Age of Adepts

Chapter 1525 - Grim's Harvest

The Saka bit, the Beast God Kingdom.

Inside the Noble Beast God's temple, a miserable howl suddenly rang out.

"Oneness... my oneness... who killed my oneness?"

The Hall's body, which had been sitting quietly below the temple with its eyes closed, stood upright and roared in anger and fear. Its dense, hazy body also began to crumble and disintegrate under the ravages of a violent force, and its entire divine body had the tendency to crumble and disintegrate its soul.

All the deities who had left their bodies inside the temple could not help but open their eyes and stare at this scene with horror.

Hall's original body had been exterminated?

Although it was somewhat unbelievable, it was the only speculation that could explain the scene in front of him.

When the deity's original body was extinguished, it was reasonable that his remaining branch body could survive, giving it a glimmer of hope of resurrection. However, the collapse of the deity's kingdom and the disintegration of the clergy caused by the destruction of the deity's body could not be borne by a small body.

Hall had taken most of the divine Grid fragments with him when he went out to battle, and the billet left in the temple of the Beast God A** had only one divine Grid fragment. And this mere fragment was obviously not enough to endure the huge divine position that was transferred after the demise of the original body.

That was why the billet of Hall in front of him was in danger of having its divine body disintegrate!

That Hall had actually been killed on the battlefield by a 5th rank sorcerer whose strength was far inferior to his own. This was clearly unacceptable to the many orc gods present, and deep down inside, they felt great contempt.

With the cruelty and tyranny of the orc deity system, it was good that such a useless guy died, and it would be best if his remaining divine position was divided up among everyone.

However, allowing one of their own from the God to fall on the battlefield like this, the prestige and reputation of the Beast God A** was undoubtedly a big blow.

Therefore, the Beast God A** who was sitting high above the temple stood up openly, the bronze bell-like huge hostile pupils of the flame of hatred radiating. Immediately, he waved his hand, and four crystal-clear, flawless fluorescence flew out from his body, straight into the body of Hall's billet, which was trembling violently.

The Hall billet's disintegrating doom was only initially alleviated at this point!

However, Hall himself was originally a rank 6 True God, and now relying on only 5 shards of the Godhead was apparently not enough to support his massive priesthood field.

Thus, Beast God A** swept his fierce eyes and said in a cold voice, "Whoever has any extra Divine Grid Fragments there, gather enough 10 for Hall and let him stabilize his Divine Rank at Weak Class!"

The many orc deities within the palace looked at each other, and a bitter smile appeared on their faces.

Fragments of the Godhead... this is the lifeblood of a deity!

It wasn't easy to get, and after a series of wars, everyone was severely depleted, so how many spare fragments of the God's Grid would there be!

But the Lord Gods had spoken, and the gods had to toss and turn even if their hearts were reluctant.

Soon, five more divine Grid fragments flew towards Hall's billet.

In total, 10 Divine Grid fragments were quickly condensed into a complete Divine Grid within the body of Hall's billet. With such a strong support, only then did Hall's doom of annihilation fade away completely.

However, from then on, Hall, the God of Hunting, was reverted back to his original form, becoming a completely weak god, no different from those new gods who had just lifted their thrones and ascended to the Divine Realm. Probably the only difference was that the residual priesthood and the treasury of the divine kingdom left behind were much more plentiful than they were.

But this was still more sorrow than joy for a former 6th rank middle god, and there wasn't half a hint of anything to be happy about!

"Hall, what's the matter with you? Which human sorcerer was it that killed you? Tell me his name and I'll avenge you!" Having suffered such a brutal loss at hand, as the main god of the orc god system, A** was also a bit out of anger.

"Yes... yes..." although it hadn't been long since the original body had perished, with the instinctive connection between the gods and souls, the Hall billet still knew exactly what had happened a hundred million miles away. However, the fact that such a powerful original body had been devoured by a 5th stage beginner... it was a bit too much for him to say.

"What, do you still doubt the might of this lord?" The hesitation of the hand undoubtedly angered Beast God A** even more, shouting violently, "Say his name! Whether he's a 7th Order Grand Wizard or that 8th Order Barbara, I'll avenge your death!"

"It's... a human wizard named Grim!"

"Grim?" Beast God A** repeated the unfamiliar name, momentarily unable to recall any of the high ranking great wizards he had met with that name, so he looked around at the gods, "Do any of you know this guy?"

The gods all shook their heads.

Only the billet of the tyrannical god Heistock who was standing in the back row looked slightly shaken, as if he intended to be aware but was not sure.

"He... he's a 5th rank Primary Sorcerer!" Hall billet, no, the guy who has now become Hall himself finally finishes his sentence.

Hum....

In the next moment, the entire Beast God Shrine was shaken by a vigorous surge of violent will that shook it.

"Level 5 Primary?" Beast God A**'s roar resounded through the sky, "Hall, why don't you go to hell!"

....................

Grim was running away.

Ever since he swallowed Hall himself in one bite, he had become the public enemy of all the orcish deities in the entire battlefield.

Not to mention those 5th rank deity bilocations and orc prayer mergers, even the 6th rank one-eyed giant god that was in the middle of a fierce battle shifted his gaze and shook his top-heavy body to start moving this way.

The Grim that had transformed into a Devouring Demon Fish turned around and fled.

The body of Hall that had been swallowed had not yet completely fallen, and he was even more in urgent need of finding a safe place to digest it completely.

Therefore, under the cover of the Ten-Armed Giant and Remy, he fled straight back to the Giant Rock Battle Fortress, then hid in his residence and never showed his face again.

"Drop, obtaining a Divine Grid Fragment..."

"Drip, gain a shard of the divine frame..."

"Drip, gain a shard of the divine frame..."

........

........

A simple, uncomplicated chip tone, but when it sounded continuously, Grim's blood boiled!

He no longer had the heart to count the string of hints, but was fully immersed in an explosion of ecstasy....

There is no finer sound in the world than this!

I'd love to spend eternity immersed in this beauty and never wake up again!

It took a full year for Grimfon to completely swallow and digest the Hall itself. And what he got was even more red-eyed and dry-mouthed.

Fragments of the divine Grid, seventeen....

Divinity, 463 units....

Divine Power Crystals, 117,000....

6th Order Artifact (Bow) 'Ancient Guardian' Rendilor....

5th Order Artifact (Head Ring) Fraudster Head Ring....

It had to be said that as a former 6th rank Medium God, the equipment on Hall's body definitely deserved his status. The three artifacts and the clear 5th and 6th tier equipment simply dazzled Grim's eyes.

The only reason why these equipment were ranked 5th or 6th but couldn't be called artifacts was because the main material used to create them hadn't chosen the divine grid fragments, but had used other rare resources instead. This prevented them from forming a soul resonance with the deity, and their power would weaken considerably.

But how much worse could an outfit that could be seen by a 6th rank deity be?

When such equipment fell into Grim's hands, it immediately filled his arsenal to overflowing!

And when Grim had thoroughly digested everything and reopened the restraints and protections outside his dwelling, he was startled by the tidal wave of sorcerous messages that flooded his mind.

All of them were sorcery messages that required a pass-through connection, and the range covered nearly half of the 5th rank Grand Sorcerers as well as a dozen or so 6th rank Grand Sorcerers. Amongst them, it even included that 7th rank Alchemical Sorcerer Irunwald!

"Come see me right after you leave the gate!"

The message from the Great Wizard of Ehrenwald was so simple, but it was imbued with infinite magic, causing Grim to read and think about it, and hesitate to make a decision.

A 'mere' dozen or so Divine Grid fragments must not be enough to make a 7th Order Grand Sorcerer do something vicious and despicable. But things were unpredictable, and God knows what this Irunwald was so eager to find himself for?

Thinking about it myself, only the shards of the Divine Grid were worthy of the other party's attention.

Grim hesitated for several days before finally secretly linking up with that great wizard of Irunwald.

And at the moment when their spiritual consciousness connected, Grim suddenly felt a spinning and spatial disorientation. When he regained clarity in his consciousness again, he was already within a tall and magnificent Witchcraft Palace.

The entire palace was empty, except for a seat placed on top of a tall platform above, where a sorcerer with a somewhat blurred appearance sat silently.

"You're Grim?" The tall sorcerer's body remained unchanged, but a grand surge of spiritual will pressed down on Grim like a mountain.

Grim turned pale, feeling the terror of a 7th Order Grand Sorcerer for the first time!

It was said that 5th and 6th rank witches drove the power of rules, and 7th and 8th rank witches drove the power of the world. Originally Grim was still somewhat confused and bewildered by this statement, however at this moment after personally experiencing the spiritual pressure of a 7th rank Grand Sorcerer, he was completely awakened.

The power of the world...this is the power of the world!

The other party's spiritual will at this point was no weaker than the wizard world bit of consciousness Grim had once felt.

Although there are huge quantitative differences between the two, they are essentially the same.

Equally sublime! Equally great! The same immortality!
