Age of Adepts

Chapter 331 Bloodsucking Bats

Reckless mountain forest, lush forest sea.

The moment the bug sang the cicada was replaced by a strange vibrating sound.

pū pū pū...

The dense swarm of cloudy manta flocked out and almost instantly brought the group together.

Black and dark bright short plush, scarlet eyes, white fangs, and basin-sized bodies… these are not common wild bats in mountain forests, but a group of blood-sucking bats that have been transformed by evil witchcraft.

In their qualities, they are not even orthodox vampires, but some blood slaves and derivatives made by orthodox vampires.

Their power against the two Shining Knights in front of them and the three Lawbreaking Knights is undoubtedly overwhelming with Egg Strike Stones. But after the five knights threw away their troubled coarse cloth capes, they all gathered together with their nervous backs, seemingly afraid of something.

At the deepest point of the distant dense forest, a tall figure wrapped around a bright red skirt is standing on a large, stretched branch of tree, looking remotely at the cavalier team through a patchy leaf gap. And beside her, every branch of a tall ancient tree was hung upside down with dense, numb, bloodsucking bats.

More than a hundred bloodsucking bats hung all over the tree were the SS that Mary the Bloody Witch really valued compared to the battling bats. They all have calf-like bodies, grey plush, furry, skinny faces, and anthropomorphic faces.

They hang upside down on branches, watching the surrounding mountain forests, and from time to time open their sharp-toothed mouths to emit high-frequency sound waves that are hard to catch, maintaining close contact with the peripheral 'sentinel'.

But by Mary's side, there are still eight dressed as knights with bloody vampires. They are the Blood Knight, the killer that Mary dared to hunt down with impunity the Fugitive Knight.

There are eight Blood Knights.

There are 3 Blood Knights of Level 2 Strength and 5 Blood Knights of Level 1 Strength.

And their predecessors were the shining knights and the breaking knights who ruled this side.

But after Mary's first vampire embrace and witchcraft dual control, they have long lost their nature and become the first vampires to behold. But then their own intelligence will be significantly diminished, and most of their pre-rebirth combat skills will be forgotten.

So the 2nd Blood Knight has a strong body and a strong ability to regenerate blood, but can only use the 1st Elite Wizard level. This is especially unfortunate for Mary!

As for the first blood knights, they were just a vampire with wizard power.

The first group of blood-sucking bats, like wolves wrapped around the periphery of a flock of sheep, whistle their ears out, while wearing a right slip left in the dense woods where branches flourish. More than 600 bats converge in the dense woods of less than 100 metres, only with their bodies to shield them from the harsh solidity.

And even stranger, with such a high biological density, they're worn one by one without any collision. This makes their flying skills all the more admirable!

Six months of fugitive hiding has left this group of Hound Knights without their previous strength. Without the support of the Knight kingdom, they no longer have the martial arts, no more magic crystals to feed, no more food, no warmth, no sleep... this has also led to a serious decline in their fighting power.

Without them, they can only rely on their legs for water; without magic crystallization, their Ruwen sword becomes a firecracker and no longer inspires that kind of burning elemental flame. If you want to start a half-range energy blade, you can only rely on your own energy reserves.

This is clearly not going to last!

But even so, when the Ruwen Sword is in their hands, and the glowing energy fluorescence starts to roll within them, the power displayed by these high-ranking knights remains so fierce and unparalleled!

An energetic blade shoots out, destroying and decaying everywhere, unlikely to defend.

Whether it's a tall tree held together by one person, a thick branch of the arm, or the oily, bright leather body of a bloodsucking bat, it splits into two parts under the sword blade, and then bursts into heavenly grass and debris and stinking purple blood.

The team of five obviously are experienced generations, swiftly moving between the woods while opening the road with an energy sword blade, a sworn appearance of death.

And many blood-sucking bats obviously have no choice.

When they become bats, they belong to unarmed or light-armed targets who want to fight off their weak bodies with an energy blade that reaches 30—50 degrees of attack strength, which is a dream.

So they can only squeak and squeak and fantasize about interfering with the enemy's movements in dense numbers.

As for the blood-sucking bats that rushed into the Knight Squad's defensive circle, it was even worse.

A Ruwen sword made of special magic steel waved like lightning in the hands of a high-ranking knight. Five swords were surrounded by a circle of swords, and all the bats that broke into them were slaughtered before they could get close to them.

Mary, who stands on the periphery of her men being slaughtered, has no sense whatsoever.

For her, only these blood knights and low-ranking vampires around deserve attention. As for the peripheral blood slaves and derivatives, there is no more heartache in death. If the quantity is not enough, find a human city to hold a blood donation feast, and the amount of low-ranking servants will soon be replenished.

So, these guys are already victims, and they're not worth it!

In this wilderness mountain, however, it is difficult to replenish blood slaves immediately, so Mary does not intend to drain these ashes.

With Mary's slight wave, a dozen low-order vampires trapped beside her instantly flew off for nearly half a mile, and Palla clapped her wings and blended into the blood-sucking bats.

“Careful, there's a vampire coming!” The knight leader in the team whispered.

Countless partners have fallen under the vampire's fangs either because of physical inactivity or because of accidental accidents in the pursuit of escape for much of the past six months.

These vampires may not be very aggressive or defensive, but they are extremely good at fighting.

They mix in ordinary blood-sucking bats, and as soon as they see the opportunity, they quickly plunge into human form as they rush to the side of the target. Without avoiding the knight's attack, they fit so well that they scratch the flesh and flesh of the torn knight falling outside their armor in exchange for injuries.

Such a fearless attack is outrageous!

If only one or two vampires fought so hard, the knights could handle it with their sword armor, but if a group of vampires came up, even the breaking knights would have difficulty resisting such attacks.

So with the addition of the vampire pack, the five-man knight squad struggles harder.

The Knights of Glory have far more physical strength than these vampires, so killing them is like cutting a melon's vegetable. So the vampires rushed the blood-sucking bats up to haunt the two shiny knights, and they quickly assembled and constantly impacted the defensive circles around the three breaking knights.

In a violent and bloody battle, a broken knight slaughtered a mutant bat from his own body, waving his sword, without even noticing the low bushes beneath his feet.

One shrugged, and he fell two steps back, ‘away’ from the defensive circle.

Such a change immediately surprised him with a cold sweat. Before he could stand still, he waved his sword and wanted to rush back to his companion, who was nearby.

Too bad it's too late!

Pfft...

At one time, countless blood-sucking bats poured into the knight's circle from this gap, and all the knights were stirred up with horrible numbers.

And just as they had no time to worry about the timeliness, the masses of vampires descended from the sky, with their insane bodies impinging on the Sword Formation of the Leaving Horsemen.

Blood splash, limbs fly across!

Yet in this bloody rainstorm, the further away they were from the shape of the knights, they gradually disappeared into the sight of the crowd.

pū pū pū...

Successive blades of energy rushed to the sky, instantly cutting the surrounding group of blood-sucking bats into scattered chunks of meat, the sky's bloody rain sprinkled, and everyone's body was dyed red.

The enemies had just been emptied, and before they could reconcile the violent energy agitation in their bodies, a new batch of blood-sucking manta swarmed them from all sides, suppressing them again.

And through the chaotic gap between the bats, the knights can almost hear a dozen paces of exotic peers screaming and chopping. Soon, however, with a terrible scream, the distant noise gradually stopped, leaving only that strange, teethy leg sucking.

“No, Chief, we're going to save Stoffer!” The mighty Han Ro Carl, waving a giant axe, is already tired of panting, and his muscles are full of greasy sweat.

“Save what? Can't you see he's dead?” Sim chopped it so desperately, he growled furiously.

The team is already incomplete, and I'm afraid if we stay here because of a man who must die, it will be difficult for either of them to escape today. So he proposed to Locar, who only had muscles and no brains, he hated it.

“I don't care, I won't leave any of my brothers...” His eyes have killed a bloody Locar. He growled angrily, turning his figure and driving away with a giant axe, killing all alone to the distance.

Damn, damn, damn, damn...

If not, the knight leader has made a quick decision without waiting for Sim to curse.

“You take Sim first, I'll bring Locar back. We meet at the agreed location…”

Quickly, the Knight's leader's body is covered in brilliant fluorescence for the next second. These symbolic energies emanated from his body and condensed into an armor of light on the surface of his body, which also gave him more violent and fierce combat abilities.

When the dazzling sword blade shines brightly, the fluttering bat corpse falls like a rain spot.

“Go, go, I'll catch up with you in a minute...”

The Knight leader stormed into the dense forest with a loud roar.
