Age of Adepts

Chapter 1107 - Bullying the Weak.

The arrival of the evil hooves without exception also alerted Grim and the others.

After all, they were all 4th rank, the strongest within the bit, and although they still had highs and lows with each other, they had all put a great deal of effort into their personal protection.

Thus, when the evil hooves appeared on top of the distant mountain packs, Grim, Holly, and Qiu Lisa sensed it and woke up from their sleep or meditation, their mental consciousness becoming active again.

Grim had appeared in the sky above the cabin at some point, remotely examining the ferocious exotic beast crouching on the high ground in the distance, feeling both nervous and excited.

Calamity creatures were an extremely formidable opponent even in a large bit like the Wizard World. Especially those Calamity Lords who had survived for thousands or even tens of thousands of years, all of them belonged to the powerful existence of a bitter natural disaster.

I don't know how many surface worlds lacking powerful guardianship had been destroyed by them in one fell swoop, with all the surface creatures slaughtered and the rare resources inside plundered away. Even the origin of the bit plane that maintained the stability and development of the world was all siphoned away, causing the entire bit plane to collapse and disintegrate, thus becoming 'waste' drifting in the endless sea of stars.

Thus, if one viewed witches as blood-sucking leeches attached to the bit-world, then the calamity creatures were marching ants that devoured and gnawed at everything. Wherever they passed, the bits of the surface crumbled and the living became extinct, leaving only some of the broken bits of the continent slipping into the Void Storm and becoming a sustenance for those astral plane wanderers.

Both sides were at the top of the food chain, but there was an extreme disparity in status and power between them!

In terms of power alone, the witches were jackals and wolves, while the Calamity Lords were the tigers and panthers dominating the mountains.

It was for this reason that this Evil Hoof dared to charge in front of the several witches with such recklessness.

In Grim's pupils, which combined multiple visual effects, this Evil Hoof was indeed different from an ordinary creature of the position, with a distinctive smell emanating from everywhere.

In terms of size, the Evil Hoof wasn't huge, only 3 meters tall and short.

Such a size was even a bit too 'petite' among the Calamity Lords that could easily be hundreds or thousands of meters tall.

However, considering that it was only a differentiated billet of that 6th Order Calamity Lord, it made sense to choose a more flexible body in order to invade the interior of the bit.

The Evil Hoof resembled a Mastiff, with smooth and flowing body lines, as well as strong and powerful limbs, and sharp foot claws. But the most attractive thing about the Evil Hoof was its head.

Seriously speaking, the Evil Hoof did not have a head.

From above the neckline, the entire skull was torn open like four blooming petals, and the edges were covered with sharp, razor-sharp teeth. A long, thick tentacle peeked out from the heart of the flower, and at the end of the tentacle was a strange eyeball dripping and sweeping around.

When this terrifying evil hoof high above the mountain bag, hind legs slightly squatted, the upper body upright, four rose petal-like hideous mouthparts to the direction of the witch is pounding trembling, the middle of the eye stalk is even more unable to twist and sinuous, eyes on the three wizards.

Without a word of greeting, nor a declaration of war, the evil hoofed body raised a strange hiss, and behind the mountain bag ten thousand beasts ran, a large number of alienated beasts swarmed out, straight at the several witches.

The way the Calamity Lords greeted each other was indeed different!

When you met it, you chose to go to war without saying a word.

If you can resist the siege of its men, you have naturally earned the right to speak with it as an equal. If you can't carry it off... the weak are in no position to dialogue or bargain with it!

Grim's eyes rounded and quickly scanned the alienated beasts that were running around.

There were many different kinds of them, and their appearance was even more strange, almost any form. Among them were eagles with lion heads, tigers with deer bodies and wolf claws, and even more monsters with mixed flesh and blood, making it difficult to distinguish between species and genera....

It could be seen that they were all differentiated creatures whose life origins had been distorted and deformed by the Calamity Lord's defilement, no longer having their original appearance and autonomous consciousness.

As long as the Calamity Lord gave the order, these post-contamination dissimilarized beasts would charge up like irrational maniacs and tear apart any enemies in their way.

Their creature levels, too, ranged from 1st to 3rd rank, and they were all-encompassing and all-embracing.

Nor did they distinguish between one another or formations, so they gathered in great numbers, roaring and shrieking at the three wizards.

Grim and Holly Witch looked at each other, immediately understood each other's intentions, and did not hesitate to go to war!

As the most powerful elemental sorcerer among the three, Grim's body, which was originally only 2 meters, expanded to ten meters in almost the blink of an eye. With his feet firmly pinned on the ground, red steaming flames dazzled around his body, and a piece of energized witch weapon appeared on the surface of his body one after another.

Flaming Wall!

A meteor shower of fire!

Firestorm!

While the body was still able to elementalize, Grim's Fire Coral Sorcerer's Wand in his hand gently shook, already projecting three ranged, high-powered flame sorceries to the front of the battlefield.

The Flame Magic Wall erected a 10 meter long and 3 meter wide wall of flames in front of the charging aberrant beasts, and any guy who broke into it would have to take 900 degrees of flame damage per second. Those 3rd rank alienated beasts might be able to make it through with their strong bodies, while the remaining 1st and 2nd rank little guys would have their magical elements around their bodies directly ignited the moment they got caught in the magic fire.

It wouldn't take more than three flexes of the finger to quickly burn into a pile of cinders.

The Meteor Firestorm is a rain of fire meteors falling from the sky, exploding into a huge fireball wherever it hits, and shooting terrifying shards of lava into the surrounding area. On the other hand, the Flame Storm is a ring-shaped flame shock ripple that spreads out in all directions, and every life swept by the flame wave has to suffer 700 degrees of flame damage.

The flame wave had five layers, and the flame damage effects could also be stacked.

This kind of Heaven and Earth compound attack might be somewhat lacking in power if it was used to deal with 4th level creatures. But if it was used to deal with a huge number of low-level creatures, it was simply opening up a huge incinerator at the front of the battlefield. Whoever dared to enter it would be immediately incinerated to ashes by the three Flame Sorcery attacks, without even having the chance to utter a word.

Fighting a Calamity Lord level creature for the first time, Grim didn't bring out all of his means.

The four major flame effects he had only attached Flame Boost and Flame Intensity, the latter two were not revealed. The Focus Crystal, which he used as a killer weapon, was even more hidden and would never be taken out until a critical moment.

But even so, as a 4th level Legendary Fire Witch, Grim's terrifying power still made the other two sorcerers' attacks seem as soft as water, with no hint of power.

As soon as Grim made his move, he instantly annihilated the 300-odd alien beasts that were at the forefront of the attack, while the Holly Sorcerer, under a burst of bright starlight, quickly donned his star armor and killed the alien beasts as if he had broken into a cluster.

The star armor on Holly Shaman's body seemed a bit odd, and his punches and kicks had a terrifying power far beyond that of ordinary metal puppets. One punch hit an oncoming alienated beast, and the strange starlight power shone and jumped on the bodies of several surrounding alienated beasts, instantly bursting them into a blood clump in the air.

And the bizarre starlight kept casting down, and any guy near the Holly Witch would be paralyzed by a straight downward starlight impact, having difficulty controlling his body. And as soon as they paused for a moment, they would be directly blown away by its violent and ferocious steel fist.

No matter if it was a little guy of the 1st or 2nd stage, or a ferocious differentiated beast of the 3rd stage, there was only one result in front of the Holly Wizard, and that was to explode into a blood sauce that spread all over the sky.

For a while, Holly Sorcerer drove his magical armor, which was overflowing with strange stars, through the clusters of enemies, killing them left and right, without a single enemy.

But no matter how fast he kills, he is not as good as Grim, who poured a piece of flame over and killed the group.

As for that Qiu Lisa, she still didn't release Mangus, nor did she transform into a two-headed witch's frame. With her powerful and strange spiritual sorcery, she compelled and lured some of the alienated beasts to fight with each other dog-eat-dog.

These alienated beasts might be invincible and terrifying monsters in front of the natives, but in front of these 4th stage witches who were standing at the peak of the surface, they were still as weak as a bunch of pitiful sheep.

With Holly Sorcerer, a super meat shield, at the front, Grim didn't have to worry about defending himself and instead focused on acting as his own firepower turret.

He transformed into a ten-meter tall Flame Giant and stood frozen in the center of the village, throwing a Flame Sorcery to the front line from time to time to block the aberrant beasts' crazy advancement routes. They were left to dash left and right like a group of blind men in their own flames, unable to find a way out, then howled in pain and fell suddenly to the ground, burned into withered and shriveled charred corpses.

Although Grim was attacking incessantly, most of his mind was still focused on the evil hoof that was perched on top of the mountain pack.

Even at the height of the battle, Grim still had one or two high-powered flame sorceries ready in his hands that had not been triggered. Once that Evil Hoof made any strange moves, he did not hesitate to throw them on top of its body.

Setanus Evil Hoof was still standing safely on top of the mountain pack, silently surveying the battlefield.

Although its men were brutally ravaged by the opponent's feet and slaughtered by the hundreds, there was not the slightest fluctuation or regret in its heart.

Some worthless pollutants were just that, and even if more died, it would not make it blink its eyes.

As long as it could bring down that Orbital Empire's Floating City, the number of such a legion of alienated beasts would not be a problem at all.

The only thing it cared about now was the strength of the three sorcerers in front of it.
