Age of Adepts

Chapter 436 Battle in the Jungle

Tiffany was born in the Verna region.

It is also the traditional territory of the Rin Winter Witch.

As the first witch apprentices to be sent to Fate Tower, Tiffany, like the rest of the witch apprentices, has low talent potential and is generally too young.

In this way, the Fate Tower wants to nurture them and then send them out to take control of resource points and secular territories that are scattered around the periphery, dramatically delaying their time backwards. Then, those territories and resource points will remain in the hands of the major factions, and disguises weaken the growth rate of the destiny system.

Of course, these are so-called masterminds.

There's nothing Alice can do about it, even if she knows it.

Who called her powerless and without the support of powerful figures behind her, plainly dropped the title of Destiny Witch Leader, but her men had nothing but a lonely tall tower and two ‘comrades’ who had fought and died.

Perhaps that's one of the main reasons why fate chose her!

“Come with me, Tiffany!” Alice leaned down and gently caressed her smooth face: “Perhaps I have a task waiting for you...”

Go ahead, Alice is going to grow on her own.

The little girl who was left on the spot was stunned for half a day before suddenly waking up like a dreamer and holding onto a thick book of witchcraft with her hands tight. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

…………

The flame throne is close to the sight of a day.

Mercenary adventurers have been cautious in their activities ever since mercenaries discovered signs of monster build-up in the northern mountains.

Although the Flame Throne has also issued several high-prize missions to explore monster activity, few adventurers dare to penetrate the northern region.

As the Fire Throne became a subordinate mission point of the Scattered Tallinn Wizards Association, many Wizard Apprentices were tempted here by high mission returns. They formed apprenticeship teams active in the mountainous forests of the north, where monsters are increasingly active, with some disturbing news from time to time.

It is now almost certain that there are about seven Monster Chiefs active near the Fire Throne Witch Tower. Three of these demon dogs, Medusa, and the Two-Legged King have lived here for centuries, while Red Flame Tigers, giant barbarians, double-headed cannibals, and Abe Bees are new communities migrating from the depths of the Black Forest.

Red Flame Tiger, a fire-type monster whose tail burns with a golden flame, has flame damage when attacking their claws and teeth, and a strong tiger tail behind it is no less than a long flame whip. The advantage of such a monster is that it moves quickly and attacks violently, the disadvantage being that it does not have the means to attack remotely.

The giant barbarian elephant is a terrible monster several times bigger than an ordinary elephant. Adult barbarians are amazingly tall and terribly powerful, and have no other means of witchcraft. They are like purifying wizards in monsters, and all the powers of witchcraft are used to strengthen their flesh * body and strength.

So the giant barbaric elephant belongs to a rather barbaric and powerful magic creature!

In the past, when massive waves of beasts erupted in human settlements, the biggest headache for the human guard was the giant barbarian elephant that lined up to launch a barbaric assault. Everywhere they go, ordinary human defences simply cannot resist such a fierce, wild, hard impact.

As soon as they open a gap, the subsequent beast tide becomes more and more irresistible!

Double-headed Ogre is a Fae in the Ogre community.

Ordinary cannibals, though tall and mighty and powerful, belong only to jungle creatures after all, and do not fall within the category of monsters. But once the Cannibal Demon population reaches 100, there is a good chance that this mutant Cannibal Demon with two heads will be born.

Ordinary cannibal magic is an insulator of magic elements, and the brain is a foolish mess, and on average the entire population has only the intelligence of a human 3-year-old. But this double-headed cannibal is naturally endowed with extraordinary powers, capable of drawing the necessary knowledge and strength from the bloodline inheritance, thus possessing a strange ability to impose.

However, they possess a single witchcraft power, either auxiliary or ferocious lightning systems.

Overall, a single double-headed ogre is still easy to remove. If you meet a double-headed Ogre Wizard with a large number of his men and throw a 'bloodthirsty frenzy’ at them, you will be hunted down by hundreds of big men with stone sticks and hammers all over the world.

So, if you want to fight the idea of a double-headed Ogre Sorcerer, you really have a good body to fight!

As for the last Abe Bee, it's even worse.

The reason why they are not good is not how powerful an individual is, but how amazing their reproductive capacity is.

As long as there are enough ordinary creatures in a black forest, Abe bees can reproduce an astonishing number of communities in the shortest possible time, like hanging. So the number of Abe people is often proportional to the number of local 'food’ people.

If the number of bees exceeds the amount of food, Abe bees quickly nest. This nest often starts with only one Queen Abe and twenty bees as soldiers.

But once the Abe people are standing on their heels in their new habitat, the number of their communities will begin to rise at an explosive rate.

As for the Aberbees, their individual combat power is comparable to that of human apprentices, and they look like a mixture of elves and bees, with no low intelligence.

The Abe people have human-like limbs, except that each hand and foot has only four toes. Their bodies are covered in bristle-like fur with black or yellow spots on the edges. Their heads and faces are as refined and perfect as elves, but they have black insect eyes and long tentacles.

Of course, they are also like bees, with translucent wings, but they can't fly as fast or as high as those flying demons.

They attack by flying halfway through the sky, attacking enemies with quenching spears and bows. If they are closer, they can also fire poisonous bee spurs from their tails, which are no less powerful at close range than Enchanted Weapons.

And their greatest advantage still lies in that terrible amount.

Although individuals have only the strength of junior apprentices, the number can still pose a considerable threat to wizards if they gather more.

These horrible demonic communities are not good mess guys, so the trial apprentices who seek life on the Flame Throne can only limit their activities to the mountain forest within 50 miles of each other.

After all, this is the enclosed area of the witch tower, and the loss of magic elements is much faster than the surrounding area, so there will be no monsters to settle the community habitat nearby.

This creates a relatively safe power vacuum zone in the invisible!

And the Tall Tower apprentices used this safe zone as a barrier, frequently attacking, constantly diving into the monster hunting areas, harassing or ambushing the fallen beasts and monsters.

Of course, there's business!

The activity of the human apprentice has also led to numerous fierce monsters feeding on flesh and blood. Both sides have fought intellectually and bravely in the depths of the Black Forest, with one or two premeditated ambushes and massacres erupting almost daily. In the process, both sides suffered considerable losses.

Overall, however, the human apprentice still prevails.

After all, what stands behind them is a terrible witch tower that can resist the siege of thousands of monsters - the Fire Throne!

To defend against the Northern Monster attack, the Flame Throne formed a Tower Guard comprising Scorpion Lions, Bird Demons and Snake Demons to patrol the perimeter of the Flame Cave. Once the human apprentice is in distress and sends a signal, the nearest guard team can be summoned for backup.

Thus, with their tacit cooperation, the demonic communities converging in the northern woodlands continued to suffer piecemeal attacks and strangulations. Several newcomers to the monster community have sustained massive casualties and war damage, while the Apprentice of the High Tower has escaped the monster's ambush and siege many times, as if with the help of God.

In such a round-trip assassination, a large number of apprentices gained experience and, in turn, brought back a number of scarce resources in the Black Forest. If this situation persists for a long time, the Flame Throne will reap a flourishing group of Wizard Apprentices in the shortest possible time.

Yet where do these tall tower apprentices know that behind the battlefield they run across, there are more and deeper unknown secrets hidden. The ghastly Grigg Wizard, who is always on the second floor of the Witchtower, with a gloomy smile, is the mastermind behind everything.

Most of the apprentice's offensive and probing missions on the side of the witch tower were issued by him, and the details on the side of the monster continued to be transmitted.

He is like an eccentric wizard who plays chess with himself, trying to mobilize and leverage the resources around the witch tower. High tower apprentices and external apprentices who come to experiment are on the move. Most of the dangerous tasks fall on outsiders, while most of the oily, dangerous and minor tasks are entrusted to the apprentice's disciples.

Most of the monster targets attacked by the apprentices were predominantly newcomers to the monster community. As for Anguga and Medusa Dana, the three monster dogs loyal to Grimm, they became 'demonic rapes'. Although they were also fake and human apprentices could not resist the outbreak of conflict, they were secretly invading the territory of the newcomer monster community.

With this strategy of eating meat on both ends, the number of their communities is also slowly increasing, and the more powerful they are than before.

The true owner of the Fire Throne, the mighty Grim of Fire, gave up running the 'game’ of organizing the power of the Witch Tower and devolved all power to the Grigg Witch. He himself, on the other hand, fought a long journey to strengthen himself and sharpen his spiritual strength.

Because he sees clearly that the world of wizards is a cruel world of strength! A wizard's status is determined first by the power he possesses, and secondly by the power he possesses.

And the only way for a new wizard like him to stand out from scratch is to crush his opponent on an equal footing.

As for the business forces, it's just to facilitate their own access to resources!
