Age of Adepts

Chapter 166: In the Woods

Grim slowly walked into the jungle.

He's weak now, but after all, the Wizard's bottom is there, and even bare hands can't hurt ordinary creatures. And he just had a faint feeling that the puppets he might have refined would not be affected by the law variation, so he was anxious to find a secret place to verify them.

The jungle is filled with sprawling canes and low bushes, and the semi-green and half-red berries shake on the branches, and the gushing wind is filled with grassy aromas and moist water.

Half a mile away from the camp, looking back, the dense tall trees cover the sky, and doing anything here is perceived by those far away.

Grimm grabbed a soil-based nucleus from the storage belt and threw it on the soil at will. As the muddy earth elements began to converge rapidly, the dark, oily soil began to rise and deform constantly, forming a human earth magic puppet within three or five of the finest times.

Due to the fact that the soil here was not screened before it was shaped, there are countless broken branches, rotten leaves, and panicked earthworms and insects on the body of the Earth Magic Puppet!

Grimm frowned.

This is a junior apprentice strength earth magic puppet, though not as advanced as the Demon Alligator Hunter, should not be weak!

According to his tests in the wizard world, the earthly magic puppet of the first stage should be up to 2 meters in size and weigh 600 or 700 pounds. But now it looks like this earth demon puppet weighs less than 1 meter and 5, and weighs almost 13 less.

It seems that the magic puppet summons is not affected by the variation of the law, but the scarcity of magic elements here makes the puppet's power shrink, making it difficult to reach the optimal level. This minor flaw did not frustrate Grimm. Because for this frontal war, his storage belt was densely lined with puppet nuclei of all kinds, and there were two or three hundred of them in rough numbers.

This is the fruit of six months of hard work. Grimm has always believed: If you can't crush the enemy qualitatively, submerge the enemy in horrible quantities!

Grimm perceived once again the mental drain of summoning the Earth Magic Puppet, and with his current mental strength, he was clearly enough to support 100 Earth Magic Puppets on the battlefield. In the time that followed, Grimm repeatedly verified several other magic puppets, including Waterman, Rock Python, Weather Monster, Lightning Giant, Flame Dog, Flame Lord...

Grimm senses in detail the spiritual force that each of them needs to wear, and then remembers them in his mind one by one.

Since his promotion to the rank of Wizard, his sudden spiritual enhancement has also made the previously envisioned Legion of Magic Puppets impracticable. With Grimm's current mental strength, he can support about 100 primary magic puppets (earth magic puppets, flame dogs, monsters), or 25 advanced magic puppets (watermen, crocodile hunters, pythons), or 10 quasi-wolf magic puppets (lightning giants, water essence, lava dogs), or 5 wizard magic puppets (fire lords).

However, the current wizard-level demon puppet still has only one flame lord, so the rarity of high-order demon puppets can only allow Grim lords to beat the low-level demon puppet's group beating strategy!

Just after Grimm sequentially examined the various types of magic puppets, the chip suddenly sounded a sharp siren.

“Dip, discovering strange life matter, spreading special spiritual fluctuations...”

Grimm turned around and the black eyes of the bright morning star passed through a gap of nearly 100 meters between the woods, and his gaze fell on a strange flying bug lying in lush branches.

This is a finger-sized flying bug covered in black crusts, lying on a thick branch and covering its own body with broad leaves. If it weren't for the chip reminder, Grimm wouldn't have found such a hidden "lurker” under severe mental pressure!

Son of a bitch, it's that evil bug Entik's eyeliner.

Grimm's eyebrows wrinkled, red flashes in his eyes, and the branches where the flying insects lived in the distance immediately rolled with smoke, instantly lit by the gathering fire elements.

Flying insects were exposed knowingly, clapping their wings with a metallic glow and wanting to slip away, but Grimm's second "ignition" had locked it. Heterogeneous law variations also affected Grimm's first witchcraft, forcing him to make up for the second.

The sudden flame instantly swallowed the flying worm, twisting the fat body pain and hissing, making a mouthful like a human. Looks like the evil bug Ntik has a little spiritual power in his eyes, and now he's eating a little bitterness at Grimm's.

In a wooded space a mile from Grimm, Ntik, the black robe cover, stood still and a cold hum came out in the shadow of his hood.

Like Mary, the evil worm Ntik is not over-reliant to elemental witchcraft because of his special physical condition, and is therefore less affected by law variations. That brings him to the idea of taking advantage of Grimm.

The main reason for not choosing Mary is that vampires are too difficult to kill. Grimm, after all, is only an elemental wizard, and if his own strength is severely reduced, he is more certain if he attacks ambush.

Unfortunately, the scene where the flying bug peeped in made the evil bug Ntik so cold. That goddamn Grimm has such a number of obnoxious puppets that it upsets Ntik.

It was his mental fluctuations that made it possible for the chip to detect the presence of flying insects. As the flying worm was swallowed up by the flames, the spiritual world of Entik had a hint of tingling.

Hmm, just let you live a few more days!

Ntik's hateful curse cursed a few words and quickly disappeared in place.

He was calm on the surface, but nervous on the heart.

That grim doesn't seem to have diminished much, or even become scarier. Once he did his best to surround himself with a legion of demonic puppets, coupled with that action like the ghost Mary, Ntik, though confident in his strength after becoming a wizard, was still not sure to confront them!

So after a few curses, he hurried away.

After all, he was also worried that Grimm would suddenly change his mind and come after himself.

…………

Mary walks fast in the woods.

The bloodsucking bat she embodies flies up into the blue sky, looking down at the nearby mountain forests; she rushes into the dense woods and quickly flies through the lush tree crowns, branches, vines and web of spiders.

Beyond that, a number of small animals in the woods were shocked into hiding, peering at this strange blood-red giant bat in horror through the dense leaf crevices.

Occasionally, she also breaks into the homes of powerful warcraft and flirts with them. Unfortunately, in front of Mary's lightning speed, their clumsy, heavy bodies couldn't even eat dust.

Dragon, vulture, penguin, four-armed monkey, razor boar, swordtooth elephant, ogre...

On this journey, Marie has to exclaim that the abundance of biological resources in this position is far beyond her imagination. The density of the biota is even more amazing!

But in relative terms, these creatures are much weaker than the wizard world. Few monsters are seen in the wilderness!

The scarcity of magic creatures may be a great thing for ordinary humans! That would make human gatherings safer, with a lot less unnecessary sacrifice. But for the extraordinary power owners, it's a terrible thing! This leaves them with many less opportunities to hone themselves and steal the nature of their master.

Why wizards are so powerful is because the world of wizards possesses equally powerful monsters! Wizards must become stronger and smarter than monsters if they are to preserve the tranquillity of the human world and sustain it!

So the power of witches is the natural result of thousands of years of struggle against bloody and brutal monsters, not the rise of one or two genius witches!

If this site lacks powerful warcraft or artifacts, it is not possible for the native natives here naturally to be born too powerful individuals. This is a place where all sorcerers are confident!

Why is it that all sorcerers beyond the fourth level are forcibly evicted? It's to maintain a situation in the world of wizards where wizards have the same overall strength and level of monsters, and then artificially create a cruel and harsh environment to inspire more qualified wizards.

This is the conclusion of Grimm after combining several geographic developments, so Marie naturally knows. But she never cared about such a bullshit theory. The only thing she cares about is if there's anything here that can impress her sweet blood!

The massive bat that crashed finally caught the attention of this mountain master, a rare three-headed Chimera flew up into the sky and dived down towards her at high speed.

Chimera is a powerful magical creature with a lion's head, a sheep's body, and a snaketail. Ordinary Chimera has only one head and throws out a flame with extremely strong adhesion. And once Chimera grows three heads, it will have three different elemental properties: flame, venom, and wind blade.

Such monsters are placed in the land of sorcerers or can barely be squeezed into the ranks of intermediate monsters, but here they are already extremely powerful advanced monsters.

When she suddenly saw a monster who could interest herself, Mary immediately became agitated, causing this three-headed Chimera to quickly travel through the jungle. Her body is much thinner and thinner and can be quickly inserted between the almost impervious canopy of a tall ancient tree. And Chimera, who is strong enough to reach twelve meters in wingspan, has difficulty swimming like her.

So, in a series of crackling branches, Chimera was like a ramming forklift, opening a Kangzhuang Avenue in the dense jungle.

In such a narrow space, Clumsy Chimera is far less light and flexible than a bloodsucking bat. So after a long chase, the angry three-headed Chimera rushed into the sky, drowning wildly in the area where the giant bat was.
