Age of Adepts

Chapter 1136 - Power of Fire Witch

The ones that swooped down were all strange flying dragons.

In terms of size, shape and attack style, they were somewhat similar to swamp flying dragons or wild poisonous dragons. They also had a 5-meter long body covered with fine gray scales, powerful flesh wings covered with scales, thick and strong hind legs, sharp claws, and shiny teeth covered with sticky saliva.

In addition to this, their claws, sharp teeth, and the end of the long spindle-shaped bony tail dragging behind them all dazzled with black smoke, looking like they were full of poisonous appearance.

Such powerful ferocious beasts, when they swooped down one by one from high in the sky, their terrifying impact and bite ability could easily defeat the indigenous armies of any bit world. Coupled with a body full of toxins, even a small cut by them could trigger a terrifying blood poison even for an ordinary bitworld powerhouse.

Unfortunately, they clearly hadn't chosen the right enemy for themselves today!

Facing the swooping dragons, the Mangus siblings let out a crisp and deep sneer, and even took the initiative to transform into a two-headed wizard, then with one hand elemental sorcery and the other spiritual ability rushed into it.

Under the rampage of the violent sorcery, one head of flying dragon was blown up with a miserable shriek, flesh and blood flying. And when Qiu Lisa's spiritual blast ripples swept across the sky, pieces of flying dragons fell into the sky in a dizzy state.

For a time, the entire group of flying dragons was in complete chaos.

Grim was perceiving clearly through the chip, this strange flying dragon was at best a group of stage 2 creatures, and the exotic strongman wasn't much better than them, with an energy scent that was only at stage 3 level. Although it might be able to somewhat increase its attack and protection power after fusing with the flying dragon beneath it, trying to threaten and attack a few rank 4 witches would be a bit too arrogant!

Not to mention Grim and Holly, even the Mangus siblings, the acknowledged 'brisket' of the team, once they launched into power, they rampaged through the group of flying dragons, and slaughtering them was as easy as chopping up a melon.

Seeing that his 'prey' was so arrogant, the exotic strongman who himself possessed 3rd stage strength and had deeply fused with a 3rd stage flying dragon roared and shrieked as he rushed down into the sky.

But only halfway down, it was hit by Mangus' violent and ferocious Elemental Sorcery, and its flesh was split open. And when it rushed strongly to the other side, it was instructed by a small mental illusion by Qiu Lisa to chase that phantom around all over the sky.

And just as the Mangus siblings were easily playing tricks on each other like walking a dog, not too far away in the sky, a group of powerful flying magical beasts with black scales and red wings flew out from a huge sunset-like crack. On top of the beasts' backs, there was a fellow who was somewhat similar in appearance and form to the former.

As soon as they appeared, their gazes couldn't help but fall on this strange battlefield, and a few of the leaders immediately rushed into a rage, whistling with a group of their men as they streaked towards here.

Grim swept his gaze over the area and quickly assessed the base strength of the visitors.

Most of them were 'little guys' of the 2nd or 3rd stage, while the one leading the group was a strong 4th stage, with a strange energy fluctuation that could be clearly perceived from afar.

"Damn witches, how dare you slaughter our Daima, I'll make you all die here today..."

I don't know if these foreign powers were too arrogant, or if they lacked a muscle in their heads, but they still rushed up like a herd of wild boars even though their overall strength was superior to Grim's side.

Grim frowned slightly.

To be honest, he didn't want to start this battle today.

For one, it was a purely meaningless battle of spirits, and even if he left all of these arrogant guys behind, it would be difficult to gain any meaningful loot.

To be honest, in the eyes of a few sorcerers, these exotic powerhouses were no different from a bunch of brainless demonic ferocious beasts, not worthy of the great title of intelligent race.

Secondly, the current Morian Plane was already in chaos, with strange creatures and exotic strongmen from all the major regions and camps showing up within the Plane. If they were too beckoning at this time, they would easily attract the attention of those really strong people.

Once they were targeted by those guys, Grim Three's return journey would be plagued with disasters!

One bad one, and there really could be an unnecessary doom of life.

So looking at the ferocious 'dragon' group swooping in, Grim's eyes were cold and harsh, and with a light snort, a dark red elemental boundary popped out, enveloping a thousand-meter radius underneath it in an instant.

The Burning Realm....

The elemental means that this Grim had mastered as a Fire Witch from the 1st level had evolved from the initial high temperature boundary into a flame boundary, and then into the current burning field, while its attack power was increasing rapidly step by step.

Within the Burning Domain, there was almost no distinction between energy levels and strengths.

Any enemy that stepped within the domain would suffer direct burns from the elemental flames, with elemental damage as high as 200 degrees per second.

Chapter 200.

Such elemental damage was nothing more than a warm-up strength for those 4th level powerhouses, so Grim had rarely unleashed Burning Fields in high level battles anymore. Having that time to maintain the burning field was a little more cost-effective than releasing an additional attacking power condensing blazing fireball.

But when faced with a large number of low-level magical creatures, the Burning Domain instantly reversed and changed the entire battlefield.

Where the pale red curtain of elemental light enveloped, everything began to burn.

The earth is burning, the rocks are burning, the earth is burning, and even the air is beginning to burn....

The group of flying dragons that were wrapped in it were even more wrapped in red flames, burning with a cracking sound. No matter how they flapped their flesh wings and flew low and circled, they could not escape from the entanglement and burning of the elemental flames.

Although this strange flying dragon also had a degree of magic resistance, their scales and bodies were as thin as a sheet of paper when facing a powerful fire witch who had mastered the power of the four flame laws.

All the flying dragons that were within the burning field were flying around like blind men, flying wildly. Many flying dragons fell all the way down into the sky in mourning due to the impact or tearing of their companions.

Those flying dragons located at the edge of the burning field were still able to rely on their strong bodies to struggle and escape. Even after escaping, their bodies were covered with large and small prairie blisters, as well as patches of terrifying burn marks. The remaining flying dragons, on the other hand, roared and rammed madly within the burning field for more than a dozen flexes of time, which also turned into a scorching fireball plummeting down.

Pfffft....

Like dumplings, a head of strange flying dragons with their flesh wings burned through and their bodies blackened fell from the sky, smashing a deep hole in the ground. All they could do, however, was to let out a long, miserable shriek from their charred, wounded and dying necks, but they couldn't get rid of the omnipresent elemental flames.

Eventually, a head drooped helplessly, burning into a pile of charred corpses in the scorching flames that made it difficult to identify the original form.

The group of flying dragons that were swooping in from afar Ug stopped their charge.

Due to the horror and terror of the scene in front of them, and the urgency with which they stopped, many of the flying dragon riders were forced to gallop and coil to avoid their companions who braked violently.

For a moment, the order of the dragons in the sky became abruptly chaotic!

The 4th rank Flying Dragon Knight who headed the group stalled before the pale red burning field and set his gaze distantly on Grim through the elemental light curtain.

Grim had now transformed into a humanoid flame, and his body had not expanded and giganticized, still maintaining a height of 2 meters. A blazing gaze within the Burning Pupil likewise gazed distantly at the 4th rank exotic powerhouse, and the two collided halfway through, even spattering dazzling sparks of fire.

This is the power of a 4th rank wizard!

Every move they made, even if it was just a casual gaze, could project or induce subtle changes in the magical elements of heaven and earth, resulting in a strange magical effect.

And that 4th rank flying dragon knight just locked eyes with Grim for a dozen or so flexes before he was forced to avert his gaze, which forced down the slowly rising burning sensation in his body.

Powerful people from the Wizard World... their own group could hardly match each other head on!

Chapter Four.

"Misunderstanding misunderstanding misunderstanding... it seems today was a misunderstanding! It's a pleasure to meet some of you powerful people from the Wizard World here, and I, Naguta, greet you!" Speaking the difficult bawdy wizard's universal language, the strange-looking 4th rank knight had a frighteningly disturbing 'good-natured smile' on his face.

Grim looked around at the pile of charred remains within the Burning Field, as well as the little rank 3 guy who had been beaten half to death by the Mangus siblings. Such a shocking tragedy was just a 'misunderstanding' in the other party's mouth, and Grim couldn't help but laugh lightly.

"Since this is a misunderstanding, Your Excellency may leave!"

He could not speak in a friendly tone, and that 4th rank Flying Dragon Knight's face changed, but he never dared to turn the other cheek.

Eventually, the other party shouted, and the entire huge group of flying dragons flapped their flesh wings and whistled towards an empty group somewhere in the distance. Hundreds of thousands of strange flying dragons flapped their flesh wings together as the whistling wind curled up, immediately triggering a terrifying hurricane like a tsunami on the spot.

But no matter how fierce and tyrannical these flying dragons were, they didn't dare to take another step into the pale red burning field, and flew around the edge of the elemental boundary in a hurry.

Only after the group of flying dragons and those flying dragon riders left in ashes did Grim retract the burning field. And those tumbling and dazzling golden flames also retracted back into his body, revealing his young and handsome face once again.

The Holly Wizard sighed in envy.

Although he was also a Bit 4 and possessed no weak battle power, he was still far inferior to those pure elemental sorcerers when it came to battlefield control. Especially for someone like Grim who had broken through the elemental boundaries and was able to peek into the power of the surface laws in advance, his every move had a hint of 'rules'.

This, however, could only stem from soul talent, and was difficult to change through acquired efforts.

Of course, the exception was such an ungodly treasure like the Bitface Origin!
