Age of Adepts

Chapter 58 Return

When Grimm and the others returned to where the team broke up, four people were already waiting here.

Seeing the weakest group emerge, Marcus, Leander, Isaac and Bruce all had the same smile of relaxation. If something goes wrong with the Grimm and Mary groups, I'm afraid someone will have to do their job alone on the next underground tour.

But before they could put away the smile on their faces, they were shocked by a corpse that Mary had brought back. Black wizard robes, dressed very differently from their decorations, all indicate that this… is a wizard apprentice from the Fallen Wizard camp.

Three senior apprentices are fine, and that quasi-woman Marcus looks a little unnatural.

“Senior apprentice or quasi-woman?” Marcus asked softly.

“Certainly a senior apprentice. If it was a quasi-woman, we wouldn't be able to come back!” Mary looked natural.

Upon hearing her answer, the shock on the face of the quasi-woman Marcus only slightly softened, but the uncertain colour of the divine remains elusive. If he hadn't traveled underground, he might not be comfortable with the outcome. But the trip to the ground just now was brutal and told him that it was a disaster using elemental witchcraft.

Elemental witchcraft has traditionally been powerful, wide-ranging and at the forefront of all witchcraft, which has allowed apprentices who have mastered elemental witchcraft to temporarily transform into a terrible firecracker turret and submerge the battlefield in a violent and fierce wave of witchcraft. Limiting the ability of a wizard apprentice does not play into the number of enemies, but is one of its own.

Underground, these past experiences will no longer be useful.

In an underground passageway and at the hands of an unexpected enemy, overly fierce elemental witchcraft directly destroys the only space in which they live. So what awaits them will be tons of slanted dirt and sandstone. Even a quasi-witch, once buried underground, is unlikely to escape the day of his birth.

In the underground world, the battle between apprentices is not about powerful horror witchcraft, but about the right kind of witchcraft. A qualified user of witchcraft is only able to bind the power of witchcraft and accurately and effectively cast them on the enemy.

In the face of the rats who flock in the dark, it may not be the enemy that is causing you a great disaster, but the burst of fireballs that you set in motion. So after experiencing the siege of a multitude of underground creatures and the dark attacks of strange warcraft, every new Wizard apprentice will be in this painful and difficult grind, slightly diminishing his exaggerated and trekking personality of the past, beginning to become harsh and steady, intelligent and agile.

It is precisely because of this experience that those present know how painful and tedious the battle can be when an enemy of the same rank is encountered underground. So seeing Mary bring back a senior apprentice corpse of the same rank as her, several people on the field couldn't help but show amazement.

Why is it that none of the apprentices who took up the Dark Grotto expedition took the line of the Refinery Wizard? Because the narrow, dark tunnels and battlefields of the underground world are not really suitable for those who like to fight hard. Fighting here is actually more about small witchcraft with the right amount of power and faster speeds.

The opposing parties need to constantly convert the battlefield and devour their opponents a little with accumulated local victories. But once one side is determined to flee, it will be difficult for the other to trap the other without special means.

And the fact that Mary in red is able to do this clearly shows that she has some kind of weird witchcraft that is ideal for underground use. So what would it be?

The crowd couldn't help but become lost in thought.

Thirty-four hours have elapsed since the last breakup, and it is inferred from the distance that even the most difficult groups of Sabrina should return. Everyone had to worry about the violent “earthquake” that had previously struck the ground.

But the most terrible thing didn't happen, and after three hours of painful waiting, Sabrina and Sheila came back. They chose a mission point deep within nearly 10 miles of the basement, so the huge underlying changes that had just taken place had the greatest impact on them. If Sabrina hadn't majored in mechanical witchcraft, several of the main organs of the body would have been replaced by powerful magic machines, which would have made it difficult to open a road to the ground from the ground where the layers collapsed.

Now that the five teams have returned to the four, it is clear who was attacked.

Just as the crowd was bitterly prepared to take the first underground tour and lose the bitter fruits of two members, the young quasi-woman Leo fled back to the camp with blood.

The grey apprenticeship robe has been broken apart and the thin body is covered with staggered wounds. And all the wounds were wrapped around the black smoke, and the wounds that rolled over were corroded with flesh and blood. Leo's face was also attacked by acid arrows, and half his face was nourished by strong acid corrosion. Had it not been for that clear spiritual fluctuation that he had been identified, the members of the team would have had to treat him as an enemy.

Despite the severity of the injury, Leo refused to treat his teammates. He doesn't want the secrets in his body to fall into the hands of outsiders until he builds true trust.

Hiding alone in the corner, he hurried to heal his injuries, and Leo was questioned in the shadows.

Sabrina couldn't help but be silent when she heard that the attack had besieged him and Matthew with three black witches and a senior apprentice. Even if she does, I'm afraid it won't be easy. Leo's ability to reclaim a life also amply demonstrates the power of his witchcraft.

“How powerful are your enemies?” After Leo, Sabrina couldn't help but ask about Marie.

“Two enemies, one quasi-woman and one senior apprentice. We designed to draw the quasi-witch away and ambush the senior apprentice. Grimm and I killed her together!” Marie wrote it down.

Although she describes the opponent she and Grimm killed together, it is customary for people to inadvertently ignore Grimm's existence. No way, a junior apprentice, no more than 10 o'clock in spirit, can master only one or two witchcraft, such a guy can also participate in the battle of senior apprentices? I'm sorry, people can't even imagine.

It was only then that Leo noticed the corpse lying at Marie's feet that he had to scream loudly.

“That's her... one of the four people who besieged me. Later, when Matthew and I split up and fled, two prospective witches were hunting me, and another prospective witch and this woman went after Matthew. I also had a hard fight to get out of it. ”

Leo's words flashed a little, but people didn't care.

What disperse escape? Well, in that dangerous time, would Matthew, a senior apprentice, have the guts to flee alone? This Leo must have been a bad idea, abandoning Matthew's choice to flee alone, thus distracting the fire and attention of his enemies.

No one blamed Leo for that, even though you had guessed what might have happened at the time. Imagine situating yourself, and I'm afraid most would make the same choices as him.

That Matthew didn't escape, only because of his personal inability. Without the means to save your life, you dare come underground to carry out this red grade task!

Sabrina, through the compilation of information from both sides, is also prima facie the basic information of the enemy.

3 quasi-words, one on the blood wizard route, with the horrible blood of a Fae Demon Serpent; one on the Oui Wizard route, able to summon some powerful corpse puppets; one on the rule wizard route, the element is affectionate with the wind particles.

With this information and the corpse of a senior apprenticeship enemy, the team returned to the Wizard Tower and successfully received a reward from the Angus Wizard. After all, Leo was attacked on his way back from the mission, so he was rewarded for his mission.

And Mary, as the lucky one to kill a fellow enemy alone, was awarded a special reward by the Angus Wizard. It's just a secret of the reward collection process that keeps people from knowing exactly what the reward is.

As the crowd was about to leave, the Angus wizard cautioned them in a yin-tested tone: "Little ones, don't think you're good at returning from the ground once. In subsequent missions, this will become more frequent, attacks will become more frequent, and only well-prepared men will live longer. So make the most of the rest of these days, or you won't be so lucky on your next underground trip. ”

“Besides, the information you brought back was very good. I'll pass the message on to the hunting team here, and I'm sure the guys who ambushed you were on their way back, but it was too quiet.” [sic] [sic]

Through what was implicitly revealed in the Angus Wizard's words, the team members understood the significance of the remaining apprenticeship teams made up of purely veteran hands.

If their new team is a bait, then the team where Blackhand Kevin is is is a hunting fork for prey. One exists as a prey, luring the discipleship strongmen of the other camp to appear, while the other exists as a predator, specializing in shooting at these black robe quasi-witches who have leaked their tracks.

As you can imagine, the black robes that ambushed Leo and Mary and others did not leave them behind, exposing their tracks. A message passes, and naturally there will be a perennial patrol to hunt in front of a group of predators underground.

When you think about what might happen to the enemies who beat themselves up and ran away, Leo's face is half full of smiles.
