Age of Adepts

Chapter 1464 - The King's Admonition

The Elemental Plane of Fire.

The edge of the Sea of Ashes.

This was a world of fire that was completely different from the material plane. Other than the fire element, there were no magical particles of any other elemental attribute to be found.

The mountains, rivers, earth, and sky here were all made up of special forms of fire elemental aggregates. Even if it was just a handful of tiny dirt on the surface of the earth, it was imbued with an amazingly dense fire element.

Most of the fire elemental creatures were unintelligent and senseless, they were born in flames, wandering around this fire elemental plane in a muddled and dazed state until the moment their consciousness died.......

Only those fire elements that had accidentally fused with external flames, thus becoming stronger step by step, could give birth to true spiritual intelligence. Therefore, in the Fire Elemental Plane, Fire Elemental beings with extraordinary intelligence that could control their lives on their own were still very rare compared to the huge base.

The Elemental Plane was different from the Material Plane in that it was almost completely open.

The Four Elemental Realms were like a public elemental realm, and any caster of the Material Plane could obtain a response from the Elemental Plane through sacrifice, empathy, or exchange.

Just like the Gate of Flame that Grim usually cast, he could open a direct door to the Fire Elemental Plane by sacrificing a portion of his mental and flame energy, and recruit some elemental warriors from there to fight for him.

And that, at the heart of most fire summoning sorceries!

Today, it was still an ordinary and calm day on the Fire Elemental Plane.

But somewhere at the edge of the Sea of Ashes, a dense portal opened abruptly, and Grim stepped out in faith.

Unlike in Outland, just stepping in here, Grim was inexplicably energized.

In the air, a dense and lively fire element surged into his body like a tidal wave, causing his long-suppressed human body to soar into a sky-high pillar of fire.

And Grim's body also swelled and expanded in the blazing fire until it was a hundred meters in size before it stopped rising.

In addition to the change in his body, the flame rules in Grim's body were also made manifest by the dense fire element here. Two different colored flame auras were vibrating in the vicinity of Grim's body, dense and unceasingly dazzling, sprinkling stars and magical light every time they interacted.

The rule system hidden behind the curtain of the fire elemental world was also triggered by Grim's flame rules, and something inexplicable was transmitted into Grim's body through the chain of rules. And at the same time, some of the rule contents unique to Grim's body were also channeled into the vast bit of the rule system....

The two were coupling and exchanging with each other, thus causing some of the flame rules to move!

This kind of rule-level movement could not be perceived by ordinary creatures, but it could not be concealed from that Flame Monarch, Gromus, who was a wall away.

A grand and voluminous flame will came across the sky and clashed with Grim's spiritual consciousness.

Grim grunted and the flames around his body darkened, before spinning into sudden brightness under its urging and carrying the other party's 'savage clash'.

"So it was you! I'd say an inexplicable soul that came out of there... Hey, you're already at level 5!" What came across the sky was the spiritual consciousness of that Flame Monarch Gromus who had once dealt with Grim. Its movements were so rude and brutal, not that it had any opinion or hostility towards Grim, but it was an instinct of the flame creature.

In other words, the flame creature didn't even know the meaning of the word 'gentle'!

With the intensity of the will to descend that Gromus had just experienced, if Grim hadn't had a huge increase in mental strength after advancing to the 5th level, he would have had to suffer the consequences of his body bursting and his spirit crumbling at that moment.

"Greetings, Lord Gromth, the Flame Monarch!" Although Grim was now on the same level as the other party, the other party had advanced a full few thousand years before him, and this long seniority was something that needed to be given some respect.

"Although you human sorcerers are a short-lived species, I am truly impressed by your zeal in advancing in rank... However, human, since you have become a 5th rank, you will have to abide by the rules here in the fire elemental plane as well!" Gromus' booming voice echoed in Grim's mind.

"I was about to ask the Sovereign what I need to be aware of in order to move around here." Grim lowered his stance and asked softly.

"There's nothing special to notice, after all, they are all powerful people who have crossed the Transcendent Realm, so as long as you don't invade the territory of the other Flame Kings, you can do whatever you want here!" Gromus cautioned, "But remember, don't come within a hundred miles of where the other Flame Kings live, or that will start a war between the kings!"

Grim sucked in a breath of cold air, only then did he realize why as soon as his mental fluctuations were diffused out, Gromoth's flame will came after him.

"Seeing that you're an old acquaintance, and have just entered the fire elemental plane, and don't know the rules here, I won't hold you responsible for this offense!" Grooms whirled and passed over a huge map of the distribution of forces, he said, "This is the distribution of the Flame Monarch's forces in a million mile radius around the Sea of Ashes, you can by all means look for a territory that is not under the jurisdiction of the Flame Monarch and settle down."

"There, you can claim as much territory as you wish as your immediate territory. However, do not slaughter those Flame natives who have an autonomous consciousness for no reason. Otherwise, once the bit consciousness classifies you as an undesirable individual, you won't be able to make any more friends in the Fire Elemental Plane!"

Grim nodded silently.

He knew that this was the other party repaying the favor from the last Light Flame God Stone.

Although that time was a fair trade, the other party got the Light Flame Divine Stone and Grim got the knowledge to condense the Rule Flame. But on the whole, it was still Flame Monarch Grimms who took a little 'tiny' advantage.

If Grim was still that insignificant little human sorcerer, Flame Monarch Gromse wouldn't have cared too much about it. And now that Grim had become a 5th rank powerhouse on par with it, it would have to treat it fairly and do its best to pull in this powerful sorcerer with great potential.

"Thank you, Lord Grimms, I'll get in touch with you as soon as I've settled in!" Grim got what he wanted and naturally couldn't wait to say goodbye to the others.

"Well, good luck on your journey! I hope I can still sense you next time I wake up..." the urn responded, and Gromoth's massive flame will instantly dissipated, returning to the depths of the Sea of Ashes.

Elemental creatures were lazy and inordinately lazy.

They were different from bit creatures due to their life dimension, and even the most ordinary fire elemental could easily live for a thousand or eight hundred years. And the lifespan of a Flame Monarch like Gromus was even more than 100,000 years.

Therefore, their concept of time was extremely long and loose!

Their favorite way of making friends was to slowly examine and taste each other's character and personality in millennia. To be honest, ordinary bit creatures are not qualified to be friends with them at all.

In the eyes of the elemental creatures, your life is nothing more than a small 'moment' for them to take a nap or travel around. You're already old and dead when they turn around, so what qualifications do you have to talk to them about your life?

And now Grim had also become rank 5, but his life length was only 1/10th of the opponent's. So, Grim had been completely overjoyed that Gromus could have such a 'friendly' attitude.

After several flame jumps away from the Sea of Ashes and finding a quieter spot, Grim was able to communicate quickly with the chip.

Previously, I thought that I would need to interrogate several Fire Lords to get information about the terrain and distribution of forces within the Fire Elemental Plane, but now I had it at my fingertips. Then naturally, the next step would be to formulate a proven plan of action.

"Chip, pull up that terrain map you just obtained..."

In an instant, a model of an oversized map was projected in his mind.

The entire map was drawn with the Sea of Ashes at its center.

The Sea of Ashes stretched for more than a hundred thousand miles, occupying the very center of the map, and was marked red in color, with the Monarch's crown floating above it representing Gromth. The 200,000 to 300,000 miles around it, on the other hand, was marked yellow, and this was the territory ruled by Gromth's direct subordinates.

The entire territory of Gromse is several half a million square kilometers in size, and the area ruled over is already equivalent to nearly 1/3 of the central part of the continent where Grim is located, when added together.

It may not sound like much, but you have to know that in the Fire Elemental Plane, there are hundreds of Flame Monarchs like Gromth on board... and this is the truest and most direct portrayal of the power of the Fire Elemental Plane.

And two of the four corners of the map were already painted crimson, the territories of Flame Monarchs Thanos and Zetas respectively.

One of them was rank 5 and the other was rank 6, and neither of them were powerful monarchs that could be casually provoked.

As such, there were only large green territories in the southwest and northeast, and those were areas ruled by scattered high, middle, and low ranked Flame Lords. If Grim wants to settle down soon, I'm afraid he'll have to get some ideas on those 4th ranked flame lords.

Southwest and Northeast....

Grim's gaze slowly traveled in both directions, and what caught his eye was also a completely unfamiliar place and lord's name.

Firebird Peak - Lord Zamok (Level 4)....

Burning Harbor - Flame Spirit (Tier 3)....

Giant Stone Mountain - Molten Fire Giant (Level 3)....

Land of Light - Immortal Bird (Tier 3)....

........

........

It had to be said that the enormity of the fire elemental plane also created huge communities of flame creatures.

All sorts of flame creatures, communities and tribes occupied a large area, where they had been reproducing, living and growing for generations.

The ones that could be marked on the map were all large and medium-sized forces of the 3rd and 4th ranks, while the numerous small and micro forces were ignored.

Even if Grim were to panic, he wouldn't be able to hit those small micro powers.

After all, the Fire Elemental Plane was also a world with a strict class hierarchy, and how much power there was to occupy how good a place of flame was. Only those Jedi and dead lands that were unique to the Fire Elemental Plane were the most suitable resting places for creatures of Grim's transcendent rank!
