Age of Adepts

Chapter 33 Mandatory tasks

Grimm left the alchemy lab in a hurry, and he was going to sneak out of the tower to test the power of the Earth Magic Puppet, but only halfway there was a crowd attracted to him.

The swamp tower has never been so lively.

Everyone is busy at the usual time. There are tasks to do, there are no tasks to meditate on, either copy books, or busy witchcraft experiments... the tall tower of the day, except for the restaurant will be a little livelier at lunch time, usually always cold and refreshing. Even if they occasionally touch each other in the aisle, they just nod their heads and rub their shoulders.

Today, however, it is unexpected that almost every wizard apprentice in the snail has left his residence and rushed in the same direction.

Grimm shouted at a slightly familiar "friend," who was also a junior apprentice, Benson.

“What's wrong? Where are you guys going? ”

Grimm's words just came to an end, and Benson turned back in a more surprising tone: "Don't you know? Didn't you check your witchcraft talisman? Lord Anderson has called all the official apprentices to the lecture hall, so hurry up, too! ”

Just say it, Benson left in a hurry.

Anderson Wizard? A meeting?

Grimm stunned for a moment and was stunned by this very rare thing.

As a resident wizard of this marshy tower, Anderson wizards are required to teach their apprentices in the tower a free course of witchcraft every three months, in accordance with the unified initiative of the Swamp Tower Wizards Association in the central part of the continent. Normally, apprentices have to ask Anderson wizards questions individually by paying for knowledge points or magic crystals.

Unfortunately, Anderson wizards are the masters of this nearly enclosed marsh tower, and many of its rules are ignored directly by him.

In the six years that Grimm lived in the Swamp Tower, the Anderson Wizard held one of the most public lectures, only four in all. For the rest of the time, Anderson wizards locked themselves in the upper level of the tower and rarely interacted with the apprentices.

So Grimm was shocked to hear about it today.

Grimm hurriedly pulled the witchcraft talisman out of his neck and found it glowing red and slightly burning.

Uh... well, when the alchemy experiment was just conducted, he seemed to temporarily block the ability to communicate with the witchcraft talisman in order to avoid being disturbed by the outside world. Now, as soon as it opens, a low, dumb voice comes out of it.

“All sorcerer apprentices who hear this news, gather in the lecture hall immediately. Abolish your apprenticeship status if you don't make it in a minute! ”

Grimm's spirit fought a cold war, hastened to put away his witchcraft talisman, and rushed to the lecture hall with the flow of people.

This classroom is a bit like the staircase classroom of a previous life, except that the circular platform in front is replaced by a tall platform. In this way, even apprentices standing in any corner of the lecture hall can only look up slightly to the wizard they teach.

It can be seen that the guy who designed this lecture room would never allow any apprentice to take precedence over a wizard, even nominally and spatially.

The large lecture hall is large enough to hold more than 200 people, but the total number of apprentices in the tall tower is more than fifty, so everyone sits together sparsely. Focusing on the three strongest, each brings together three distinct little circles, in addition to the four small groups just pulled up by Apprentice Ellen. Most of the remaining apprentices sit apart and reveal themselves as "lone wolves”.

Grimm was one of these “lone wolves” if you put it before.

Grimm was also observing what was happening in the field, and his gaze swept into a particularly eye-catching presence.

A bright red gauze dress with a condensed, arrogant and alluring face. And the owner of this beautiful face is waving at him.

Mary Ben, alone in red, is the focus of peeping, and her move undoubtedly pushes Grimm to the opposite side of many male apprentices.

……

Countless meaningful eyes betrayed Grimm and he couldn't help but change his face slightly.

This Mary is such an expert in hatred!

But there was no room for him to hesitate at this time, so he had to walk to Mary and sit down honestly.

“Remember, you'll be my little brother next time come early! ”

When Mary puts her seductive face in his ear and whispers a threat, Grimm can almost perceive the killing that has fallen on her. And Mary seemed very pleased with the effect, showing a delightful look on her face, which made her sit right on her delicate body.

Her green eyes swept the whole field, and all the male apprentices who looked at her could not help but reveal the intoxicating color conferred by the soul color, swirling cold and fighting a cold war, quickly lowered their heads and avoided her gaze.

At this point, Grimm sensed a rather “powerful” gaze falling on him, and he couldn't help but feel a little creepy.

Stunning, looking up, it's him!

He was watched by one of the three best, the evil worm Ntik.

Covering his face, two strange green rays lit up beneath his hood, staring coldly at him, although silent, an invisible pressure had begun to spread over Grimm's body.

Faced with each other's 19-point mental strength, Grimm is clearly on the weakest side of the spiritual strength. In exchange for fighting, Grimm was afraid to guarantee that he would be able to carry out the spell under such intense mental pressure.

But when I think of yesterday's sniper battle, where the evil bug Ntik fled under that horrible Alice, Grimm's freshly bred fear vanished.

You were beaten by Alice, and that Alice ran away in my hands. Perhaps you haven't mended your injuries yet! Wearing a hood to cover yourself up so tight, you're not trying to cover your scarred body?

Silently exhaled himself, thinking of Ntik hiding his crippled face under his hood, Grimm burst out a bit of pride in his heart and hardened back the pressure he had wagered on him with his spirit.

The evil worm Ntik's eyes became more and more gloomy.

Although the two sides did not say a word, the eyes were handed over, and any subtle spiritual changes in the spiritual confrontation of the other side could be clearly perceived. Entique could even see Grimm with a grim look on his face full of irony!

Teng……

The eyes in the shadow of the Evil Bug Ntik Hood swept up two cold burning green flames, and suddenly concentrated spiritual abnormality swept away, spraying out thin lust.

But the next second, Grimm, who looked at him, disappeared and replaced it with a beautiful face that was a few desires to turn it upside down.

Mary in red stared at him violently and her lips moved gently without a word. Despite the distance of dozens of meters, Ntik can still read her words through her lips.

“He's mine! If you touch him, I'll kill you! ”

Though the words were short, there was no doubt about the aggressive attitude.

Ntik's pubic eyes are even colder.

Analyzing it from all angles, this outburst of red Mary will not be her opponent. Most of her skills are restrained by herself. But... I have to say, I'm not at my peak right now. It's not even nice to say that I'm in the lowest battle zone right now.

It will take a few more days to recreate the scorpions that have damaged most of them. If you fight Mary Redcoat at this time, you will lose your energy even if you win.

Entique, who had always been good at hiding, finally turned his head away, avoiding the challenging gaze of Mary the Red, and went silent.

“You know how to get in trouble! Evil Bug Entik, how dare you!” Marie finally turned her head and turned to Grimm when she saw that she was pushing back.

Grim smiled in his heart.

You pulled most of this hatred for me, okay?

But in the face of the glorious Mary, he did not have any resentment or complaint, because, inexplicably, he could perceive from the other party an inexplicable trust and… dependence.

Dependencies?

Grimm shook her head gently and laughed at her ridiculous thoughts again. It must have been the alchemy experiment that had lost so much spiritual power that it had all given rise to such absurd and funny ideas.

The delicate interaction between the evil worm Ntik and them also apparently aroused the interest of the two remaining senior apprentices, turning blindly on Mary and Grimm.

Mary in red is like a fried female cat guarding her territory. She can't help but intimidate her opponent and act as if she can't help herself.

And just as the atmosphere grew heavier on the field, the light shook over the platform in front, and Anderson's wizard's slender body appeared there.

The cold eyes swept across the field, and Anderson's wizard held the magic scepter in his hand, silent for a moment and finally opened his mouth.

“I have good news and bad news for you today! ”

Everyone on the field immediately held their breath and condensed.

“The good news is you will soon reap the richest reward of resources in your lifetime.” Anderson nodded with satisfaction when he glanced at the scene and saw that everyone had not been overwhelmed by this unexpected surprise: “And the bad news is… each of you must accept a mandatory task! ”

A translucent light screen projected onto the high ground with a cane in the hands of the Anderson Wizard, instantly brushing down countless jumping green texts like a waterfall projection.

One row, one column, is mostly apprenticeship-level tasks in the Sandtalin-controlled area.

As apprentices of the Magic Swamp Wizard Tower, all they had to do was complete a guardian tour of this resource point, which was a relatively closed little circle. But now that Anderson Wizards are suddenly opening up apprenticeship-level assignments throughout the scattering Tallinn region, does that mean any major change?

Some knowledgeable apprentices cannot help but get into deep thinking.
