but only a 4th stage war magic weapon that hadn't been tested by the Sorcerer War. As such, its dominance had never been recognized by the Scattered Tallinn region, and it was not surprising that such a family war had broken out.

Now that the Scattered Tallinn Association had recognized the Crimson Family's dominance over the entire Alois region, it was tantamount to recognizing the Crimson Family's status as a 4th Order power.

And the latter's weight was earth-shattering in the middle of the entire continent!

It must be known that the entire middle of the continent, the Scattered Earth Tallinn Region, only possessed a total of fourteen rank 4 sorcerers. Furthermore, it had been hundreds of years since a new 4th rank had appeared in the Scattered Earth Tallinn Region.

According to a good researcher, among the many 3rd rank wizards, only three of them had the best hope of advancing to the 4th rank.

Gallo, the Shattered Face Sorcerer of the Denel Family, Dante, the Psychic Sorcerer of the Annemado Academy, and Sanaza Sorcerer of the Sarupo Family... and now, I'm afraid a new name needs to be added, the Legendary Fire Sorcerer Grim!
