Age of Adepts

Chapter 1120 - Crazy Battle

"Red Lotus Fire Rain... Scorching Fire!"

Grim hissed out a short sorcery break with a loud roar, summoning raging tendrils of flame from his side to attack the wyrm.

The flames were golden yellow, imbued with a hint of strange power that was different from the past.

As soon as the golden flame collided with the dense dead air outside of the Witch Demon Kanganus, the two very different forces engaged in a frenzied devouring and annihilation of life and death.

The golden flame and the pale dead air clashed with each other in the void, entangling and annihilating each other....

As soon as the golden flame appeared, the negative curses that Kangenas had placed on Grim's body were like snowfields under the scorching sun, and most of them were scorched and evaporated in an instant. The remaining ones could no longer continue to influence and interfere with Grim's every move like before.

The two sources of power, on the other hand, began to race against each other to quickly inspire a variety of terrifying spells in an effort to pave the way for eventual victory.

Guys at the level of Wraith and Grim were able to summon all sorts of powerful spells even if they didn't have to hold a spell to cast them. But when their opponent was a strong enemy of the same level, it was better to honestly hold a spell and cast the spells that inspired them to pose a real threat to the opponent.

The various instant spells were more likely to just be used to interrupt or disrupt the rhythm of the opponent's spell casting.

After a series of insane and brutal transformations, Wraiths usually transform every part of their body into a terrifying spell sequencer. And the way they cast spells was completely different from normal spell casters.

Thus, when the Witch Demon Kangenas perceived the horror of the golden flames, it immediately did not hesitate to speed up the pace of its spell-casting.

Its terrifying skull stared at Grim who was stepping into the fire, and within its eye sockets, the soul fire hidden behind the large ruby was rapidly vibrating and fluctuating. And its upper and lower jaws also began to tremble rapidly, emitting a strange crashing crunching sound of cackling....

It wasn't that it was trembling in fear, but rather a unique way of casting spells by the Witch Demon.

In its open mouth, the upper and lower gums were studded with strange magic gems of different colors and functions. And it activated these magic gems regularly through the rapid opening and closing of its upper and lower jaws to strike.

Thus without even holding a spell to cast a spell, a terrifying spell already stored in it was synthesized into a powerful sequence of spells according to the Witch Demon's intentions, and wildly struck the Grim.

Why was the Witch Demon regarded as an extremely cruel and terrifying top-level magical creature in all planes? By this extremely unique way of casting spells!

Such spell sequences usually consist of a combination of magic-breaking spells + offensive elemental spells + compound curses + instant-death spells.

Among them, the Demon Breaker spell is responsible for breaking the opponent's external magical protection; the Offensive Elemental spell is responsible for creating elemental damage or triggering the opponent's deep protection; the Compound Curse is responsible for weakening the opponent's elemental resistance; and the Imminent Death spell that wraps around it is the real core of the sequence....

Such a terrifying and targeted sequence of spells had helped Congenas defeat and kill countless enemies who came to challenge him. However, this sequence was far from enough to deal with Grim, who had also mastered some of the Laws of Flame.

The raging flames shrank abruptly.

A strange golden shield coalesced between Grim and Kangenas.

The shield wasn't large or thick enough, yet it was extremely solid due to the presence of the golden flames.

A series of spell sequences struck the golden shield, and the magic-breaking spell triggered a frenzy of elemental particles that destroyed the existing spell model. Unfortunately, the power of the flaming law imbedded in it was clearly at a higher power level than the Demon Breaker spell, so the destruction was not complete.

Although the Golden Shield was disturbed and destroyed by the Demon Breaker spell, it still restrained the fire elemental particles within its corresponding range, and thus greatly affected the subsequent spell sequences. The terrifying Skeletal Arrows and Dark Red Berserk, as well as the terrifying Energy Absorption spell were all detonated early, blossoming into a reddish purple aura of death in front of the broken golden shield.

And while defending against the witch attacks, Grim Witch Staff swung, firing out a half-human-sized lava fireball from the tip of the staff*.

In fact, in terms of elemental killing power alone, a 4th stage incandescent fireball was far stronger than a 2nd stage molten lava fireball. Unfortunately, the Wraith's own elemental resistance was too high, and elemental damage was far less effective against it than physical damage.

Therefore, Grim could only choose the 2nd Order Lava Fireball!

Even if it was a rank 2 lava fireball, the attack power was far from ordinary as it shot out from Grim's hands at this moment.

Inside a huge fireball made up of pure lava and flame, filled with liquid magma of incredibly high temperature, endless light and heat penetrated through the cracks in the lava, baking the entire space with unbearable heat.

And such lava fireballs, Grim shot hundreds of them in one shot.

One borrowed one....

The first one had just ricocheted out, and the basic outline of the second one was already visible.

They hit the skeletal wall like a cannonball, bursting into a rain of lava fire that scorched the bone wall with a cracking sound. The skeletons that made up the skeletal wall were burnt red by the hot flames, struggling to escape from the skeletal wall.

The twenty-meter-wide, one-meter-thick wall of skeletal remains only lasted five seconds before collapsing with a huge roar, scattering bone fragments all over the ground. The subsequent lava fireballs were blocked by a new wall of skeletal remains.

With the support of several walls of skeletal remains, the Wraith Kanganus finally completed a new spell sequence once more.

As Connors sacrificed the seventh rib on the right side of his body, a group of ghostly banshees with shadowy bodies and terrifying faces were summoned, rushing up into the sky with miserable screams all the way.

These banshees were no more than a 3rd level creature, but the piercing screams they emitted were a huge disturbance to the human caster as well!

After releasing the group of spoilers, Magnus reached out his right bone hand and quickly drew in the empty space in front of him, outlining an evil rune with a phosphorescent green fluorescence. However, before these evil runes could converge into a terrifying death spell, the soulfire hidden behind the empty orbital ruby shuddered and panicked, abandoning the spell that was about to take shape and quickly dodging backwards for nearly a hundred meters.

And as soon as its dense form emerged from the void, a terrifying flame sorcery erupted from its original position.

Doomsday Volcano!

The scorched and blackened earth quickly bulged and cracked, spewing out countless streams of hot flames and streams of red hot magma from within, rapidly melting everything around it into a world of lava.

If Kangenas didn't escape in time, it was afraid that it would have to endure the full power of this apocalyptic volcano. And now, it only needed to endure the heat wave that 'warmed' it up a little bit.

With the magic resistance of a rank 4 Witch Demon, a stream of flame with a temperature of 6,000 to 7,000 degrees would be nothing more than a spring breeze to it. But for most of the bit creatures, this 'spring breeze' could pin gold and sparkle stone, even roasting volcanic rocks that could withstand high temperatures to liquidity.

The attack spell was interrupted, but how could Connors be willing to take a beating for nothing? He immediately inspired a spell ring on his left ring finger and projected a Hardened Bone Spear at the Grim.

This was not an ordinary Hardened Bone Spear, but a strange bone spear imbued with a strong scent of death and capable of ignoring all physical defenses. Moreover, the bone spear tip was also wrapped with terrifying carrion seeds, which could spread the plague seeds once they were tainted with flesh and blood.

Faced with such a terrifying bone spear, Grim, who was carefully preparing his next flame sorcery, also turned slightly pale with fright, and hurriedly exploded his body into a flame and escaped.

Thus, the two guys whose spell-casting abilities had both reached the peak of their bits were, on the one hand, frantically attacking each other, and on the other hand, trying to dodge each other's attacks in time. They attacked each other frantically one after the other, and then fled quickly, turning the vast space into a place for them to fight.

In the meantime, there had been a few Olympians who had come to find a bargain in the Tower, but they had been fought off by the two guys who had hit real fire together. There was no way that Witch and Grim, no matter how stupid they were, wouldn't do the stupid thing of fighting a lion and tiger and getting bitten by a white rabbit in the back.

Therefore, after several attempts, the arcane masters could only try their best to hide in the distance, silently observing the two foreign invaders fighting in the inner ring of the Floating City.

Such strange battlefields were not just limited to Grim, as three or four battlefields successively erupted with terrifying energy fluctuations. The most conspicuous among them was the ferocious battle between that Calamity Little Lord Evil Hoof and a 5 Ring Great Arcane Master.

It was safe to say that the energy aftershocks from that battle had far surpassed the 4th level. This also meant that the Level 6 Aurous Night Lord that was standing pinned behind Evil Hoof had most likely projected some of his power over.

And in such a central battlefield, guys with a little lesser strength wouldn't dare to participate or even watch. Thus, they were driven out by the super-order power and could only fight the autumn breeze around the Ordeal Hall.

This way, the chances of friction and conflict with each other increased!

The Floating Sky City's energy center deep within the stone foundation had been completely destroyed by the Evil Hoof, becoming more and more broken and miserable after being repeatedly foot-touched and destroyed by so many otherworldly strongmen.

Large areas of arcane buildings had been destroyed due to the battles of the strongmen, and the Floating Sky City was also losing its ability to levitate little by little!

Once standing proudly on top of the clouds, Ruijing Garden Floating Sky City is now like a vase full of holes, no longer able to maintain its own stability and height, slowly through the clouds, in a strange tilted posture slowly falling into the floral grassland.
