Age of Adepts

Chapter 1398 - Demon Invasion

Chapter Four.

Since then, the invasion of the Wizarding World by otherworldly creatures has gradually begun to escalate, sliding towards the edge of losing control.

But with the power of the Wizard Civilization, there was no problem dealing with such scattered invaders. If they only wanted to sneak into the Sorcerer World and plunder some rare resources that were not available in the outside world, they still had a high chance of success.

After all, the Wizarding World was oversized, and it was ten thousand times more difficult to guard such a vast area of the bit that was watertight.

Therefore, the invaders only need to keep a low profile and the individual possesses some more powerful and bizarre abilities. Then the native sorcerers of the Wizarding World wouldn't have to fight to the death against such an otherworldly powerhouse.

A lot of times, as long as the other person doesn't make too much of a scene, you can just turn a blind eye and let it go!

But the sporadic 'stowaways' could be ignored, while the dissident communities that were large and established and acted like they wanted to take root and cultivate in the wizarding world would be extremely difficult to tolerate, no matter which wizarding organization was involved.

Since the outbreak of the Demon Tide, these powerful wizarding organizations in the Wizard Continent had encountered large-scale invasions of otherworldly creatures, fighting everywhere, and they were all very busy.

Perhaps the most unlucky of all wizarding organizations would have to be the Wizengamot.

They had the largest rift in space there, and were able to break into the most exotic forces, thus attracting the most troublesome calamitous creatures as well!

It was said that three well-known Calamity Lords were simultaneously staring at that spatial rift, and had also constructed a bitgate to constantly force some of the enslaved high-ranking ferocious beasts to impact the Association Witch Tower there.

More powerful creatures of calamity are entrenched in the underground area of the Mohu Valley, and they seem to be gathering in groups to overwhelm the defense line of the association and break into the wizard world to plunder it.

Judging by all indications, the Coven is not in good shape!

If the number one Wiccan organization in the Wiccan world was still like this, then those other Wiccan organizations were even more frazzled.

Not to mince words, but the middle of the continent is spread out in a f*cking annoyance!

If it was a calamitous invasion there, then the middle of the continent had also had the bad luck to encounter an extremely serious demonic invasion.

The Abyssal World was undoubtedly a much larger and more fearsome civilization than the Wizarding World.

It's endless there, a place of breathtaking terror....

It's a harsh environment, a dangerous place where lives stop....

There is no morality or ethics there, it's a bloody place where endless killing is never stopped....

There was never friendship, family or love there, it was an evil place where there was only betrayal, killing and destruction....

It's known as the bowels of the world, or the lower levels, and it's the place where the entire multiverse deposits and drains its garbage and waste.

If the multiverse was viewed as a single life, then the endless years of growth had also allowed its body to accumulate and gather huge toxins that were unimaginable to normal people. And these toxins gathered together and settled over the years to form the current Abyssal Bit.

It could be said that all the negative, evil, and chaotic filth of the multiverse had gathered in the Abyssal Plane. Over time, although barren and desolate, an extremely strange magical creature had been born there.

That's the Abyssal Demon!

Although the Abyssal Plane was vast, its resources were extremely barren.

The demons born there are constantly killing for what little resources they have, using the flesh and blood from the killings to sustain their lives, and using the energy from the killings to strengthen and transform themselves.

They grow as they kill, they grow as they kill, and step by step they go on a bit of a crusade.

When the Abyssal demons grew up, the barren resources there were not enough to sustain their continued evolution. For their own sake, and for the sake of the Abyssal Plane, they attacked and killed everywhere, seeking out any weaklings they could invade and plunder.

For the sake of warm flesh and blood, for the sake of tasty souls, they rush into any material plane with impunity, using their might and valor to reap and plunder whatever they can.

They have no fear of life or death!

Even if they die in battle on the main plane, they are able to resurrect again on the Abyssal plane with their strange demonic branding. And the more they killed and the more souls they plundered back, the more feedback from the Abyssal Will formed by the vast Abyssal Plane would give them more Plane Feedback.

It could be politely said that the growth of low-level demons into mid- to high-ranking demons relied on bloody killing and the resulting bite-feedback.

It could be said that no other bits of consciousness could be as insane, chaotic, and evil as the Abyssal Will. Not only does the Abyssal Will not forbid internal killing, but it especially appreciates this kind of unnecessary and internally consuming action.

Not only is Abyssal Will itself brutal and chaotic, but it has also ingrained this belief in all demonic creatures born on the Abyssal Plane.

Therefore, within the Abyssal Plane, there is no such thing as loyalty and faithfulness, but rather chaos, evil and destruction are the main themes of the Plane that must be kept.

One could imagine how powerful and terrifying the strong demons fighting out of such killing maniacs and violent maniacs would be!

In history, there were also times when some of the main planes that believed in order and goodness were overly confident and went so far as to kill the Abyssal Plane under the slogan of purifying evil and cleansing the demons, intending to turn that into a pure land on earth as well.

Unfortunately, they didn't even take one ten-thousandth of the Abyssal Plane, and the gathered Abyssal Demons counterattacked into their own Origin Plane.

Thus, the bits were destroyed and life withered away.

Even their origin plane was dragged back to the Abyssal Plane by the Abyssal Demons, thus merging into a part of the vast Abyssal World.

Seriously speaking, the Abyssal World was actually the multiverse's scavengers.

Those material bits that failed in the bit struggle, their ultimate fate was that their origin passed away, their rules were broken, their lives became extinct, and the leftover bits drifted and sank in the Star Ocean World until they merged with the Abyssal World and became the abandoned objects inside the intestine of the world.

Thus, the existence of the Abyssal World was also an inevitability of the Multiverse!

Only, once the Abyssal World expanded and expanded too much, it would also in turn erode the healthy development of the multiverse.

Therefore, based on various theories, those ancient shamans of the past had also put forward some novel ideas that the once-in-a-million years demonic tide outbreak was probably a spontaneous 'self-purification' activity of the multiverse!

There were too many 'toxins' and 'viruses' accumulated in the body, so a magic tide would come at the right time. Provoking cosmic tumors like the Abyssal World and the Calamity World to have a collision and friction with the main material plane, thus using the power of the major civilizations to dispel or limit the development of the tumors for a bit.

It had to be said that this theory and argument was still recognized by most sorcerers!

At least the history of the development of the multiverse as recorded in the wizarding world did follow this pattern. It was just that everything that had been read from books in the past required life and courage to experience.

Because........

The devil is really here!

....................

The Great Space Rift.

The place that had once brought the Alden family endless wealth and glory had now become their lingering nightmare!

Like those Calamity creatures, the several Demon Lords of the Abyssal World also coincidentally aimed at the Sorcerer World, which possessed rich resources and a huge population, and couldn't wait to barge in and plunder the place.

Although the Sorcerer Civilization was powerful, it was still several levels behind the Abyssal World.

But the good news was that the calamity creatures with greater individual strength were staring at the Murky Abyss Valley within the Sorcerer's Association's territory and wanted to use it as a transit point to invade the Sorcerer's Continent. The less powerful demons didn't dare to compete with the Calamity creatures and could only divert to attack the Great Rift in Central Space.

They built a surface gate on the Abyssal plane, connecting directly to the Great Spatial Rift, and then drove a steady stream of middle and low level demons into the Sorcerer's World, defiling the space with their flesh and blood, thus creating a chaotic field near the Great Spatial Rift.

In this chaotic field, the bit surface suppression that the Abyssal Demons had endured was completely gone. If the local sorcerers of the Sorcerer World dared to show their faces, they would be facing a group of terrifying demons that had no decline in their strength.

Inside a tall witch tower less than 3,000 meters away from the great spatial rift, all the 4th rank witches stared solemnly at the magic water mirror in front of them, feeling secretly shocked by what they saw.

Inside the magic water mirror, what was presented was precisely the scene around the great spatial rift.

There, everything that was familiar to them in the past had disappeared.

The sky was black and red.

Rolling waves of heat surged through the heavens and earth, baking people with dizzy minds and confused consciousness.

The earth was scorched, no longer seeing any soil or plants, mating directly to the bedrock beneath. Numerous cracks opened up in the ground, from which red hot magma spewed out, stretching like a fiery snake on the surface.

And in the black and red world, abyssal demons of all sizes and shapes had gathered into groups and were bickering and pushing and shoving there. If it wasn't for the fact that the few Demon Lords in front of the Great Rift had deterred them with their fury, it was feared that before the witches could attack, they themselves would have slaughtered each other first.

Looking around, black and red frightening demonic figures could be seen everywhere on the earth.

The largest number of them were small demons, with short, tough bodies of around one and two meters, and dark red lustrous fleshy scales. In addition, they had sharp horns on their heads, fangs on their mouths, a pair of fluttering devil wings on their backs and long, thin, hairless, bony tails, and in their hands, they held a small steel fork that shone with an evil light.

They were the lowest level cannon fodder soldiers of the Abyssal Demon Legion - the Imps.

When there was a need to fight, they were the front line cannon fodder, and when there was no fighting, they were also the spare food that the middle and high level demons prepared for themselves.
