Age of Adepts

Chapter 1316 - Slaughtering Dragons Like Killing Dogs

"Dodge...dodge...all of you, maneuver at high speed!"

The leader of the Swamp Flying Dragon Troop was a real sorcerer, and even his scalp was numb and his heart was pounding when he saw such dense fireballs of black smoke trailing their tails as they bombarded over.

Driven by his madness, the Swamp Flying Dragon King beneath him raised his neck, restrained his wings, and his entire body weaved and dodged through the dense fireballs like an arrow, struggling to charge against the trend towards the floating giant ship.

Behind it, a single companion was also maneuvering wildly to dodge it.

Unfortunately, the energy fireballs were so dense that it was impossible to dodge one or two of them, or a group of them... There were also a few swamp flying dragons that collided with each other due to panic.

For a while, the sound of fireballs bursting, swamp dragons shrieking in pain, and the loud shouts of the Sorcerer's apprentices were intertwined together, resounding into a chaos.

Boom boom boom....

A series of fireball bursts triggered terrifying flame shockwaves and made the battlefield environment even worse and more unpredictable. A swamp flying dragon crashed into the fireball, and its flight path went haywire, immediately detonating more energy fireballs.

A brilliant cloud of fireworks exploded in mid-air.

In an instant, more than twenty swamp dragons were blown to pieces, along with the sorcerer apprentices on their backs, and the sight was spectacular with large pieces of flying dragon corpses and purple dragon blood spilling down.

And more swamp flying dragons rushed up into the sky against the magic shield, closing in on the floating giant ship.

At this moment, the edge of the floating giant ship's port side was already filled with metal magic weapons that were standing in strict readiness. They held up their energy shields and activated the magic cannons densely packed on their bodies, waiting for the enemy to arrive.

The range of the magic energy cannons had reached seven hundred meters, far beyond the spitting distance of the Swamp Flying Dragon's venom. Therefore the first wave of attacks was opened by the metal magic weapons.

The three floating ships were arranged in a zigzag pattern, with the flagship Vassailo slightly behind.

As the Swamp Flying Dragons humped the Sorcerer's Apprentice and struggled to beat their wings to charge into the firing range, small energy fireballs dense as a rainstorm shot out from the sides of the three ships in unison.

The sorcerer who had just rushed up to the skies was chilled, and the depths of his horrified, wide-open pupils mapped out the densely packed energy fireballs smashing in from the opposite side.

The previous magical energy fireball flurry was only about three hundred rounds, and although it looked dense, there was still a considerable gap between the fireballs that could be inserted and dodged. However, the flurry of firecrackers in front of him formed a real rain of fireballs, and there was no possibility of dodging them by virtue of his body shape and positioning.

He immediately did not hesitate to activate the 'Shield Gem' that was about to save up sweat in his hand.

In the next moment, a full-coverage witchcraft shield enveloped him and the Swamp Flying Dragon King beneath him. And as soon as the shield was created, dense fireballs exploded into a rolling sea of fire in front of his eyes.

In an instant, a dozen Swamp Flying Dragons fell down into the sky with a miserable hiss.

"Break away from the opponent's attack range... Break away from the opponent's attack range... Fly to high altitude and then launch a dive attack!"

The Swamp Flying Dragon King desperately circled and pulled up under the command of the wizard, finally overtaking the floating giant ship and soaring above his opponent's head. At this angle, the magic cannons on the floating giant ship were already having difficulty attacking him, and only the metal magic weapons arrayed in a line on the wide flight deck were able to raise their arms and continue to chase after him with dense fireballs.

Circling around the other man's head, dodging an incoming fireball, the wizard frantically pulled a strange seed from his arms and smashed it into the flight deck.

The seeds were only the size of a fist, light and barely weighing anything.

As they drifted with the wind and landed on top of the flight deck, a tender green sprout peeked out from within. Don't look at these sprouts as pink and tender, but their penetrating power was no weaker than that of a high level demon possession weapon.

The green sprout pierced into the half-meter thick metal deck with a downward thrust, and quickly dug and extended inside. This was the special feature of this strange magical strain that it would not eat or devour anything.

With the help of the metal material it devoured, the strange magic strain swiftly expanded and grew, quickly turning into a powerful life form that resembled a metal octopus.

They waved their ten-meter-long metal tentacles, rampaging across the flight deck, knocking down a metal magic weapon, or entwining them and smashing them out as meteor hammers.

The metal magic weapons quickly mobilized, gathered from all directions, and beat the metal octopus to pieces and broken stems with a frantic suppression of firepower. It was a pity that this strange magic strain was exceptionally resilient, even though it was beaten into a sieve it was still alive and well. Without wiping out that bit of demonic consciousness in its metal head, it simply wouldn't die.

For a time, the entire flight deck was stirred up by them!

Grrrrr....

A sharp arrow burst.

A strangely shaped magical arrow sliced through the chaotic battlefield of nearly a hundred meters, passing through the dozens of metal tentacles of the metal octopus waving in the air, and piercing straight into the shining metal luster of the large head.

In the next second, the arrow burst and soaring magical flames spewed out from various cracks of the octopus's head. This powerful magic strain that was flaunting before instantly went limp, and the metal materials it had absorbed scattered all over the floor. The half-metal, half-plant demonic body turned into a puddle of sticky green liquid in the blink of an eye, corroding the metal deck beneath it.

Sandor, who was already at the 2nd Intermediate level of strength, appeared suddenly on the flight deck, holding a strange-looking metal longbow with strange patterns painted on it. She looked back and gave a loud command to the dozen or so men following behind her.

"You guys stay on the deck and slowly clean up these metal octopuses... Hmph, I'm going to kill the ones who started it!"

The people of the world are all the same, and they are all the same, and they are all the same, and they are all the same.

As soon as she said that, Magic Archer Sandor came to the edge of the flight deck with a few leaps, her slender feet stirred, and her entire body flew straight up like a hawk. At this time, the sorcerer who was riding on the Swamp Flying Dragon King just flew over, and when he saw Sandra, who was flashing like lightning, he immediately waved his magic wand without hesitation.

A terrifying black smoke immediately wrapped around her body.

She was able to get her hands on the wand, and she was able to get her hands on the wand. And with a swing of the giant bow in her hand, a magic burst arrow immediately shot in front of the sorcerer like lightning.

With a 2nd rank intermediate against a 1st rank advanced, such a battle was almost without any suspense!

The Magic Burst Arrow instantly nailed into the wizard's forehead, then exploded the entire head like a crushed watermelon into a sprawling blood sauce.

The swamp flying dragon king had just raised his neck and wailed, but before swooping down, he only felt his body sink and was snatched up by Sandor on his back.

The sword was then tossed into the air and the head of the flying dragon tumbled into the sky. Sandor stepped on the corpse of the falling dragon, her eyes scanned the sky to find her next target and then rushed over with one leap.

Halfway through, the magic bow shook, and another magic burst arrow stabbed the back of a swamp flying dragon with lightning speed. In the next second, the arrow burst, and the Sorcerer's Apprentice on top immediately fell screaming into the sky.

His body and Sandor intersected in mid-air, and another human head flew high in the air with a cold flash of lightning. And Sandor was already stomping on their remains and leaping high into the air again.

Sandor brought out the Blood Elf Magic Archer's agility and magic attack to the fullest, literally like slaughtering cats and dogs, knocking down a swamp flying dragon, a sorcerer's apprentice, into the sky and then beheaded them one by one.

The slaughter... it was a barely coherent slaughter!

With a hundred or so swamp flying dragons and fully armed sorcerer apprentices, it wouldn't be a problem to defeat a medium-sized human kingdom. But on top of the Wizard Battlefield, it had vanished without even a single large splash of water.

The Lokor City Sorcerer's Gauntlet was, in the end, just a regional city, and to have a Sorcerer's army of this size was already considered invaluable.

After the Swamp Flying Dragon troops were swept away, the Sorcerer Tower Gauntlet lost its defensive power to continue its fight against the Crimson Fleet, and could only surround itself tightly with a dense protective force field, never daring to send anyone out to fight again.

Thus, the Crimson Fleet put down the Magic Armament Battle Group, which numbered up to over three hundred, and with the air power began to sweep the entire Rockall City.

It had to be said that the army of the mundane human kingdom didn't even have the strength to fight back when facing a real sorcerer army.

More than three hundred Demonic Armament Warriors advanced forward in formation, and a round of artillery fire destroyed the walls of Rockall City. As for the mundane guards of Rockall City, in the face of hundreds of indestructible, steel-like, tall metal magic weapons, they simply crumbled without even the courage to fight.

This was actually the opposite of a good thing!

Once they were hardhearted enough to besiege the Demon Armament Warband, perhaps the Crimson Fleet wouldn't be so polite anymore. The three floating giants could destroy nearly half of the city's buildings with only two or three rounds of attack, and by then, the inhabitants of Rokol would surely be buried along with the Entom family.

After dispersing the guards of the city, the Magician Armor Corps dispersed into small groups and began to advance along the streets towards the Witch Tower. And three floating giant ships hovered above them, acting as an umbrella.

As the floating giant ships approached, they exchanged attacks with each other and the Sorcerer's Tower.

With the presence of the Magical Motion Furnace, each floating giant ship was no weaker than a Sorcerer's Tower. With three against one, the opponent was obviously trapped in a defensive position and had little counterattack power.

The reason why Crimson Fleet sent ground troops was to wear down the reserve energy in the Witch Tower faster. Before the energy of the Tower was exhausted, even if the Crimson Fleet was large in number, it would be difficult for them to enter the Tower, which had a perfect attack and defense system.

And so, the uphill battle was fought!
