Age of Adepts

Chapter 1142 - The Crimson Conference

Aboard a small floating airship, it passed through the mountains and forests for over two hundred miles.

After passing through the twisting and turning caverns of flame, and passing through the lava halls, all the Crimson executives arrived at the Throne of Flame under the vigilance of a large number of flame creatures and high magic weapons.

The place where Grim met them was within the Sorcery Hall on the second floor of the Sorcerer's Tower.

A huge obsidian table was placed in the center of the hall, flanked by exquisitely shaped high-backed stone chairs. At one end of the long table were three high chairs, arranged in a zigzag pattern, and the one sitting at the front was of course the mysterious and unpredictable legendary fire witch who had single-handedly created this Crimson Family, Lord Grim.

Behind him, there were two high chairs on the left and one on the right.

On the left was the Blood Queen Mary, who was in charge of most of the family's power, while on the right was the lowly and seldom-seen Witch of Fate, Lord Alice.

And the three of them were undoubtedly the true core that supported the entire Crimson Family!

After not seeing each other for a long time, the family members who entered the hall one after another first curtsied to the three top-ranking family members before carefully taking their seats in accordance with their own seating order. Their eyes were also surreptitiously sizing up this magical and powerful legendary family head.

Today, Grim was wearing a large red witch robe, the gorgeous and exquisite robe was decorated with fluorescent flickering sorcery runes and magic lines, the dense flame breath gently pulsing on it. His entire torso was completely covered by this wide robe, revealing only a slightly pale face.

Grim's face was quite handsome, with long black hair tied behind him by a delicate ring, high eyebrows, a straight nose, and two light lips pursed tightly, the edges of which were slightly cold.

After countless hours of blood and fire, the youthfulness and naivety of Grim's body had completely faded away, and in its place was a deep, restrained, wise and profound mystical air of mystery.

However, Grim's face appeared a little too pale, somewhat quite different from his usual image of glistening skin and surging blood, always giving people a feeling of weakness after a serious illness.

As many family members looked at him, they couldn't help but be somewhat secretly suspicious.

Could it be that the rumors prevalent outside that the family master had returned from a serious injury were true?

After seeing everyone take their seats in turn, Grim gagged his mouth with his fist and coughed lightly a few times before looking up and looking around at everyone, finally settling his gaze on Gargamel who was the first one on his left hand.

"Since everyone is already here, then... Gargamel, you'll be the first to report on the basic situation of the family headquarters over the years!"

"Yes!" Gargamel hurriedly stood up and bowed, and only after receiving Grim's approval did this take out a thick ledger and recite it one by one.

"Currently, the only region directly controlled by the family in Scattered Tallinn is Alois, while the other regions controlled indirectly through affiliated families or cast-off forces are Red Gundam Land, Tranquil Pasture, Raven Ridge, Hunter's Coast, and Lake Menna..."

"...the Crimson Dynasty's territory has expanded another 300 miles to the northwest, already bordering the outer territories of the Denel clan...The Third Order of Magic Arms has moved north, 400 miles deep into the Black Forest, and is currently Making an outpost camp... the last message they sent back indicated that the raids and attacks of the demon lords there were getting closer and closer, and it was likely that a war would break out in the near future... their commander had already requested support from the family headquarters from the high ranking sorcerers ......."

"...the Iroquois area has been fully owned by the family...Currently, there are 7 primary resource sites, 22 secondary resource sites, and 106 tertiary resource sites.... ..."

"...The number of witches affiliated with the family headquarters has reached 97, including 5 3rd rank witches, 26 2nd rank witches, and 66 1st rank witches..."

"...family resource input: this year's income from all magic crystals is summarized as: 2,179,780...the total amount of magic crystal expenditure is: 1,463,500.... ...The specific resources are listed below..."

One clan, one item, one door... Gargamel listed out the family affairs one by one according to what everyone cared about, simple and clear and intuitive. But many of the more detailed and comprehensive contents he didn't publish.

After all, it involved many of the core matters of the Crimson Family, and could only be taken out in a one-on-one individual report!

Right after Gargamel was the Fire Dragon Witch Meryl who was in charge of the Northland branch.

The Crimson Family's development in the Northlands is not very smooth, and it has been ignored and suppressed by the major witch factions. The most obvious manifestations of this were the Dark Witch and the Fraudulent Witch.

This also caused it to become extremely difficult for the Crimson Family to extend their power beyond the Ice Wind Collar!

However, the White Tower was backed by the Black Forest, where the area was vast and rich in resources, and even if the remaining few places were restricted, it could still bring a lot of magical resource gains within the family.

And in addition to these two direct territories, the Crimson Family also had two secondary planes with their own characteristics and rich resources. The Wind Witch Desera, who represented the Goblin Plane, and the Sub-Brain Sock, who represented the Lance Plane, also both briefly reported on the basic situation within their respective areas of control.

During the time that Grim had been away, the Goblin Plane had hoarded and refined 670,000 tons of magic alloys, enough to add another 20-30,000 metal magic weapons to the Crimson Family, or 12 floating giant ships, or two magic puppet dragons.

Only the Quillus alloys in Grim's possession are nearly depleted, and until new additions are obtained, these magical iron alloys and synthetic metals can only be stockpiled temporarily for future use.

The Lance Plane, with a 3rd level brain monster sitting on it, the Eternal Capital was a steel capital that would never fall.

Those Giant Dragon Lords had suffered enough from the Battle Demon Armament, but it was difficult to eliminate them all, so they could only choose to stay away from these foreign invaders.

A large number of dragon lords relocated further afield and also formed a small dragon alliance, which also tied the Crimson Family's dragon hunting team's hands, and their earnings began to plummet.

However, over the past twenty years or so, the Eternal Capital still had eleven dragons in the books, five of which were sold, and the remaining six were held in the Crimson Wings, undergoing sorcery transformation or domestication.

After these 'lords' of all sizes in various parts of the world had reported, it was the turn of those outlying powers or affiliated organizations.

Among them, Gunga, the demonic goblin leader and president of the Goblin Academy of Science, was the most euphoric, announcing three major pieces of information one after the other almost in the form of a roar.

The first one, the Goblin Academy of Science had developed a true magical energy amplifier.

This, however, was one of the most difficult thresholds for the Thor Titan that the Crimson Family secretly wanted to build.

The so-called magic energy amplifier was actually a magic weapon version of an elemental energy resonator. It was able to resonate the elemental energy flowing within the magic weapon with the free magic elements of nature, thus amplifying the effects of the magic energy attack.

Of course, the fact that the Goblin Academy of Science was able to develop it successfully was also inextricably linked to the Focusing Crystal effect that Grim had discovered earlier. Only, this success announced by Gunga had only been verified in the lab, and it would probably take a long time to polish and debug it if it wanted to be truly applied to the 6th stage creation Thor Titan.

The second article, the Wraith Exoskeleton Assisted Combat System.

Wizards had wizards to assist them, while goblins didn't have elemental talents, and couldn't perform elemental magic attacks even with the aid of a magic weapon.

However, the newly born Demonic Goblins were in between. Although they had no talent, they had mastered the use of magic energy by using their magical patterns.

Therefore, in order to increase the attacking power of these demonic goblins, Dean Gunga had devoted all his efforts to develop this Magic Armament Exoskeleton Battle Aid System. They were like a piece of magic weapon equipment that could be assembled one by one on the body of the demonic goblins, thus aiding them in their elemental-like spell attacks.

And Grim couldn't help but be greatly interested after hearing that.

If these Demonic Armament exoskeletons were somehow modified according to the size or elemental properties of a human sorcerer, would they be equally applicable to human sorcerers as well!

Without hesitation, Grim ordered Gargamel to assign some sorcerers and apprentices to work with Dean Gunga in order to figure out if this magical exoskeleton combat aid system was portable.

Third, the design drawings for the Thor Titan had been tentatively completed.

Dean Gunga began the much-needed application to Grim for the assembly and commissioning of the initial test machine.

Thor Titan, that was a powerful war demon weapon that could reach 6th level in its theoretical design. The amount of high-grade materials and rare resources needed to build such a weapon was astronomical, not to mention the countless technical problems that needed to be overcome one by one.

Not to mention, the Thor Titan's Energy Core alone required 3-5 Magic Melting Furnaces to share the work in order to drive it up. And to get it to fight at full power, Grim would have to build another Super Magic Melting Furnace.

After listening to Dean Gunga's application and speech, Grim pondered, backhanded a Knowledge Crystal from his storage ring, and slid it from the table to the old goblin's face.

"Don't be in a hurry to build it yet, but let's talk about it after you've digested and absorbed the knowledge in this crystal."

"My lord, what...what is this?" Dean Gunga held up the crystal in puzzlement.

"The basic principles of the Arcane Empire's energy dense nucleus..." said Grim lightly, "I'm afraid that in the item of deep application of basic energy, the Arcane Empire is one of the most solid and remarkable in the entire multiverse in terms of practical effects. I'm sure that if you understand their arcane theory, you'll be able to take your manipulation and application of magical energy to the next level!"

In the next moment, not to mention Dean Gunga, even the eyes of the other shamans looking at the crystal of knowledge became a little more eager and scorching.
