Age of Adepts

Chapter 1300 - Main Line of Destiny

"Lord Krsuna, you see today..." the 3rd rank pale witch Julia asked in a low voice.

"Tell all your men to behave themselves, it's too crowded here today. No matter what, none of our people can show their faces easily!" Krsuna looked around, then up at the sky with a look of stark solemnity.

"Have all the other wizarding groups sent people?" Julia snapped to attention.

"More than..." raised Krsna's face, her delicate, cold face showing a grim smile, her eyes staring at a few small black dots that hovered and circled uncertainly over the gravel canyon, and said coldly, "I can't believe it! And even these transcendent guys are here!"

Julia followed Krsuna's distant gaze and could barely make out the few unusually majestic eagles. But other than that, nothing could be seen.

However, to be able to become a 3rd rank witch, Julia's knowledge and breadth of insight was beyond what ordinary people could match. From Krsuna's tone of voice and the few words she used, she quickly determined the origin of those giant eagles.

"Great...my lord...they are...are... "

"Just so you know, you don't have to name them! Otherwise, the Fate Connection will draw their attention to it... These guys who just like to hide behind Fate, huh, are the most annoying voyeurs!"

But whirling Krsuna bet on another area, where she vaguely sensed a soul that disgusted her immensely.

Severus... damn, how did those old guys in the Wizard's Association let this slayer out? With him stirring the pot here, I'm afraid it will be hard for anyone to get out of today's incident easily....

At the thought of this, Krsuna's gaze became condensed, while her cold white body wrapped in brown leather armor even more turned out a bone-chilling coldness, instantly making this place into a deadly gloomy place of death.

In the sky above the gravel canyon, several unusually stealthy eagles were circling and whirling unceasingly, raising their necks from time to time to let out a long song or two that resounded across the world.

The giant eagle incarnated by Indar flew high above the vault of the sky, and from his perspective, the five-mile-long gravel canyon was like a short line of gray stone. In front of the canyon, the battle between the two tall giants who laid down their lives was nothing more than a fight between two slightly stronger and lesser ants in his eyes.

While he was flying in circles without stopping, perceiving a terrifying aura below him that seemed like a dark sun, a human face made purely of smoke condensed before him appeared.

"Indar, how is the situation there?"

"Tower Lord, it's been over half a month since we arrived here. A witch war has just broken out here at the highest level, and as you can see right now, two guys with super strength are fighting for control of the central part of the country for the next few hundred years..."

"Indar, I've told you many times not to be blinded by unexpected events outside of the main Fate line. Your task is to find that Fate blessed fellow, and observe and document how the forces of Fate drive the progress of the bits! Other than that, we shouldn't get involved in any witchy rivalries or witchy power hazing..."

"Understood, Tower Lord, we followed your instructions to do just that. However... the forces of fate eventually led us here. After arriving in the middle of the continent, I assigned out all the members of the Eagle Group to track down and scout out powerful organizations or individuals that could affect the situation in the middle. And today, all the members of the Eagle Group have arrived here under the pull of the Force of Destiny... Your Excellency, this place has now become a place where the Force of Destiny converges, and a great event that will soon change the fate of the central continent is about to be born!"

"What? The forces of destiny have begun to converge? No, I'm going to project the all-seeing eye right now...make all your people shine, pick up a quill and write to your heart's content! We won't encounter a few good opportunities like this in our lifetime..."

The old man who was usually the most wise and steady became instead the most hyper and insane one at this time. He waved his arms unceasingly, narrating his excitement as if he were in suspense.

A moment later, a tiny vertical slit suddenly split open between the eyes of the giant eagle Indar had transformed into, opening its mouth to reveal a rotating, nimble, strange eye.

"Destiny... Destiny... I see destiny... This small land has gathered so many powerful guys with the Fate branch! ...damn it, let me count...one...two...three. ...Bastard, why so many! There are even seven Destiny's Children here..."

"Seven? No way!" Indar listened to the strange fluctuations that overflowed from the third eye and couldn't help but wonder, "Lord Tower Lord, shouldn't there be only one Destiny Child?"

"Hmph, foolishness, ignorance... Indar, you've been in the Prophet's Gauntlet for so long, and have tracked and recorded so many great events that have taken place all over the Plane, why do you still have such a stupid question... "The third odd eye dripped around and said, "Do you think the forces of fate are going to fall in love with just one person for the rest of their lives like those stupid girls in love?"

"When you feel as if your life is all-seeing and all-devouring, the forces of fate naturally love you and place boundless expectations on you. But these acquisitions do not come without a price! Any guy who has been favored by fate is a facilitator chosen by fate, and their purpose of existence is to push the entire world process in some pre-determined direction and trajectory..."

"But once they have fulfilled their historical mission, do you think fate will continue to favour them until they are old? It could be politely said that every single one of the guys who had once flaunted their existence in the long history of the throne was once the lucky one chosen by fate. Each one of them could be considered a child of fate at some point... but once their mission is complete, fate will flow again and turn its attention to the next new favorite who can continue to move the world forward..."

"So, for these guys, we can either call them Destiny's Children or Destiny's Outcasts! Their worth, their lives, are in the hands of destiny on high! We, on the other hand, are eyes that wander away from the long river of destiny. This is our mission, and our glory!"

Listening intently to the truths of destiny as told by the old tower master, Indar couldn't help but ask, "So... who is the lucky one in this great change today that destiny has favored?"

"Do not be confused by worldly forces and powers, go close your eyes and quietly comprehend the flow of the power of fate. And the place where the forces of fate converge is the one..." the Strange Eye was rambling on and on about the great truth when its spiritual words suddenly fluctuated violently, "Damn damn damn damn... ...what's going on? Why are so many people covered in the Mists of Fate?"

The Omniscient Eye rotated slowly, and when its sight fell somewhere in the canyon, a fellow whose entire body was shrouded in a dazzling red mane revealed himself.

The other party seemed to be in some kind of strange sorcery invisibility.

He couldn't help but stare up at the giant eagle without noticing any danger or threat before withdrawing his gaze and continuing to focus on the battle in the distance.

The moment this sorcerer manifested in the eyes of the Omniscient Eye, the strange eye embedded in the spire burst into a strange dazzling light above the tower of the Prophet of the Sky City, which was more than a hundred thousand miles away.

Unfortunately, without waiting for that old tower master to see the main thread of fate on the other side, a thick mist came from all directions and completely covered the other side again.

"Hmph, it's Severus! He was one of the most vicious of the super-powered Witch Association. Since the association had released him, it must have wanted him to stir up trouble in the middle. He reeked of that voyeuristic Mastan! Mastan isn't very good as a prophet, but it's still possible to obscure a wizard's main line of destiny with the power of fate for a short time. Forget it, give up on him! We'll just look for the next one..."

The giant eagle soared and circled in the sky, and soon searched the entire battlefield.

"Tatas of the Silver Alliance is here, as is Krsuna of the Witch of the North... Eleven 4th rank witches from the central region are here, seven gathered together, and four more scattered and hiding in different regions.... "

"Judging by the trends in the flow of the forces of fate, none of them are the protagonists of the day! Today's protagonist looks to be one of the two in the battle... Come on, Indar, let's go meet this Destiny of the Day!"

With that said, the giant eagle no longer hesitated, flapping its broad wings, it spread its wings and flew towards the main battlefield that was still in the midst of an epic battle.

By now, it had become a doomsday world!

Once the two strong men who were at the peak of the world unbridledly attacked, the destruction caused to this world that existed within it was too great.

The entire nearly four hundred miles of the Noble Space had been devastated, and life had been scattered all over it. Looking around, there were wildly rampaging magical elements everywhere, spatial disorder caused by the collision of laws, and bizarre scenes formed after the mutation of the laws of heaven and earth....

The once dark and oily earth had dried up and cracked, and the soil had turned into a strange substance resembling ceramics and crystals. The cracked earth was steaming with terrifying heat from inside the cracks, and the dark red sticky liquid magma was rumbling and flowing underground, converging into small lava pools inside the deep craters left by the many lava fireballs that had burst.

The earth was still so miserable, and the sky was densely covered with a dark red scar, from which emitted a terrifying void hurricane and chaotic energy that devoured everything.

And just inside this apocalyptic scene comparable to a natural disaster, two tall giants, one gold and one fire, were fighting to the death.......
