Age of Adepts

Chapter 63: Gambling

The entire training camp is spacious, but there are few annexed buildings.

To the east is a row of sturdy wooden houses, all built directly from coarse logs, which look rough and simple, but are exceptionally sturdy and practical. On the west side, there are several tents distributed sporadically, the size of which seems to be enough for one or two people to rest.

The most glaring part of the camp is the vast area of training and the myriad witch apprentices who fought hard on it. Yes, a sorcerer apprentice, not an ordinary human warrior. Watching the meteor-like bowl fireball cross the field, watching the battle axe raised, dressed in the horror of thunderbolts, Grim's heart started pounding again.

The Wizard Apprentice has always given Grimm a sense of bias toward shadow and cunning, and psychopathic distortions abound. This is the first time he has been able to confront people with his fierce witchcraft in blue daylight.

Around a large training ground, a group of people watched the two advanced apprentice battles.

A remote practitioner who, like Grimm, specializes in fire witchcraft.

One is a horror warrior with powerful thunder power and a preference for refinery wizards.

You come and go with me in the presence of the two people, the killing is indistinguishable.

The fire apprentice wrapped himself around a three-sided spinning flame shield, blocking him from a large amount of sputtering dirt sandstone and lightning bolts like a silver serpent. And beneath his feet, a strange, hidden array of witches always accompanied him.

Obviously, it has some kind of acceleration, which makes him run like an agile apprentice. And the clusters of fire that converged between his palms split apart one blast after the other, like a meteor storm, bombarding his opponent.

As for that fierce warrior-type apprentice, he withstood the round-the-clock bombardment of a ball-fire ball with a strong body and a thunderous grid full of his body. And he kept roaring and rushing, trying to catch up with the fire apprentice.

Look at that horrible thunder filled with a huge battle axe. As soon as he gets close, even a little closer, the thunderous battle axe thrown out can instantly rehabilitate a weak opponent.

Grimm followed Kevin to the field, not close enough to smell the pungent smell of lightning burning air, and his ears filled with the roar of a fireball burst.

Although large enough, the venue is still too small for fierce and ferocious witchcraft. Several bursting fireballs even flew out of the field and headed straight for the crowd. And at this time, it's a festive moment for everyone on the scene.

Some pull out the wand and a cold currents laser instantly freezes the fireball into an icy cream. Others jumped up and cut it into fireflies as soon as the fireball rubbed past. Every guy who comes out and sells his witchcraft wins a string of good sounds.

And that Howie voice that just mocked Kevin out loud was standing among the crowd. Light head, big body, full of iron ingot solid muscle, although standing there naked fist, can give people a sense of oppression.

This is a quasi-woman apprentice in refinery, and that powerful sense of oppression is about to materialize, standing beside him, Grimm even has some difficulty breathing.

The chip in my mind has already sounded a series of thrill warnings.

“WARNING… High frequency mental radiation detected… Please keep the subject away from this radiation source immediately, otherwise signs of mental weakness will appear in 3 seconds. Now the countdown begins: 3… 2… 1…"

Grimm couldn't bear frowning and grinning.

In the wizard world of Gao Demons, from the beginning of the Wizard Apprenticeship, apprentices began hoarding magic elements through constant meditation and swallowing of witch potions. The more elemental particles accumulate, the more intense the psychic radiation is created by itself. This may already be the norm for them, but for ordinary people, this mental radiation with its strong elemental properties is no less than the nuclear radiation of the Earth of previous generations.

Wizard apprentices may only count as nuclear materials, nuclear waste, although dangerous, but of limited strength. But the official wizards, once they cross the threshold of mass transformation, can change from nuclear material to nuclear reactors. The level of risk of that increase is not above one level at all.

And the bald-headed giant who looks laughing in front of him is definitely a quasi-witch strongman who's about to hit the witch threshold. A little closer, even Grimm, a junior apprentice, could not withstand the horrific spiritual radiation he unconsciously emitted.

After saying hello to Kevin, that bald-headed Alfred's eyes fell on Grimm. However, after a glance, he also had a confusing look on his square face like a cast of steel.

“Why a junior apprentice? Did all those black bastards eat corpses and get laid by a junior apprentice? You, Kuroki, try his hand!” Bareheaded Alfred is clearly the real speaker in this camp, picking out an opponent for Grimm.

“Hey, you two, how tired have you been bouncing on the field for so long! Get down here and we'll have a new game soon! ”

Soon, after naked Alfred shouted, the two senior apprentices who were sweating on the field came down with scars all over them. It turns out that this is not the first time they've fought each other, so they have a good understanding of each other's abilities. Prior to the obvious breakdown of each other, both sides had the opportunity to win, but it was difficult to grasp it in earnest.

The thunderous giant who walked off the scene was covered in burns after the big and small flames had been roasted. As he was being treated, he asked aloud, "Where did this junior apprentice come from? Boss, you didn't want him dead! I'm afraid you can't help but rub your little body like a bean sprout! ”

Bald Alfred's head gave a huge smile that shook the heavens and earth.

“Mark, you son of a bitch, don't be shy here! You know, this little junior apprentice, he killed the Demon Vine himself. What, any of you senior apprentices dare to slap your breasts and say that they will steadily beat the Demon Vine woman? ”

After listening to Alfred's words, the confused people brushed their eyes at Grimm, trying to see him through the situation.

Grimm opened his mouth and wanted to explain one or two. But Kevin patted him gently on the shoulder and whispered in his ear: “Little guy, I'll teach you a good one this time. If you don't want someone to spy on your secrets, be sure to destroy the enemy's soul next time! ”

Grimm's mouth dried for half a day before he could see where he was exposed.

Goddamn it, it's the body of that Demon Vine woman.

Myself and Mary just killed her, but did not extract and destroy her soul. After handing her body over to the Wizard Tower, it must have been those wizards who discovered their secrets through her remaining soul memory.

Fuck! Grass!

At this moment, Grimm can't help but slap herself and weep for her thoughts. At the same time, he felt a little powerless in the creepy witchcraft of this strange world.

The variety of witchcraft is varied and countless, and the odd effects are even more unprotected. Seeing as I wanted to hide behind Mary, the plan to make a big deal of money was about to collapse. Today, here, we have to properly show our abilities.

Their most powerful abilities are still beyond their grasp, and their self-righteous abilities are only the tiniest of their own.

With the idea in mind, Grimm gave up her intention to continue lurking and a strange smile appeared on her face.

“Well, since you want to see what I can do, send your fighters! Let him stand up. Let me see who my opponent is. ”

“Well... excuse me... your opponent is me! My name is Kuroki!” A low, dumb voice came out of the crowd and walked out of a skinny old apprentice with a wooden scepter in his hand.

Relaxed, cracked skin, tight to the dry ribs, lean body, face cold and harsh, head full of scorched yellows and atrophies. The outstretched hands and feet were black and dirty, and the dark, curved nails curved like eagle hooks, smiling at Grimm's shadows, revealing burnt yellow and crippled teeth.

And at the top of the wooden scepter he held in his left hand, he hung a string of teeth and a miniature skull, and as the wind blew, Tinker Bell made a crisp bang.

At his age, he seemed as though he was nearing the end of his life, a human skeleton that would enter his grave. But Grimm's eyes stagnated sharply, and the color of the gods grew back together.

In front of this guy named Blackwood, although only the spirit fluctuations of the senior apprentice, the death threat to Grimm is so clear and intuitive. If you're not mistaken, the other side should be a horrible guy with good and negative energy. Now I don't know if this guy is a corpse player or a terrible enemy with a curse.

I'm afraid he's only going to have a little experience in the duel field!

“Hey, I'm afraid it's unfair of you to have a senior apprentice deal with a junior apprentice like me? If you want to try me, you can't afford it. Before the battle, put on a little bit of colour!” Grimm held his chest with both hands, looking confident.

“Boy, you're crazy!” Blackwood smiled once again: “Lord Alfred wanted to see how long you could last under my hands. What, you still think you have a chance of winning?” [sic]

“What if I win? How dare you make a bet with me?” General Grimm's Resistance One.

“Don't you dare? For your courage, I can give you a 10: 1 odds. No matter how many crystals you press, I'll return them 10 times as long as you can!” The smile on Blackwood's face matches his skull-like head, not to mention how horrible he is.

“Who else would gamble with me? Show your courage! ”

Grim howled and threw away all his homework.

That black cloth bag and only 9 Magic Crystals left.

He lit the atmosphere instantly!
