Age of Adepts

Chapter 200 Night of Terror

A temporary camp.

The battalion is located in a pile of rocks.

Two or three metres tall, rocky stacked together, seemingly chaotic and disorderly, can provide some sense of security to the camp's out-of-the-box residents.

The forest fog is wet.

Although it is already late at night, travellers staying in piles of rocks have not set fire to the campfire to expel the moisture, let alone to talk. In Black Tone's boulder shadow, three or five adventurers wrapped their bodies in thick animal skins and felt, trying to get themselves into their dreamland.

However, the scene seen during the day was too exciting for anyone in the camp to fall asleep.

“Silo, do you think we can make it back alive?” Hunter Poole gently stabbed his fellow villagers on the side of his body and asked in the lowest voice.

Silo was an archer, and he was already the best archer in the village where they used to be.

Silo turned around and did not answer the questions of his peers.

Poole, however, tacitly found his companion shaking slightly through the physical contact just now. However, he did not ask his companion why, because at this moment his body was trembling incessantly.

That tall, demonic, horrible fireman, that trembles the entire mountain forest, that devours the flames of heaven and earth... so easily, two knights master and three or five mercenaries buried in the flames, became the new unjust souls of the evil sorcerer.

And I'm afraid every one of those characters is millions of times stronger than himself!

Whenever I think of the scene I saw lying on the edge of a tree this afternoon, Poole felt his soul trembling. As if... as if I were the Lord of the Horseman devoured by the fierce flames, the only thing I could do was raise my neck and make the last great cry of my life!

Poole finally mustered the courage to ask softly to the shadow on the other side of the camp, "Lord Morse, can we go back alive? ”

“Shut up! You want to bring in those wizards?” In the shadows came Lord Morse, the breaking knight, to blame, but the swinging tone softened again: “Don't think so much. Our mission is to explore the perimeter of Snakebird Cliff. Tomorrow you will only have to go 3 miles further to complete your mission, and then you will naturally be able to get your reward back to the camp. That's 30 gold soles, enough to keep you safe for 10 years! ”

Perhaps thinking about a happy life after getting paid, Poole's big stone finally loosened a little. Once again, he wrapped his thick skin around his body and tried to keep it warm.

However, Poole did not know that the dirt in the centre of the camp had suddenly arched a basin-sized sack just as he was trying to make himself fall into his dreamland. With the rupture of the soil at the top of the soil envelope, countless black scorpions erupted from the interior, dividing into five black tides, silently pouring into the surrounding shadows.

A moment later, the Shadow suddenly sounded the angry roar of the Morse Knight.

“Wake up... everybody, wake up... here comes the evil bug! ”

As the energy shield's fluorescence flashed, the Flaming Sword began to explode in his hands. With the bright, blind flame of light, this humble camp is instantly lit up. There were five men in the camp, two Demon Hunters and two Mercenary Hunters in addition to his broken knight.

Unfortunately, when the flashing light shines on this camp, only he and a hunter's knight are able to jump out of the felt. None of the other 3 companions responded in the slightest, looking at only one creeping animal skinned mattress and felt.

“Damn...” Morse cursed angrily: "Grab your weapon and prepare for battle...”

In fact, he did not need to remind that the Gemwood knight had struggled to beat out many scorpions on his body, resisted that wave of stunning sensations, and worked hard to draw out his rune sword.

The scorpions went into the felt and stabbed him with a poison nail, but it was strange not to feel any pain. If Lord Morse hadn't woken him up with a loud roar, he would have died silently in his sleep, just like another Hound Knight.

Flaming long swords pierced the ground and violent flame shockwaves instantly swept across the camp.

Under the powerful burst force of the Morse knights, those scorpions that swept wildly towards them were swallowed by fierce elemental flames, and the camp was filled with tremendous bugs with soft teething legs.

Yet, in the dawn and darkness of thousands of flames, the wormhole in the centre of the camp collapsed suddenly, and more and more beetles gushed out of it. They come together, stacked into a creep, moving a horrible pile of worms, and rising little by little.

Soon, a human figure made up of horror bugs appeared in the centre of the camp.

Seeing the evil sorcerer in such a strange way, the eyes of the two knights were filled with unseen despair, and their hearts were soaked with ice and snow, and they were completely cool.

Evil Bug Entik is here!

…………

Within a cliff-bottom stone cave 12 miles northwestern.

Bright bonfires burning in the bears.

The hole is covered with a thick felt, and outside the hole is a densely ventilated wild vine, but there is no risk that the fire will be detected.

Four people in the cave sat in groups beside the campfire, silently wiping their weapons and protective equipment, without any interest or enthusiasm for conversation.

Luckily, they led the hunters down to this hidden stone hole before dark, where a resting place could ignite a bonfire to drive away the moisture from the mountain forest. Otherwise, they will stay in the wilderness, and they will not dare to set their heads on fire.

Any light in the darkness can be seen more than a dozen miles away in the deep leafy Greenland forest. Although no flying beast or fierce monster can be found in this mountain forest, there are evil sorcerers lurking far more terrible than wild beasts.

Over the course of two days, their four-man squad travelled less than 30 miles in the mountains and had been attacked more than 15 times by witches.

Thirty-five dozen or so of these witches roam the mountain forest, and once they perceive the human breath, they come up like mad dogs. They are either plague dogs, wild buffaloes, or poisonous arrow frogs… of course, they also encounter a strange monster created by the combination of pterodactylus and human spears!

None of these weird creatures are normal, carrying either this horrible plague or viral fungus, or bloody, at first glance, the horrible evils of several jungle beasts clustered together!

It was with the powerful flame blade half way from Lord Torn Knight that they broke through.

Luckily, they were attacked by many witches, but did not meet evil wizards!

The mountains of the southern Greenland Forest range fluctuate, and the forest sea is vast and bursts into the dense forest, making it difficult to see each other even 100 metres apart. So a dozen wizards scattered in such a huge space that it was almost impossible to completely block the infiltration of a cavalier team.

So it's not really weird that they came all the way here and didn't meet a wizard.

In the afternoon, however, distant fighting, which they had spyed on in a mountain bag, silenced them. A team that is no less powerful than their team was defeated by the Fire Demon's ambush!

Deeply, knights also have great resistance to high-ranking infiltration investigations that force them to die. But look back, such a vast sea of reckless forest, without a specific goal, more than 2,000 Knights of the Hunter can only be pulled in and turned around aimlessly.

By then, I'm afraid more than 2,000 people will have eaten and drank Lhasa enough to drag down the whole team, not to mention finding and fighting the enemy in the deep mountain forest!

So even though every day the Hound Knight dies painfully deep in the jungle, the Knights senior remains firmly committed to the scout team infiltration plan.

With the lives of more than twenty lawbreaking knights and more than fifty hunter knights, the edge of this forest has been completely explored and the Wizard's defensive line has retreated step by step. Perhaps in three or four days, they'll have a thorough look at this vast forest of two or three hundred miles and find the nest where the enemy is hiding.

At that time, it was a wonderful moment for them to rise up and destroy the Evil Sorcerer's lair!

However, the vision, despite its beauty, requires greater sacrifice and effort on their part if it is to be achieved. As for whether or not I could live to see that beautiful moment, the hearts of the two lawbreaking knights in the stone cave were still a little stunned.

Yet just as the crowd was stunned by the beating bonfire, a strange knock came from the hole.

“Bell... is anyone here? ”

“Who?” A hunter came out shocked. Only then do you realize that you are in the middle of a wilderness, where is the door? Where's the visitor?

“A lonely traveler! If you don't object, I'll come in!” The outside sounds rather strange, the mune hissing and not half popular at all.

“Since Your Excellency is here, come on in! You don't have to hide outside pretending to be a ghost!” Ntos, the breaking knight, stood up slowly, and the energy shield and the long blade of fire began to shine a fluorescent light.

Suddenly, he turned his head amazingly toward his companion sitting beside him.

Heim, the same broken knight, was still sitting there, his forehead blue, his face rose red and his teeth creaked.

“What happened to you?” Ntos asked aloud.

The simple phrase, "I am fast... controlled by..." was broken apart by what the Knight Heim said. After that, he even turned red in his eyes.

Knight Ntos worked hard to force the long sword of fire in his hand, and the sudden flame of elements instantly illuminated the entire stone hole, as well as the Knight Heim.

Only a translucent creepy thread floated in the void behind the Heim knight sitting on the felt, all stuck inside his body, while the other side silently extended over the wall of the hole.

“Damn, it's a puppet!” Knight Ntos growled furiously and a blade broke out, cutting off the seven or eight strange void filaments in diameter.

With the help of his companions, the Heim Knight finally got rid of the silk thread behind him and quickly jumped up and growled: “Everyone is ready, here comes the Evil Wizard Puppet...”

Yet, in his roar, two mercenaries, also sitting by the campfire, stood up obliquely, with a strange smile on their faces and swords up against them.
