Age of Adepts

Chapter 60: Installation

The Tower of Wizards stationed in the Dark Grotto by the La Tallinn Wizards Association can only be counted as a small tower of wizards, with seven floors on the ground and two floors underground, thus totalling nine floors.

The layout of the Wizard Tower is similar to the swamp tower Grim once stayed in.

Floors 1—3 of the ground are public areas provided to the Wizard Apprentice as their main area of activity. Open public facilities cover almost all areas that can be covered by the Wizard Apprentice. On the other hand, the 4—7 level is the residence and experimental site of the official wizard. Wizard apprentices without special permission, if they enter, will be attacked mercilessly by the high tower defense mechanism.

At this moment, Grimm is wandering silently in the public lobby on the first floor of the Wizard Tower.

Unlike the Swamp Tower, this dark cave is an open area that allows Wizard Apprentices to organize their own teams to search for materials and gather resources in various regions. So the material resources here are millions of times richer than the marsh towers.

In addition to the dreadful underground world of shadows and shadows, there are resource-rich mountains of Crera above the surface. In the rugged alpine valley, there are also myriad strange flowers and grasses, and myriad powerful magical creatures are hidden.

Seriously, it's a great place for a wizard apprentice to grow near a dark cave.

Junior apprentices can join forces to gather resources in the mountainous wilderness near the Wizard Tower and practice their witchcraft with ordinary jungle beasts. Intermediate apprentices can go further and go to the depths of the mountains for individual polishing. Higher apprentices, on the other hand, can already try to reach the shallow surface of a dark cave, where they fight with the dark creatures of rats, claw monsters, immortals, etc.

A wizard apprentice who has been milled step-by-step through this method can be far more fierce and fierce than an apprentice who has accumulated a swamp tower based on time and slow meditation. In contrast, Grimm is like an academic apprentice coming out of a third-class sorcerer's college, but he is a fierce combat apprentice who has been slaughtered with a real knife, and the two are simply not comparable.

Early in the morning, the public lobby was already crammed with wizard apprentices seeking teams, mostly junior high and occasionally one or two senior apprentices. More apprentices lay a piece of black cloth on the corner of the hall with a dozen strange objects and sat next to a book. Only when apprentices come forward to ask questions do they lazily say a few words and spend the rest of their time reading in silence.

This apprenticeship life, which is completely different from the marsh tower, makes Grimm envious and helpless.

After all, before entering the Swamp Tower, all of the Wizard Apprentices signed a Witchcraft Deed with Anderson Wizards, who have been Swamp Tower Deed Apprentices for the rest of their lives. And there are only two ways to get * freedom, either with the permission of the Anderson Wizard or by advancing to becoming a full Wizard.

If a covenant apprentice turns away from his or her witch tower, he or she loses his or her status as a witch apprentice and becomes a betrayer that everyone can hunt. And a large part of the corrupt wizards in the depths of the shadowy cave are the transgressors who have advanced. However, their status as wizards is no longer recognized by the Scattered Tallinn Wizards Association and they can only remain anonymous as vagrant wizards.

So even if the way of life here is so hot, Grim can only shake his head and sigh, darkening his life.

Among the many apprentices, Grimm searched the roadside stalls while silently measuring these sorcerer apprentices belonging to the Dark Grotto Tower.

Grimm found that apprentices who were able to find a team in the middle of the lobby, even a junior apprentice, had good witchcraft gear and magical objects. Instant wands, scrolls and magic potions filled with lumbar pockets, tiny objects filled with listeners… Everyone is a small arsenal, although their own strength is not strong, but with so many auxiliary objects they can submerge their enemies in a very short period of time with so much witchcraft.

In Grimm's eyes, they are a walking human gold coin that smells rich in money from head to toe, from inside to outside, every inch of his body. Look at them, look at themselves, Grimm can't help but feel a little obscene, and his arrogance with just a small victory has been wiped out.

Probably the only ones in the field who are poor with Grimm are the junior apprentices who have just become junior apprentices and are not qualified to go into the jungle.

Grimm circled around the public lobby, essentially incorporating all the information he needed into his mind, which led to the selection of a more lively staller to communicate.

This is a slightly fat young man, and the apprentice's robe from the Wizard's Tower apparently doesn't fit him well enough to make him look funny. With five officers dancing as he spoke, his booth became one of the liveliest areas on the field.

“Hello, my name is Grimm!” Grimm introduced himself.

“Well... hello, my name is Sam.” Little Fatty has a harmonious smell in one mouth: “Can I help you? ”

“Hello, Sam. I was wondering, do you need any special formalities to set up a stall here? ”

“Eh…”

Sam weighed Grimm up and down and asked puzzled, “Are you the new junior apprentice? ”

“Yeah, I'm a junior apprentice who just got here two days ago.” Grimm said ambiguously. He doesn't want to go through the trouble of explaining how he came as a junior apprentice on a deadly, dark cave mission.

“Poor man! At first glance, you know a new person abandoned by his mentor. But don't worry, hang out with your Sam Brother, sooner or later you'll be just like them, mixing with magic equipment...” This Sam is an unexpected enthusiast who instantly turned on the bloodthirsty Brother model.

But Grimm looked at each other, and he looked at the test data projected in his head, silent for a while.

This self-proclaimed Big Brother, Sam, is just an ultra-pure, ultra-green junior apprentice with six points of mental strength, which also confuses Grimm.

“Uh... Sam, I was wondering if I could set up a stall here to sell a few things. ”

“No problem, no problem. I'm Sam, the newest guy in history. Come on... I still have some space on my side, just put it here! ”

With Sam's lead, Grimm also quickly spread out a tray-sized black cloth and took five things out of his lumbar bag and placed them on top. The earrings that rely on grass trees for self-healing serve as green sticks for the wand body, leather boots with the ability to walk freely in the jungle, witchcraft material squealing frogs, and the witchcraft notes that come from the enemy's hands.

The reason why leather boots are here is definitely to discourage Grimm. The Mary actually disliked that the magic pattern on the leather boots was not sophisticated enough, so she threw it at Grimm early in the morning and let him handle it.

Grimm said it was incomprehensible for such a reason. And so she classified Mary as one of the most incomprehensible strange creatures in the world!

Watching Grimshah have trouble putting his stall out, Sam sitting next door couldn't help laughing back and forth. He patted Grimm on the shoulder and said with enthusiasm, "Brother, don't blame me for not reminding you that it's hard for you to sell! ”

“Look at me, my booth is so big, your booth is so small, what are you doing to attract their attention! If you look again, my stall is full of things, and you're there... hey, what is this? ”

Even if Sam was weaker, he quickly perceived clear magic fluctuations from several of Grimm's objects. My dear, there are a total of 5 items, 4 of which are obvious magic items. And look at the magic rune styles and styles etched on it, with obvious underground style.

Sam reached out puzzled and picked up the pair of magic earrings, delicately tasted them and suddenly shouted: “Resurrection earrings! These are resuscitation earrings! ”

The sound was not loud, but it quickly shook up the sorcerer apprentices passing by. They stopped and turned around and measured the pair of earrings the fat man held in his hand.

“Fatty, what are you yelling at? Can you get the resurrection earrings? Don't be fooling around here! ”

“Yeah, Sam, you're trying to revive your earrings. Think crazy! Can you get a resuscitation earring just because you're a lousy businessman? Haha...”

As everyone's hip-hop laughed, Fat Sam's old face rose red, but the earrings just saved in his hand and never let go again.

In the crowd, a woman apprentice with a clear face and a sweet smile suddenly walked up to the stall.

“Sam, can I see these earrings? ”

“This...” The muscles on Fatty's face twitched slightly, looking like he couldn't help but slap himself.

Eventually, he helplessly spread out his hands and presented the beautifully shaped earrings to the female apprentice.

The young girl, with intermediate apprenticeship power, susceptible with her fingertips to magic earrings, immediately revealed a surprising divine colour on her face. Under her control, this pair of magical earrings, which were not yet eye-catching, instantly lit up the green fluorescence, and a hint of grass began to dissipate in the air.

The sound of sucking in a cold breath lasted forever.

“What a revival earring! ”

“My God, someone actually sold Level 3 magic items in the lobby...”

“No, I have to tell Lina she already wants a pair of recovery earrings! ”

“Yeah, I have to hurry and notify the boss...”

“ …… ”

A lot of people in the crowd pulled some strange magical contact items out of their arms. At one time, frogs, birds, bug whistles, wolf howls… all sorts of bizarre cries echo through the hall.
