Age of Adepts

Chapter 1232 - Thor the Goblin

One month later....

The floating airships slowly drove into a massive air port.

Along with them, there were five other airships arriving at Bansai Harbor at the same time, each coming from a different surrounding area.

When the float docked smoothly on a soft lawn, many witches and wizards descended from their boats and joined the bustling and noisy crowd before them.

Grim and Billis also stepped down from the airship one after the other, and before they could take a panoramic view of the harbor, a small gnome with furry ears and green fur all over his body jumped in front of them.

"Lord Billis, is that you? I have seen you from afar in the family quarters, and you are as... eerie and frightening as you were then... It is my humble pleasure to meet you today in Bensaie Harbor... ...I wonder how long you plan to stay here, is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go..."

Like a fan who had met his idol, the little gnome pounced on Billis with a mindless but surprisingly loud chatter, so fast and emotional that even the two wizards couldn't get in half a sentence.

Before departing, Grim had indeed instructed Meryl to have the head of the family on this side of the world to come out and receive him. But even he hadn't expected that the person in charge of the Crimson Family assigned to this side of the Association's territory was a gnome.

And by the looks of it, it seemed to worship Billis beyond measure!

The worm wizard Billis had never been a loner and had little to do with the lower echelons of the family. Therefore, in the face of the enthusiastic goblins pouncing on him, Billis was clearly at a loss for words, and then became a little irritated.

With a light lift of his arm, a blade-like insect hand wrapped in a strange black armor landed on top of the little goblin's skull, immediately stopping the other party's torrents of chatter.

"Just shut up! From now on, I'll ask one question, you answer one. One more word, and I'll rip your brains out..."

A pair of small green bean-like eyes blinked and stared at the frightening green pupils under the shadow of Billis' hood.

The pupils of the eyes were also surrounded by many tiny compound eyes, densely packed, looking extraordinarily creepy.

"What's your name? In what capacity here?" Billis was cold.

"My name is Thor, and I'm the head of the Goblin Chamber of Commerce here..."

"The family informed you to pick us up?"

"Yes!" The little gnome swallowed.

"Who gave the direct order?" Billis's tone sharpened sharply.

"The one who gave me direct orders was the Kappy Grand Sage, and as for who within the family gave the Kappy Grand Sage his orders, I... I don't know!"

"What is the content of the family's notice?"

"The Great Sage of Cappy said that you are coming here to your trunk, Lord Billis, and put us in charge of receiving you properly. We know nothing else..."

"Well, well, take us back to the family compound here! Remember, keep a low profile..."

"Yes!"

Although he was a little surprised at Billis' ferocity, the little goblin Tor was clearly a seasoned veteran of the trade, and quickly forgot his previous displeasure and continued to happily lead the two to a bizarre goblin sports car.

Really, not even Grim had expected that what appeared in front of him would be a bizarre sports car that had undergone multiple modifications and possessed a strong goblin style.

A low red body without a roof, huge round metal wheels, shiny crystal windshields, and a bunch of giant rocket models welded on the back of the car's buttocks....

Even if the goblin sports car did not start the ignition, the exaggerated and bizarre shape of the car attracted many witches to stop and watch. But when they perceived the thick, almost materialized layer of blood on Billis' body, they averted their gaze, no longer daring to point fingers.

The air port was still more than ten miles away from the nearest witch city, and many witches mounted their mounts or summons and hitched their horses to the distance.

At one point, there were a host of ferocious birds such as giant bats, two-headed falcons, wind-cracking birds and bipedal flying dragons flying in the sky, and exotic witch beasts such as rhinoceroses, nightmare beasts, and multi-legged horses running on the ground. Even in the midst of the crowd, Grim saw a fellow riding a black-skinned boar, truly a maverick enough!

"My lord, look..." as soon as Billis saw the goblin sports car, he immediately had two heads. He was also secretly annoyed that these damn goblins didn't even seem to know the meaning of the word understated.

"Let's go, there's no need to keep it a secret when we're here. Besides, our whereabouts are already under their surveillance, so let's woo a little!" Grim looked around the surroundings and swept his gaze over the towering monitor tower in the distance, sensing several cold gazes that were always attached to it.

With a slight smile, Grim and the three of them successively boarded the red goblin sports car.

The goblin Thor fastened his windproof hat, put on his goggles, and turned back with a cheerful face to Billis, who was confined in the tiny seat, and said loudly, "Lord Billis, are you ready? Then we're off..."

With that said, and without waiting for Billis to answer, Thor hit the accelerator hard, and the giant rockets behind the buttocks of the goblin sports car sprayed backwards with long tails of crimson flame, before the three of them flew out with a whoosh of a terrifyingly powerful thrust.

Yes, it was flying out, not running out....

The violent propulsion of the flames shook the goblin sports car, causing the body to shake slightly, while the surrounding scenery instantly became somewhat blurred. If Grim hadn't grabbed a handful of the steel structure's keeled body and plunged his fingers deep into it to anchor himself down, the harsh wind blowing against him could have definitely thrown him into the tail flames behind the car.

Even Billis was able to secure himself on top of the seat with his arms out in unison, his knife-like worm hands thrusting raw into the steel. Even so, his hood was raised and flung behind him by the fierce wind, revealing his hideous, ugly bug body.

As soon as Billis tried to open his mouth to drink a curse, he was poured into his mouth by the fierce wind, instantly forcing his belly to bulge and his worm head to redden.

The goblin Thor, unaware of this, strapped himself securely to the seat with two straps, and was still yelling and screaming, pressing on the accelerator and steering without stopping.

The goblin sports car, propelled by the fire, spewed out thick black smoke, swirled up a high column of dust, and raced through the many witches like a road rage. Those wizards who were caught off guard hurriedly held up their shields, which prevented them from being roasted to cinders by the long, red tail of flame.

It wasn't until the smoking goblin sports car disappeared at the end of the long road that the witches who were choking and coughing from the dust broke out of the wall of dust in disarray, and then furiously found that the witch beast beneath them had been smothered in blackness and looked miserable.

"Bastards..."

"Go to hell..."

Various curses with strange accents were heard, but apparently they couldn't reach that perpetrator anymore.

..................

The top of the tall monitoring giant tower.

Several witches looked at each other.

"How did the Prophecy Wand react?" A middle-aged sorcerer at the head of the group said coldly.

"4th rank... the other party is definitely a 4th rank wizard!" The young wizard holding a charred wooden stick hurried to answer.

"Where's the monitoring crystal?"

"Red... the other side's energy response is the blinding red of a sea of fire!" Another wizard with a hand holding a strange magic water mirror also hurriedly bowed and replied.

"That means eight*nine percent!" The head wizard said sternly, "Immediately inform Lord Seamus that the visitor is indeed that legendary fire witch, and tell him to prepare early!"

"Yes!"

"Yes!"

The several witches agreed in unison and immediately split up to get busy.

"I don't know what he wants to do when he suddenly comes to our land..." The head sorcerer was still suspicious.

Just now, when they secretly scanned the mysterious sorcerer with the help of the Tower's power, the other party was also aware of it, and a spiritual tentacle filled with a burning sensation extended over, colliding with the Tower's internal defense formation 'slightly' before slowly retreating.

As the presiding one, this head sorcerer was naturally able to perceive the frightening nature of that burning will!

Shamans who could incorporate their elemental characteristics into their spiritual will, who could do this even within the Sorcerer's Association, could be considered the top-tier group.

Now that there was suddenly such a guy barging into the association's territory, no matter what the other party's intentions were, I'm afraid it would cause a big ripple within the association.

"Forget it, this matter is beyond my ability, let's leave it to those guys at headquarters to have a headache!" The head wizard sighed under his breath and turned around to leave silently as well.

...........

The goblin sports car is Judas gliding at top speed in mid-air five meters off the ground....

As the goblin Tor twisted the rudder without stopping, the bodies of the three people in the car swung rapidly, following the sports car as it trembled and shuddered together.

Although Worm Witch Billis had 3rd rank strength, he clearly wasn't used to this state of extreme speed.

The violent jolts and irregular terrifying tremors made his stomach toss like a tossing sea.

When that gnome Tor threw the rear end of the car around 170 degrees with a beautiful drifting overturn, Worm Witch Billis finally couldn't bear such a terrible toss, and his insect mouth opened, spewing out everything in his belly that hadn't been digested yet.

From a distance, a thin yellow mist spewed out from the red lightning, mixing with the dust that had been raised and slowly sprinkling the dust.

A quarter of an hour later, as the goblin sports car came to a screeching halt in front of a towering metal castle, Worm Witch Billis thundered off the road and ran to one side to puke up a storm.

Only Grim was sharp-eyed, and vaguely saw some remnants of human hand bones that hadn't been fully digested in the fetid, cloudy vomit....
