Age of Adepts

Chapter 226 Battle of Defense

The fire in the jungle is getting closer!

Several areas have been broken through, high above the demons, the knights of the hunters with their dazzling swords have frequently appeared on the edge of the witch camp, and the witches, mechanical beasts and carnivores guarding there have unleashed a special death battle for your death and my life.

If the camp wasn't surrounded by a large number of witchcraft traps, I'm afraid a bunch of hunter knights would have poured into the camp and started directly sieging the war witch towers.

But even so, as the fires burn beneath the tower, the space reserved for the wizards becomes smaller and smaller. Gradually, the last resistance gathered in front of the main gate of the Witch Tower. Thirteen wizards who vowed to defend themselves died guarding this place.

On this flat battlefield of less than 500 metres, there are a variety of summoning and puppet beasts active up to 300, and those of lower rank have been filled under the Knight Hunter's slaughterknife.

The mountainous forests around the witch tower have been devastated, with flaming seas and raging natural storms everywhere. Once the fierce fire ignites, it will be difficult to extinguish, and the mountains and forests of dozens of miles will be plunged into the flames.

A team of Knight Hunter fishes drilled out of the mountain forest and began to gather outside the camp.

There are still traces of burning licks on their faces, and the fine scratches cut by the wind blades can be seen on top of the armor. Despite the terrible price they have been paid through this terrible region, with hope of victory and with hatred for the wizards, they struggled to move forward and eventually came under this terrible witch tower.

Three, three, two, two, hunter knights came together and reorganized the team. Nine shining knights headed with fewer than 4000 hunter knights to continue to advance against the last line of defense of the wizards.

Looking back!

In this jungle, in a narrow area of less than five miles, the Knights of the Great Army gave the lives of two shining knights, 33 breaking knights and more than 2,000 hunter knights. Such a heavy price is beyond everyone's imagination!

The rugged mountainous jungle is simply a burial ground, where the bodies of an incomplete knight and the wreckage of a broken chimp can be seen everywhere. Now, as the volcano spreads, everything is devoured by the flaming fire!

To be honest, if Green Dragon Squad and Dragon Knight's constant diving attacks in the sky hadn't damaged most of the Wizards' layout, I'm afraid the Hunter Knight's casualties would have been even greater and more severe!

Compared to the Knights' sacrifice, in this jungle, there are also 2 witches who have crossed paths and fallen forever!

This also means that the Sarubo family has sent wizards to the knighthood, and the number of damages has reached as high as seven. This... this is getting closer to the psychological bottom line that was booked at the top of the family! Once the number of damaged wizards exceeds nine, the family won't be able to develop them quickly, I'm afraid, even if it takes this position.

After all, the foundation of the family that guards the world of wizards needs wizards, and it also needs wizards to guard two secondary levels. Bringing out the dominant power of a certain sorcerer in a short period of time for a confrontational war would not have much impact or impact on the situation on the ground. But once the dominance of the family has been held hostage for a long time in a region or too much power has been lost, the overall pattern of rule at the family level becomes unstable.

Successful assaults on the knighthood may yield substantial returns to the Sarubo family each year, but maintaining this rule requires strong strength. The same applies to the other two sub-levels. Once the main family leaves for too long and the indigenous opposition there hears a new wave of resistance, there will be some loss!

So when two wizards died in a sneak attack by the Dragon Knight, senior family members finally issued a decision to strategically shrink and hold the gates of the Witch Tower.

At this moment, the construction inside the Witchtower held 11 wizards, so there were only 13 last wizards left to defend at the gates of the Witchtower, including the second-degree wizard, Vergen.

At the top of the team are, of course, a group of physically aggressive wizards, predominantly three purified wizards, assisted by a large number of summoning creatures. Grimm and the Hyde Wizard are spread out on both sides to aid in defense, as they also have a good physique after their transformation.

More wizards remain in the protective circle, constantly throwing a wide range of powerful witchcraft into the cavaliers of the densely integrated forest. Most of those wizards who are not good at fighting also work part-time as special wizards, throwing out large amounts of drugs to summon strange summoning creatures, or pulling out bagged scrolls of witchcraft and frantically knocking them over the knights' heads.

Two wizards who specialize in cursing witchcraft have begun their insane manoeuvres, throwing a cursed halo of varying colors into the most dense area of the knight.

Just after rushing 30 meters in front of the wizard, the hunter knight in the front row was put on a colorful disgusting cursed halo. He was dizzy, weak and powerless. He also brushed a thick layer of mud on his body, and his hands and feet slowly became abnormal.

Let the knights turn even the fiercest outbursts into funny slow moves.

The ground is filled with all sorts of horrible demonic plants, wrapped, punctured, or blood-sucking… causing tremendous trouble for the Hard Warrior Knights!

The Hunter Knight strike at the rear was blocked, only to put away the sword and replace it with a Rufu bow, a flame arrow and a cold ice arrow flew into the area of the Wizard's defense like a rain spot.

A weak attack with such an element could not have posed any threat to the wizards. But they can't stand each other, and the wizards are losing a lot of strength.

So the three bodily wizards swelled like horrible giants, flying through the air, smashing every hunter knight who broke into their sight into meat sauce, erecting a protective barrier and struggling to block the knights from another kind of long-range attack.

Strong in strength, the refiners may be able to resist such a density of uninterrupted attacks, but the blood giants clustered around them, the monsters, rock puppets, evil eyes and other summoning creatures are unbearable, one by one in the struggle to kill and fall down with arrows, disappearing.

Soon, the courageous hunter knights crossed a witchcraft trap with flesh and blood, breaking into the wizard's defensive circle and slaughtering them at close range.

Three Alchemists defend the front, while Grimm is assigned to the left.

Here, he alone needs to defend a wide line of nearly 70 metres. And his former Legion of Demon Puppets has been completely depleted in the Death Jungle, and now the only people left standing in front of him are the Fire Lord, the Lightning Giant, and two Quasi-Wolf Water Men!

Once upon a time, the Lightning Giant was a powerful master warrior puppet under Grimm's command. But with his promotion to the rank of wizard, this quasi-woman level of demon puppet is already difficult to keep up with. Even if they occasionally appear on the battlefield, they have become some kind of consumable.

But even more difficult, his situation is tens of thousands more powerful than that of the Hyde wizard on the other side.

Grimm's men, anyway, have four more to share the pressure, while Hyde Wizards need a man alone to defend such a vast battlefield space.

Had it not been for his robotic body, as long as his mental strength had not been exhausted, he would have had an inexhaustible amount of physical strength, in exchange for another sorcerer, who would have been tired just running back and forth to clean up the swept up knight.

In the jungle, they encounter impossible opponents, who can also run, fly, or convert directly to battlefields. But here, even if you face a team of broken knights, you can only bite the hard top of your teeth and defend your position with your life.

As for reinforcements? As long as there is no Knight of Glory, then a 2nd level Vergan Wizard will never do it!

So Grimm had the privilege of stealing a glimpse of the Hyde Wizard's English figure.

By the inherent nature of a wizard, Hyde must have hidden some of his strength. But when a team of five broken knights killed him, hiding his strength would be difficult, unless he wanted to live.

So the next second, the Hyde Wizard turns into a giant octopus with a dozen big metal tentacles. With the exception of the head and a small part of the body that retains the human figure in its central position, other body parts are quickly assembled into a horrible metal tip tentacle that sweeps away like a storm to several lawbreaking knights.

No wonder the thunderbird named Big Boss Hyde had the horrible power of a far supernormal man when he fought close. Following Grimm's heartbreaking gaze, the leader of Hyde cut five broken knights alive into scattered pieces.

And he's only paying for minor injuries in the district!

Three of the twelve metal tentacles were severed and two suffered varying degrees of damage. When the Hyde Wizard regained the human form from the octopus form, there were also extensive defects on the surface of the body. Numerous rapidly rotating gears and bearings in the body also emit squeaky murmurs, which seem to have become less intelligent.

And at this moment, Grim's luck is reversed!

A shiny knight appeared before him with two broken knights and nearly a hundred hunter knights, howling and rushing up. At this time, even three refinery wizards silently withdrew from the area as the second-degree Vulcan wizard was fighting two shiny knights in the front of the position.

Due to the small size of the battlefield, Grim's transformed fire demons have difficulty creating a lava pond wide enough for their puppets to withstand such a powerful assault force.

So Grimm can only roar and die!
