Age of Adepts

Chapter 426 Witch Tower Construction

The two sides met again inside the witch tower.

Ten days later, this newly-built witch tower seemed to have gone through hundreds of years. Whether it's the witch tower itself or the lava lobby where the witch tower is situated, there's a terrible aftermath of the war everywhere.

The last time we met, it was still dark, only glowing rocks, glowing crystals and phosphorous mosses, lichens, fungi and other things.

However, this time around, what you see is a lava lobby that is constantly glowing with red light!

Inside the cave, after all the external attachments were soaked by the lava sea, all the stone columns, walls and soil that could not withstand the heat of the magma were rolled away, leaving only volcanic rocks and lava rocks that could withstand high temperatures of erosion.

So the topography here, compared to the last time, is completely topographical, totally unorthodox.

On the rock walls around the lava lobby, the color and texture differences between the lower red and black are even more striking, so that visitors can fully appreciate the ordeal and suffering of the witch tower in the past few days.

Looking at the traumatized tower of the witch tower and the unbearable tower, the three Silver Alliance wizards were forced to remain silent. It means that they know exactly what it means. Now that Grimm is still able to stand here and talk to them, that means the monsters have failed.

The monsters who came to attack are either hiding in a dark corner licking their wounds or planning their next attack. But anyway, this little wizard from the Sarubo clan has taken the lead in the Black Forest for the first time.

As long as the supply is strong, the tower will be nailed here as hard as a nail, leaving all the monsters biting and cutting their teeth to no avail.

After all, wizards with witch towers have an overwhelming advantage in all aspects. And these strengths are hard to reverse by quantity!

But after browsing the number of wizards and apprentices inside the tower, three silver robe wizards were forced to shake their heads silently. Such quantity and quality are excessive and insufficient, making it difficult, I am afraid, to deal a devastating blow to attackers.

And once those monster chiefs escape, there's a chance that they'll come back to life.

As for the three silver robe wizards, the main reason for this conclusion is that Grimm has dispatched the newly subdued Dana, Anguga, Lin Demon, Bird Demon and Snake Demon.

Therefore, only Grimm, Grigg and Merrill, as well as Kodal, Am and Sabrina, are present in the Witchtower. As for the rest of those apprentices, they have little role to play in front of the monster tide!

So three silver robe wizards privately speculated that Grimm should have used the lava seas beneath the lava wells, chosen the fire to irrigate the lava lobby, and then forced the monsters back.

In this way, without a real victory for either side, hatred and war between the two sides will continue indefinitely! In this case, even if there are rare resources in the nearby black forest, it will be difficult to effectively exploit them because of the effects of the war.

This… apparently lowered Grimm's base rating by a few points for three silver robe wizards!

“There are only three wizards, and one is clearly a newcomer. Has the Sarubo Clan been unable to send men to help them?” An incredible silver robe communicates in a whisper of heart.

“Don't forget, it's like his private witch tower. Probably didn't get family support for his actions! ”

“So his family sent him out to die? This is the Black Forest, and building towers here can be sieged by monsters. Didn't this guy know about it? ”

“Whatever! Our task is to build a good witch tower based on the needs of our customers, so don't worry about anything else...”

The three silver robe wizards spoke privately while discussing the repair and rehabilitation of the tower with Grimm.

After the Great War, the damage inside and outside the witch tower was so severe that it was not inexpensive to try to repair it properly. Also, the witchcraft facilities inside the witch tower are not complete, so this is the perfect opportunity to replenish them together.

Except, of course, the teleportation formation!

Therefore, the two sides engaged in intense discussions around the issue of fees, which culminated in the final amount of 167,000 magic crystals being finalized after the senior executives of the comptoirs had been consulted. As for Grimm's last purchase of interracial slaves, he had also arrived in the town of Songta and was on his way to the tower under the escort of a group of mercenaries, which would arrive in about four days.

167,000 Demon Crystals… such a huge expense is that some old wizards may not be able to take it out either. And when Meryl and Gerger heard about it, they were all pale, and they looked unbearably heavy on their hearts.

They are all involved in the construction of the Witch Tower from scratch to scratch.

The base cost of building a Witch Tower is 200,000 Demon Crystals, plus the 110,000 Demon Crystals that the Monster has attacked and damaged, plus 167,000 Demon Crystals this time around... which means Grim has spent nearly 500,000 Demon Crystals in a month to build a private Wizard Tower!

This number gives Merrill, a newcomer who has just emerged from his apprenticeship status, and Grigg, a wandering sorcerer, an almost suffocating sense of oppression.

No wonder so many wizards are willing to spend their whole lives running their own witch towers, essentially, or because they are like a golden monster. If you let it grow, the horrible crystal drain can make a sorcerer cry!

Grimm, of course, cannot produce as many magic crystals as he does in a while, with only 30,000 magic crystals in his hand, and the rest is offset by 1.1 million magic stones and a huge number of magic gems.

So it took the Silver Robe Wizards a day just to deliver the magic stones and appreciate the gems.

Seeing the vast array of magic stones in the mountains and seas of the Witch Tower Warehouse, several Silver Robe Wizards had to change their basic assessment of Grimm. The ability to capture such quantities of magic stones should be a great victory from either angle.

Is it true that this Grimm wizard relied on only three wizards to defeat and destroy the main force of the Monster Army? Though this fact is hard to believe, the magic stone in front of it is truly unblemished. If those monsters didn't lose a fortune, how could they let them come in and out here to scratch resources and usurp the Black Forest...

I can't. The monsters are dead, right?

How do the three silver robe wizards know that the guesswork they whisper out from the bottom of their hearts is actually the most accurate answer! It's just that the answer is so incredible that they don't dare to believe it themselves.

With several silver robe wizards, the witchcraft facilities in the witch tower are perfected almost at visible speeds. And the dense cracks and countless breakages on the tower were easily repaired by the silver wizards.

Everyone has their own specialty!

It has to be said that these Orthodox wizards specializing in one direction, in their respective fields of excellence, are simply divine great beings. Things that are almost impossible for outsiders to do are easy to do.

As a result of their hard work, the tower was repaired and maintained in only three days. On that day, six servants purchased by Grimm arrived smoothly at the witch tower.

Since the original landmark of the Sick Woods had completely disappeared, Grimm thought about it and named his witch tower ‘Flame Throne’ instead of the new underground tunnel ‘Flame Cave’. As for the future development of the surface in depth, he does not mind the establishment of a "Flame City" here, dominated by humans!

After all the construction was completed, both sides settled the fees and three silver wizards left the Fire Throne, escorted by a group of human mercenaries. Grimm also threw two half-baked gourmands into the kitchen, two dwarf craftsmen into the statue factory and two elves into the garden of witchcraft.

Half-body height is about 3 feet (about 1 meter) and usually weighs between 30 and 35 pounds (about 30 kg). Their skin is red, their hair is dark and straight, and they have brown eyes.

Almost all the slaves sent by the Silver Union to the Witch Tower were men and women.

In contrast, the male half retains longer horns, while the female half is slightly softer. Both men and women have excellent cooking skills that allow them to swallow their tongues. This has been well received by everyone on and off the Witch Tower!

As for the dwarves, I'm sorry, but Grimm swept up and down for half a day, and couldn't tell who was male or female from those two dwarves who were less than a meter and two tall, rough looking, bearded.

Their bodies are strong like a mountain, their muscles are hard like rocks, and their temper, like their appearance, stinks and is hard...

It was beyond Grimm's imagination that even a dwarf woman had a thick, reddish-brown moustache and spoke with a heavy voice like a thunder in her ear.

When I think of a couple of dwarves lying in a bed at night, Grimm can't help but catch a chill...

And that pair of Pokémon is the opposite of Dwarves.

They are only about half a metre tall.

A thin, weak body, a handsome face, clear skin, green eyes, and a pair of sharp ears… If they were smaller, with wings as thin as cicada wings, they would be almost exactly like the elemental elves in Alice's Fate Tower.

But the elemental elves are overflowing with powerful magical energy, and the little elves in front of them are overflowing with fragrant grassy notes.

They belong to small plant monsters, are naturally good at handling magical and xenogenetic plants and are therefore indispensable gardeners of witchcraft gardens.

As Grimm seems to have seen in some books, this little elf is actually a heterogeneous creature of flowers and elves that the wizards plundered from the ancient Elf Empire.

Seriously, they belong to a kind of witchcraft!
