Age of Adepts

Chapter 440: Spiritual Sorcery

As the night drifted low, the tower grew into darkness.

After simply filling her stomach, Sabrina and Billis went into a room and never came out again.

Inside the tall tower of silence and darkness, only a little dim candlelight emits swaying shadows through narrow, elongated stone windows. In the light, it appears that a tall figure examines every room in the tall tower one by one.

Grimm strolled along a narrow, empty, dark corridor with a small candlestick in his hand, and five candles with thick thumbs emitted dull, faint candlelight. The candlestick's light does not even illuminate the walls on either side, allowing Grimm to cover it.

Walk slowly down the corridor holding a candlestick, whispering in Grimm's mouth.

“Come out... it's time for you to come out too... can't you always hide from the invisible? ”

Finally, just around the corner of Grimm's corridor on the second floor, the wooden door of a secret room suddenly opened.

Grimm smiled slightly and slowly walked to the wooden door holding the candlestick.

Wooden doors are semi-open and a black footprint is clearly printed on the floor in front of the door, depending on the size of the shape, only half of the human being, seemingly left behind by a small human creature.

Grimm gently tapped on the left-hand wizard wand and the wooden door opened completely, and the candlelight shone in and illuminated everything in the house.

Dusty floors, rudimentary decaying tables and chairs, and some red wooden boxes in the corners. And in the darkness out of the light, a miserable white figure with scattered hair stood there, his red eyes staring dead at Grimm through long hair gaps, filled with a chilling, malignant smell.

Grimm walked into the Chamber of Secrets without moving. The brighter the candlelight in the house, the fewer shadows to hide, the whiter shadow ended up squatting in the darkness behind the crate, making a creepy, pointy cry.

As Grimm prepared for further action, the wooden door behind him suddenly closed. This forced Grimm to look back, but by the time he turned his head again, the ‘ghost’ type of guy had disappeared.

“Chip, has that been documented? But what have you found?” Grimm had a slight heart and couldn't help but communicate with the chip.

“Abnormal force field changes are perceived... the subject is within an unknown force field, the mental fluctuations have been contaminated by unknown causes... Please stay away from force field sources as soon as possible, please stay away from force field sources as soon as possible...” Finally, even the mechanical sound of the chip has become a little fluctuating.

From chip awakening to now, Grimm has never had any doubts about its judgment.

So as soon as he was prompted by the chip, he waved his wand, a fist-sized witchcraft fireball blew open the secret room wooden door, and then his body suddenly turned into a slow-blown flame, disappearing on the spot.

In the abandoned garden in front of the Qingshi Tower, a flame suddenly appeared. A moment later, the flame came to an end and Grim's tall body appeared there.

Just outside the stone tower, a strange light 'eh’ sound suddenly sounded in the darkness of the top layer of the stone tower.

Grimm's red eyes swept over the past with a sound, which revealed the strange guy sitting on the tip of the stone tower at the knee of the disc.

This is a beautiful fox with bright yellow hair and a white scarf around her neck.

At this moment, it is surprised to see Grimm suddenly appearing in the garden, and in its hands, a dark red weird symbol is sparkling with obscure weird fluctuations.

Somehow, as soon as Grimm's mental power touched this fluctuation, the sight in front of him began to blur and confuse, a heavy breathing noise sounded strangely behind him, listening to the sound seemed very close to him.

The chip in your mind releases a slight bioelectric current and the stimulated Grimm instantly escapes from an uncontrollable illusion.

Spiritual magic?

Grimm, who instantly understood everything, dared not hesitate any longer. The wand poured heavily on the ground, shooting a loud ray of pneumonia from the dark red crystal of the wand head, and hit the strange fox on the top of the tower.

“There's something strange about you that I've been preparing for so long. Hey, you're dead today, we'll see you later..." The fox tail on the top of the standing tower swept away, Grimm's witchcraft skewed a little and rubbed its body into the sky.

And after all this, the fox stopped, crushing the dark red symbol in his palm, his body leaping and disappearing into the deep night.

Grim didn't try to catch up.

Such a strange wizard always likes to set up ambushes to lure the enemy into a trap, and chasing them must not be a good thing. After a close eye sensation, the chip still scans the tower for strange force field fluctuations, as if that force field source had not disappeared with the departure of the mysterious enemy.

This left Grimm with a slight consternation, since he suddenly understood.

He seemed to remember something, pulling out three Einstones and throwing them over his head, which led to a rigid re-entry into the turquoise tower.

A moment later, the flame burst and Grimm rushed out of the tower again, one in each hand, grabbing Sabrina and Billis, who were caught in a deep illusion.

The two were clearly asleep, but breathing became more and more urgent, and their bodies trembled slightly.

Grimm squatted beside the two, gently calling out a few voices, and they felt nothing.

Gently turning their eyelids open, Billis has obviously begun to turn his eyes white and his spirit is on the verge of collapse madness. And Sabrina, although slightly better than him, won't last long.

Grim frowned.

Though he pulled the two men out of the force field, the spiritual fluctuations of the two men had been severely polluted, and it might be difficult to escape the traction of the mysterious force field independently.

Grimm dared not hesitate to drain them together again, and then reinserted the 'Destroy the Flames’ wand between them. As Grimm's hands quickly swayed through the void, drawing one strange flame symbol after another, the wand began to tremble slightly, overflowing the red light of the stars from the dark red crystal.

The reds fell on two apprentices, led by Grim.

Once the red flare touched, the two couldn't bear to tremble dramatically, and the less tolerant Billis couldn't even bear to start rolling all over.

“Ouch... it hurts... what is this... it hurts me..."

Billis screamed and climbed up from the ground, beating the flames of burning bears on his body like a dream. But when he opened his eyes, it was strange to discover that his body was still intact and not burned into coke like a dream.

At the moment of his bewilderment, Sabrina, shaking like a sieve of bran, suddenly sat up and her mechanical eyes burst out of darkness.

When her gaze fell on Grimm, she immediately rolled up.

“My lord, did you save me?” Sabrina couldn't bear to ask.

Billis next to "Save?" obviously hasn't figured out the status quo yet: "Have any enemies just arrived? ”

“Well, a strange wizard who looks like a fox, who seems to be better at psychic witchcraft. Even I almost said...” Speaking of which, Grimm's black eyes flashed with angry light.

“Isn't there a Witchcraft guard in the tower?” Sabrina was shocked to ask, "How can we be reckoned with when we have a Witchcraft Guardian? ”

Grimm coldly chuckled.

'Cause it's the Witchcraft in the High Tower that reckons with us? ”

“Ah"

“Ah!”

Sabrina and Billis were both in shock.

“If I had guessed correctly, that guy would have known we were coming here.” Grimm narrowed his eyes and explained, "That's why he made a little effort in the Witchcraft of the Stone Tower before we did. ”

“How did he get control of the stone tower? ”

“He doesn't need control of the stone tower. Anyway, the previous stone tower had been shut down due to lack of energy, so he took the opportunity to add a little something to it. In this way, when we activate the core of the Witch Tower, we will draw our enemies. And..." Speaking of which, Grimm couldn't help but close his eyes.

“And what?” Billis couldn't bear to ask.

“And this enemy was very cunning, and in order to calculate me, I worked so hard to secretly engrave a witchcraft verdict in the three-storey residence, and then lured me to read it. In this way, he has my spiritual signposts and is able to attack my mind in a targeted manner. You two are not the ones he wants to deal with, just happen to stay in the witch tower, affected by the aftermath of spiritual witchcraft. ”

“How did you bring us back, my lord? Have you mastered some spiritual witchcraft?” This is what Sabrina and Billis care about most.

“Hmm, I followed the fire witch route, how could I possibly touch those mysterious spiritual witchcraft?” Grimm sneered: “Think about how you got out of the illusion and you'll know what I used! ”

It was said that Billis scratched his scalp and his eyes stunned into memories.

“I remember when I was on an adventure in the Black Forest, I suddenly encountered a horrible bunch of zombies. There are too many of them to kill any way. Finally, I ran out of witchcraft and they dragged me into the grave...” Speaking of which, Billis had a horrible look on his face: “Just as I felt I was about to be torn to pieces by them, a fire descended from the sky and lit me completely. Those fires burn on me, it really hurts, it hurts... it hurts me out of my dreams! ”

Listening to Billis, and judging by her own experience, Sabrina seemed to understand Grim's methods.

Fire provoked by Lord Firedemon has the peculiar characteristics of burning the soul and is undoubtedly best used to awaken two sleeping people.

Just think of yourself burned into coke by a strange fire in your dream, you have a clear mind, and remember every detail of your body when it was burned. Although this painful experience saved my life, it is still an unbearable pain to recall!
