Age of Adepts

Chapter 1162 - Troll Camp

The Hazen Bit.

It was a troll tribe located deep in the mountains in the middle of the rolling forest and sea.

The fire of war had just been extinguished, and the distant vampire troops were rapidly clearing the battlefield.

Mary flapped her bat wings, hovering in the air one by one, with countless troll corpses stacked on top of each other in a huge stone square beneath her.

These trolls were all nearly three meters tall, with indigo skin, dense hair, two long fangs that poked out of their lips in anger, and red-tinted cranial sideburns. They are all very strong and sturdy, with particularly slender hands and feet, and use weapons such as sharpened wooden spears and a peculiar kind of pike dart.

These weapons are, of course, poisoned!

A paralyzing toxin extracted from the plant, a toxin as small as a tablespoon could easily put down a full-grown berserk elephant.

But unfortunately, such a hardened weapon would be virtually harmless to vampires!

Mary floated in the air, casually threw down a completely shriveled and withered corpse of a troll warrior, wiped away a trace of miserable green blood stains from the corner of her mouth, and began to slowly scan this lifeless troll camp.

The wound on her body also began to slowly close and heal under the lingering dense blood Qi....

In order to destroy the group of trolls as quickly as possible, Mary and Solus both broke into the troll camp straight from the beginning of the battle, and then used an almost insulting gesture to cut down the statue of the Feathered God that was erected in the middle of the stone square. With this, they had also completely enraged the entire troll tribe.

All the trolls, whether they were troll warriors dedicated to fighting, or ordinary troll women and children, came out of a wooden hut, shack, or straw den like they had gone mad, and attacked the two of them in a frenzy.

And Mary and Soros were standing frozen in the middle of the stone square, enduring wave after wave of crazy trolls' attacks. As for the vampire troops they had brought with them, they scattered around, concealing in dark corners and quickly destroying the straggling trolls.

Ordinary vampires were still too fragile after all!

Their thin bodies couldn't support the heavy metal harnesses, so all the vampires wore soft robes of smooth and sleek silks to keep their agility intact.

It was obvious that such clothes could not withstand the attacks of the trolls with great strength, so in order to reduce the casualties of the vampire's men, Mary, the blood lord, had to take part in the battle herself, bringing Soros to draw the attention of all the trolls to the two of them.

After all, Mary and Soros had reached the 3rd level and possessed the strange ability to attack with blood sucking attacks, being able to draw some of their power from the blood flowing out of their enemies' bodies. This also made them possess a near infinite amount of battle energy.

However, even so, the trolls' powerful, sharp spears and the whirling metal pike darts still left the two of them bruised and wounded.

The toughest thing about the troll clan wasn't their strong bodies, but their tough to terrifying life force.

Whether it was a broken limb or a large hole gouged out of their chest and abdomen, as long as their heads hadn't been cut off, they could continue their ferocious attacks.

In terms of overall quality alone, the adult trolls were qualified warriors regardless of their gender. Their physical qualities had already reached the standard of Tier 1 creatures, and coupled with their desperate fighting spirit, their strength was not inferior to that of ordinary Tier 2 creatures.

Even those who were a little less strong, old and weak women and children, all had extremely strong attack valley yawning hope and fighting skills.

If they were scattered into the mountains and forests to start a guerrilla war, even if the vampire ranks were expanded ten times more, it would be difficult to clear them out. So, in order to finish off the troll camp, which numbered 300 at once, Mary could only use herself as bait to tether the enemy to the center of this danger-free camp.

After a bloody battle, Mary's wounds were countless.

Looking around her slender, tall body, horrific wounds like a baby's mouth could be seen everywhere, and her skin had turned blue-purple with an overabundance of horrible toxins clearly accumulated on it.

Yet even so, Mary still managed to slay one incoming troll on the spot with the bee-stung dagger in her hand.

Injury for injury, blood for blood!

Mary's attacks were never so simple and direct, and their effects were incredibly high.

There were 183 adult troll warriors plus 133 ordinary trolls in the entire troll camp, and 207 of them had died directly or indirectly at the hands of Mary and Solus.

In particular, that Troll Chieftain with a strength as high as the 2nd Intermediate Tier had pierced Mary through the chest with a spear. However, its attack also completely infuriated Mary, the Queen of Blood.

Mary didn't cut off its head or pierce its heart, but completely bled it out with her swift form and furious stormy attack.

That once arrogant and incomparable Troll Chieftain was bleeding to death alive!

And none of its blood was spoiled, it was all absorbed directly by Mary with her blood aura and transformed into a terrifying blood sorcery that was thrown at the troll warriors.

Blood Drawing, Blood Rage, Blood Spear, Boiling Blood, Blood Flow Reversal....

As a peak 3rd stage Vampire Sorcerer, Mary combined blood energy and strange sorcery, and had already created a series of blood sorceries, each possessing terrifying battle power. Moreover, as the Blood Lord of all the Blood Knights and Blood Elves, Mary was able to grant these blood sorceries to her subordinates in a limited way.

This also enhanced the combat power of the vampire sorcerers from one side!

After all, if they only relied on their vampire instincts to fight, they would always be a group of vampires that were rejected by the witch community. But now with these blood sorceries, they could also toe the line and call themselves 'blood witches'.

In the distant mountains and forests, the chase continued.

When the number of trolls in the camp fell below 50, they finally cowered in fear and began to flee frantically into the mountains and forests.

Mary did not participate in the follow-up attack, but instead flapped her tattered bat wings and floated on top of the mountainous piles of troll corpses, drawing on the thick blood energy of the place while trying to recover from her wounds.

Whirling around, Solus, dressed in a suit of fine armor, stepped back from the distance with heavy footsteps, knelt down, and placed a hideous and horrifying troll's head in front of Mary's eyes.

It was the skull of an old troll!

Its facial skin was slack and wrinkled, the hair on the top of its skull was withered, its nose wore a single white beast's tooth, and two massive earrings dangled low from its two huge, golden earrings.

The old troll's eyes were wide open and its teeth were bared in a fierce and cruel manner....

However, what attracted the most attention was still the faintly lingering layer of magic halo on the skull.

The witch doctor of the Troll clan!

Seriously speaking, the witch doctors of the Troll clan were considered to be wielders who had mastered some of the elemental power.

It was just that they combined more of their elemental power with various biological herbs, forming an extremely unique way of mixing poison.

The greenish-purple toxin that Mary's body couldn't get rid of quickly was thanks to it.

After the death of the Troll Chieftain, seeing that the trolls were about to face their doom, this cunning and treacherous Troll Witch Doctor immediately ordered the trolls to disperse and flee, and he himself also mixed in with the fleeing group to avoid the pursuit of these terrifying enemies.

Unfortunately, its strange elemental power that it didn't know how to conceal could not be hidden from Mary and the others.

Mary stayed behind to recover, but sent the 3rd level Blood Knight, Solus, out to hunt down the Witch Doctor.

As expected, it only took a quarter of an hour for Soros to bring back the head of the troll witch doctor, who had the beginner's strength of 2nd rank.

However, after the bloodbath, the top of Soros's fine armor was full of pits and dents, and most of the armor spikes were bent and broken. The sticky, fetid purple blood of the trolls brushed his body, and even as he simply knelt there, a horrific swamp of blood quickly gathered beneath him, with a vague layer of shredded flesh and unknown organ fragments floating on top.

"Isa, it's yours! I need to know the location of the troll kingdom and the distribution of their tribes as soon as possible, in addition, what kind of strong people are in their communities, and I need to retrieve them all without missing a single one... "Mary towered above the sky and shouted harshly.

"Yes!"

From the nearby mountains flew swiftly a slender, graceful figure, also kneeling in front of Mary and responding loudly to the order.

Whirling around, Blood Elf Mage Isa rose to her feet, came over, took the old troll witch doctor's head, and fiercely brought it up to its hideous maw to kiss it, a look of ghastly madness appearing on her delicate, flowery face.

"Come, come... your blood, your life, your soul... everything belongs to me! Come and become one with me, and you will be reborn from this..."

With a creepy murmur, the old troll witch doctor, who was already dead, suddenly opened his mouth and whined wildly, his entire pale and ugly face filled with a cowering look of fear that could not be concealed.

And when the Blood Elf Mage Isa pursed her lips, countless miserable green fluorescents emerged from the old Troll Witch Doctor's skull and quickly disappeared within Isa's delicate red lips like a weary bird returning to the forest.

"Wicked wizards, you will suffer the violent wrath of Lord Feather God! I...even in death, I will curse you..."

A strange soul void emerged from the skull of the old troll witch doctor and began to frantically curse the blood elf in front of it. Unfortunately, it had now lost the ability to protect its soul, and could only whistle madly into a piece of firefly to be swallowed by the other party.

After the Blood Elf Mage Isa, who only had 2nd stage intermediate strength, swallowed the 2nd stage beginner's Old Troll Witch Doctor, her entire body also began to tremble uncontrollably. A strange toxin continued to erupt in her body, staining her originally fair and pink skin indigo.

However, how much power could a dead old witch doctor possess, so it only took Issa half a quarter of an hour to digest its soul and the accompanying memory of the shattered turnip soul.
