Age of Adepts

Chapter 1391 - Clash of Iron and Blood

As pure creatures of the Abyss, demons are repelled by almost all of the Prime Material Plane.

The forces of evil, chaos, and filth that they represent are no less than gut-piercingly poisonous to all Master Matter Plane creatures, and can even directly corrupt the souls of Master Matter Plane creatures.

Souls killed or devoured by demons, even if they are believers of the gods, cannot remain in the upper planes and will fall to the Abyssal World just like those souls that are dirty and filthy in nature, where they will be tortured by all kinds of harsh environments.

The more they kill, the more they contaminate the world. The more they killed and the more souls they polluted, the richer the Abyssal Will feedback they would receive upon returning to the Abyssal World in the future.

It was so difficult to advance to the next level in other bit worlds, and they needed to keep toughening their minds and bodies and saving up energy before they could gamble with the ethereal will of the bit. The Abyss Demons, on the other hand, were incredibly simple and straightforward to advance, and as long as they could keep killing and plundering soul energy, they would be able to ascend upwards endlessly.

Therefore, if one was lucky enough, it might only take three to two years for an Abyssal Demon to evolve from the most elementary Abyssal Larva to a 4th stage Higher Demon.

Such a swift growth time and such a simple and straightforward route to advancement also allowed Abyssal Demons to not bother thinking and researching anything, and instead just focus on killing and devouring.

Thus it had to be said that Abyssal Demons were extremely terrifying killers compared to most of the creatures on the surface!

With the death of a large number of demons on the battlefield ahead, their flesh and carcasses turned into a stream of black water that continuously infested and defiled the land. Invariably, the initial demonicization process had already been completed around the Great Spatial Rift.

As a result, the Abyssal breath spilling out through the rift repelled the Sorcerer's World's bit laws further away, and made this battlefield become more and more like the barren and fierce Abyssal Plane.

Fighting on such a battlefield, the human sorcerers would enjoy less and less bit-level blessings, while the Abyssal Demons, who existed as invaders, were suffering from rapidly diminishing bit-level suppression.

With this addition and subtraction, the gap between the two sides' battle strengths would grow wider and wider!

After a long period of recharging, the magic energy cannon on the Vassailo's floating giant ship was once again ready. As a thick red mane pierced through the long sky, the energy beam once again ricocheted towards the demonic lord who ruled the battlefield.

Unfortunately, this mighty strike was dodged by a simple instantaneous movement of Phineus.

The energy pillar passed by, melting a deep hole in the black and sunken earth.

And with only a strong flesh* body recovery, the Demon Lord Phineus had initially repaired the one meter diameter hole in his chest. And its injuries had also changed from 'serious' to 'light'.

If it was given some more time, I'm afraid that even the last bit of its injuries would be obliterated. By then, Phineus would be another terrifying ferocious demon with astonishing battle strength.

The demonic creature's incredibly strong recovery ability really wasn't comparable to that of a bit creature!

The Great Space Rift was continuously swallowing all kinds of demons, including the chattering little demons, horned demons, and fire-throwing monsters, as well as intermediate demons such as Fromme, Berserk Demons, Succubus Demons, and Red Inferno Demons.

These guys, who normally would fight and devour each other when they met, had become battlefield allies under the suppression of the Demon Lord, Phineus. Although they still didn't like each other, there was no large-scale internal killing going on.

They gathered together according to their groups and temperaments, and their ranks gradually grew thicker and thicker.

Most of the Abyssal Demons were kicking and snarling at Phineus, rushing righteously towards the war witch tower that was forested in the distance. The remaining ones, however, couldn't hold back their violent ecstasy, sniffing the unique scent of the main material plane and following the scent of the blood and flesh delicacies as they slipped towards the outskirts.

They couldn't wait to explore this beautiful world filled with the fragrant scent of food!

If these Abyssal Demons were to be allowed to scurry into human society, even a mere 1 or 2 little guy would probably be able to cause an unpleasant situation for the people.

After all, the difference in strength between ordinary humans and these Abyssal Demons was too great.

Moreover, on the one hand, there was the Hundred Battles Demon crawling out of the mountain of corpses and the sea of blood, and on the other hand, there was the barefoot farmer who had picked up a knife and fork... Even if the latter were a thousand times more numerous, it wouldn't change the miserable fate of being hunted and devoured.

A group of even small white rabbits armed to the teeth couldn't compete with a lion or tiger!

Seeing that the situation was somewhat turned upside down by the demons, that Captain Locke on the Vassailo waved his hand, and a Demon Armament Battle Corps numbering 700 people roped down from the floating giant ship to the ground, and then formed a tightly formed battle corps and advanced towards the front of the battlefield.

There were 700 people in total, including 500 PG-52 battle demons and over 200 goblin mechanic warlocks.

Unlike the Wraith Beasts, they didn't also need to fight Abyssal Demons in close quarters. As clear and long-range firepower, from the moment they stepped onto the battlefield, the Mark II-type magic cannons, magic rapid-fire cannons, quadruple-mounted magic ray guns, and honeycomb goblin missiles on their bodies began to fire continuously.

That ferocious firepower, that powerful long-range artillery fire, that every Abyssal Demon that came into their attack range was smashed into a sieve and blasted into pieces of flesh and blood. For a time, the sound of cannons rumbled and rays rained down, suppressing the demons that had just gained a slight advantage once again.

A rank 3 berserk war demon of up to 4 meters in size immediately rushed over with bloodshot eyes when it saw how arrogant the Demonic Armament Battle Group was. As it rushed, it raised its hand to point over the Demonic Armament Battle Group.

In the next second, black and red fire clouds rolled, and a meteor fireball whistled down from the sky.

Meteor Fire Rain!

A very simple 3rd level fire class spell.

The attack power was not as powerful as a 3rd class Fire Witch, but it was enough to mess up the enemy's formation and disrupt their attacking pace. When encountering enemies whose magic resistance wasn't that strong, I'm afraid that just this 3rd class spell would be enough to wipe out half of them.

Faced with the powerful demons' counterattack, the Weaponry Battle Crew also instantly showed their high battle quality.

The few metal weapons at the front of the battle put away their long-range weapons and pulled out their metal battle axes or twin blades from their backs, charging head-on into the berserk demon. The metal demons behind the decorations even lifted their cannons and blasted a fire meteor into the air with an intense fire saving shot.

Even the fire clouds halfway up in the sky were blown apart by the goblin missiles flying in, losing their ability to gather fire meteors.

The more central battle armaments of the group continued to advance regardless, braving the fine rain of fire sprinkled by Lynn as they fired heavily.

That rank 3 Berserk War Demon was hit by long-range fire before it could even engage, dripping blood. And sudden a battle, it is strong force to a magic weapon smashed to pieces, sparks straight out, it can also be a swarm of magic weapon warriors overturned on the ground, cut off the head, severed limbs.

And this scene fell in the eyes of the Alden Family Shamans, but it also shook their hearts and caused them to float a bit.

One had to know that a rank 3 Mad Battle Demon, due to its dual cultivation of Demon and Martial Arts, combining both instantaneous class spells and strong physical *body* strength, could fight even a rank 4 Sorcerer for several rounds.

It was reasonable to say that such a powerful evil demon simply couldn't be stacked to death by lowly creatures simply by virtue of numbers. But on the battlefield in front of him, this Stage 3 Berserker Demon had been defeated by a group of metal demons whose average level was no more than Stage 2 Intermediate.

And this group of demonic weapons was relying on their ferocious, long-range firepower!

If you switch the object of the war, it's a 3rd level wizard fighting against this magic weapon. How long would this 3rd level sorcerer last, and how many magic weapons could he kill before he died?

With a simple estimation, all the Alden family witches were sweating coldly and their hearts were pounding wildly.

Zero!

If the two sides were to fight head on, I'm afraid that the 3rd ranked Sorcerer would be blown through the protection of the Magic Armament and be smashed into a sieve if he couldn't kill a single Magic Armament.

Of course, if you can be a bit nasty, a 3rd ranked wizard can fight and retreat, unleash a high level sorcery and then turn around and run away, and then sneak back to find a chance to unleash a high level wizard when the time is over....

With such a means, it was possible to slowly wear down this Magic Armament Battle Corps that didn't have a high-ranking sorcerer to press against it.

However, such a hypothesis was based on the assumption that the party's sorcerers were able to recover quickly, while the opposing battle group had no means to follow up. Once the shadowy floating giant ship overhead joined the battlefield, then the so-called 'obscene sneak attack stream' became a joke.

The power of the Magic Energy Giant Cannon had already been seen by the crowd!

Just because a Demon Lord can easily dodge doesn't mean that a human sorcerer can do so easily.

Therefore, if war broke out between the Crimson Family and the Alden Family, even if the Crimson Family didn't have a single high-ranking sorcerer, they could still beat the Alden Family with the combination of giant ships and magic weapons.

The victory definitely belongs to the Crimson Family, the only difference is the amount of magic weapons lost!

The death of the Mad War Demon seemed to have kicked off a prelude, and in the next fifteen minutes, four more High Demons died under the intense fire.

This time not to mention the human sorcerer, even that demon lord, Finus, couldn't help but cast his eyes over.

Finus, who had led his demonic men to attack and raid more than a dozen planes, was also surprised. It was the first time it had seen a strange bit if the large-scale use of metal magic weapons as the main force of the battlefield.

Did it run into the wrong bit in a moment of blurred vision? This is...not the Wizard World?

Phineus bobbed his bone-spiked demonic head and muttered rapidly in a low, demonic language. Soon, another powerful band of demons descended through the great rift in space into the wizarding world, displaying their hideous and ugly bodies to the public.
