Age of Adepts

Chapter 1264 - Ice Cluster Jungle and Ice Crystal Mist

Ice vomit!

Incredibly pure, incredibly powerful....

There were no physical attacks mixed in it, nor were there any other elemental effects, and the only thing it possessed was extreme low temperatures and that bone-chilling cold!

That's enough against the enemies of the world!

In the end, Ice Spit is just a single attribute elemental effect, and Grim has seen far too many similar attacks. Whether it was the full force of a 2nd stage ice dragon, or the desperate backlash of that 4th stage ice giant leader, although the effects varied, the power was always within the limits framed by the laws of the bit.

But this cold spit in front of me... was clearly beyond the scope of what a rank 4 supernatural ability should be, and was somewhat closer to... the power of the gods.

Yes, it was... the might of the gods!

Gods were deities on high, possessing terrifying power that transcended the mundane, and naturally weren't limited by the rules and regulations of the bits. God's spells that were driven by divine power as their source were naturally ten or a hundred times more powerful than ordinary spells as well!

The Ice Bone Dragon Nax, the cold spit that pervaded the field, was not only huge in scope, but also immensely powerful, and it was imbued with a trace of the Law of Ice that was hard for normal people to resist.

Under the enveloping power of this strange law, no matter if you were a huge, massive creature, a powerful assassin with a body as fast as lightning, or a spell caster with a layer of spell glowing on top... as long as there was no protection from the law, you would not be able to resist the invasion and destruction of that hint of the law of ice.

Those low-ranked flame creatures and ghouls were frozen in the thick ice without even a chance to resist, and then became fragmented as the ice broke apart.

The ground was filled with white corpses frozen into ice, no blood, no screams, only the cold breath of the tumbling and surging endlessly.

The powerful undead knights and mid to high level flame creatures were still barely able to struggle in the ice. However, they did not have the ability to fight against the Laws of Ice, so they shattered into ice chips as the ice broke apart and disintegrated.

The undead knights whose bodies broke into countless pieces were not completely dead, they were still struggling, still trying to get rid of the frost and put their bodies back together. After the flame creatures collapsed, the original flame body disappeared without a trace, leaving only a burning flame core in its place.

The Flame Heart Core was burning inside the ice, trying to melt the ice with the temperature of the flame, allowing its body to grow back....

Nearly two thousand powerful legions made up of flame creatures and elite undead had disintegrated and vanished in a cold spit of ice.

Looking around, the number of guys still surviving and barely visible in the arena was no more than ten fingers, it was miserable to say the least!

However, after the cold bone dragon Naxx spat, the blue frost mass on its body made of ice crystals and bones was also a little lighter. Looking at its appearance, it seemed that such a wide range of attacks was also very burdensome for it.

The outer edge of the battlefield.

There were a few explosions in quick succession.

Ice crystals burst and cold air overflowed....

Grim, Congenas, and Tulas broke free of the ice crystals outside their bodies, revealing themselves once again. The Sand King, on the other hand, had already burrowed underground to escape the horror. The snake woman, Silkina, on the other hand, was frozen on top of an icicle by the rampaging extreme cold freezing Qi, as if she was an ice sculpture and could no longer move a single muscle.

She was not as strong as the Sand King, able to break free of the ice crystal with flesh* body strength alone. But after a strange flash of bright light, the blue color of the ice crystals condensed on the surface of Silsina's body faded and turned into a grayish-white powder that peeled off all over the place.

The ice crystals were forcibly freed from the restraints of the ice crystals, and the pretty mouth of Silsina opened slightly, spat out a mouthful of black blood, fiercely glared at the huge ice bone dragons that were still clawing and clawing in the ice crystal mist, turned around with a flicker and disappeared within the main hall.

Above such a chaotic battlefield, Grim didn't send the Shadow Demon out to attack the Ice Bone Dragon, but rather had it guard its side closely to protect its safety.

This Ice Bone Dragon Naxx had clearly fused with half of the Box of Harsh Winter, and its terrifying power was no longer comparable to that of an ordinary 4th rank creature. Fighting with such a fellow, it would be easy to draw its attack power to oneself if it was too high-profile.

This was clearly something Grim would never want!

But it's okay to behave appropriately.

Grim waved his sorcerer's staff and in one breath condensed hundreds of scorching fireballs to wildly smash into the bone dragons hiding in the depths of the ice crystal mist.

The magnitude of its sound and the ferocity of its attack was simply eye-catching.

The cold bone dragon that had just exhaled and was searching around for its next opponent was immediately caught by the violent fireball, and two groups of cold, star-like eerie manes penetrated out from the depths of the mist and landed on Grim.

In the next moment, the mists exploded.

Nax's powerful and fierce body rushed out, its narrow dragon's kiss open, viciously biting at Grim.

One was a huge cold bone dragon that was thirty-five meters long, twelve meters tall, and weighed tens of tons....

One was two meters tall and weighed no more than two hundred kilograms of flesh and blood....

If two guys who are so different from each other collide, the only result will be a crushing defeat for the weaker one and mud for the weaker one!

Grim wasn't so foolish as to be crazy enough to go head to head with such a huge creature, and dodged out with a flaming leap, manifesting himself in another corner of the great hall a thousand meters away.

And the first moment he surfaced was when he waved his wand and summoned a huge storm of red flame to throw at the Ice Bone Dragon.

The body of the cold bone dragon Nax was too large, and naturally there was a situation where it couldn't move and turn.

As soon as it rotated its body and re-locked onto Grim's position, the huge red flame storm exploded with it at its center.

A thick pillar of fire rose into the sky, and the tumbling, boiling flames swept across a huge space of nearly three hundred meters square around it. The extreme heat and terrifying flames set everything in the world on fire, even the air and ice crystals began to burst into flames.

As a top fire sorcerer, every flame sorcery that Grim inspired could attach the corresponding flame law at will. And to impress a giant monster like Nax, flame penetration was essential!

Otherwise, without the Flame Law, no matter how fierce the flames in the world were, even if Nax was thrown into the sea of fire and boiled for half a year, they would not be able to injure him in the slightest.

Only the flames with the power of the laws attached could penetrate the ice crystal mist that was spread on Nax's body and transmit a tiny bit of flame damage to its huge and strong body.

Of course, the damage was only a tiny bit....

But Nax's enemies weren't the only ones that had Grim.

Just as the Ice Bone Dragon was frantically chasing after Grim, large clusters of dense dead air and strange phantom runes fell on its dragon body at the same time.

Where the deadly qi was spreading, the ice crystals melted and the cold qi was gone.

The bones on the outer edges of the bones and the icy force field were eroded, showing signs of blackening and decay.

The psionic rune was even more miraculous, ignoring any protection outside the bone dragon's body and drifting directly into the inside of the dragon's bone, causing the cold ice breath surging inside to stir for a good while.

If it wasn't for the terrifying cold ice force field condensed in Nax's body, with a strong spiritual energy attached to it, which offset some of the pyloric energy damage, I'm afraid that Tulas would be able to directly break up the cold ice force in the bone dragon's body through the pyloric rune and churn it into a terrifying chaotic energy.

And chaotic energy was a terrifying poison for any bit creature!

The poison of energy!

Nax raised the dragon's neck and let out a resonant roar, but there was also a hint of overwhelming pain in the roar.

Four hundred years...four hundred years...the last time I had tasted pain was four hundred years ago.

But now, there was another group of bastards who had barged into his bedroom, injured his noble body, and wanted to seek out his beloved treasure that exceeded his life....

At the thought of this, Nax couldn't hold back the furious rage, wanting to use his cold and merciless dragon's breath to turn his enemies into an ice sculpture, and then crush them into slag with his great body.

Nax roared furiously, his eyes flickering with blue mane, and the powerful power of ice immediately pervaded the entire Ice Temple.

The floor of the Ice Palace that was as hard as steel and smooth as a mirror one moment, shook violently the next and rose and fell like waves.

A single ice cream spike broke through the ice, instantly turning the place into a sea of ice clusters.

The tall, hard jungle of ice clusters occupied most of the space and obscured everyone's view. The shining cold mane and thousands of refracted reflections made people become overwhelmed, making it difficult to determine the true location of the Ice Bone Dragon.

The Ice Crystal Mist that diffused the entire space also apparently had the effect of diminishing and refracting mental perception, and was able to effectively suppress the visual senses and mental perception of several intruders.

This was, after all, Nax's battle home.

Every inch of space here was familiar to it, and every scent here was well known to it. Therefore, once their perceptions were blocked, the few invaders who had invaded the Ice Temple lost their advantage in teamwork, and instead became targets of the Bone Dragon's indiscriminate hunting.

The weakest snake woman, Silkena, immediately became nervous, her head full of writhing snake hair swallowing terrifying snake letters, instantly taking control of all possible incoming directions of the surrounding enemies for her.

On the other hand, she herself concealed her scent and quietly swam above the ice pillars and the roof of the temple.

Below her, the jungle of ice clusters was thick with mist, and thousands of twisted and strange figures were shaking violently, making it difficult to distinguish which one was real and which one was fake, let alone determine the real location of the other party.

The thinly built Starling Tulas, on the other hand, transformed his entire body into a cloud filled with strange light, slowly merging with the Ice Crystal Mist, never to be found again.

Seeing this, Grim sprinkled a smile and a roll of flames, his body also disappeared under the protection of the 'Flame Invisibility' law.

Immediately, the only person left in the scene was that Witch Demon Kangenas!
