Age of Adepts

Chapter 466 Battle Under the Night Curtain

The black forest under the night curtain has never been calm.

Unexpected dangers abound in the deep, sneaky dark.

The blood-sucking demon vines that lie in disguise in the vines while the jungle beasts prey out in the dark. They look like meadows. They are the sour, rotten swamps where ugly ghost mothers live, and the fierce predators wandering deep in the forest like ghosts...

Together, those legendary polluters, weirdoes and monsters make up a species, resource-rich, real wilderness - the Black Forest.

60 kilometers north of the Fire Throne Witch Tower, this is a territory occupied by the Abe Bees.

The night is already deep.

But here, it's still a tense busy scene.

A team of bee fighters with quenching spears and bows clapped their wings in and out of the forest, and many of them grabbed their prey. Most of them are common jungle creatures like horns, coyotes, monkeys, etc., and three or five miles apart can also see the trail of rabid apes, corrupt animals, and human mercenaries.

Normally, each bee team consists of fifteen bee fighters.

They pass through the black forest 30 miles around the nest, under certain laws, carefully searching for prey to prey on. Whenever they encounter jungle beasts or other monsters that come out to prey, a battle is inevitable.

Because of their terrible aggressiveness, few of these bee teams returned to the nest, and even the most tragic team had only four bee fighters returned. But without exception, they all brought back more or less trophies.

Built in a dense forest, Abe Bee's lair is a strange, hive-like witchcraft building.

This is also Queen Bee's maternity room, which is a special space for her to produce and nurture her community.

Those ordinary bees are not eligible to enter the hive. Only some specially selected beekeepers can surround themselves with the queen and constantly serve her into the * * * mind to take care of those newly hatched bee eggs.

Bee incubation cycles are short, and a bee egg takes only seven days from birth to incubation into a Bee Warrior. So as long as there's plenty of food, a hive can produce bee warriors almost as wildly as an explosion.

According to the wizard's power division, the power of ordinary Bee Warriors is only 0.7 points. But don't look at how weak they are, as long as they gather up a certain amount, their dangers will climb in a straight line.

There are wings to fly, there is also a skilled quenching technique to launch long-range attacks with bows and arrows, and a triple fork spear to launch a dive attack in the melee. Together, these strengths, coupled with constant numbers, can quickly become the dominators of nearby mountain forests once Abe's heels have been stabilized.

In this vast black forest, the rest of the creatures and monsters are almost on the Abe Bee's predatory list, except for rough, powerful monsters like giant barbarians and bipedal flying dragons who dare not provoke them.

As a result, during Grimm's departure from the Flame Throne, the number of Abe bees temporarily uncontrolled by natural enemies expanded at almost explosive speeds. And their disorderly growth undoubtedly poses a great threat to the peripheral forces that have just been established around the Flame Throne.

In just seven or eight days, the Gringo witch has received news of the deaths of two foreign apprentices and more than a dozen mercenaries. At one point, the 30-40 mile perimeter of the Abe Bee's lair was classified as an extremely dangerous area by the Flame Throne, and the Witch Tower even issued a strict ban on access to the area.

However, the emergence of an overly powerful community of monsters around the Fire Throne is not a good thing in any way. So while banning mercenaries and low-ranking apprentices from approaching Abe hunting areas, the Witch Tower has also issued a clean-up mission internally calling for high-ranking apprentices to systematically clean up these disordered monsters.

…………

Near a small narrow mountain, a battle has just come to an end.

A single flaming tiger, 3 metres long and weighing up to 300 kilograms, became the prey of the bee prey team.

The dead Red Flame Tiger lay motionless on the grass between the woods, bright yellow with red demonic prints stuck with short black arrows and even two broken spears around his neck.

The weak power of bee warriors is simply not enough to kill the fierce Red Flame Tiger, but the poison on their weapons can. So this unlucky flaming tiger in front of us was poisoned alive!

But the fierce fireball sprayed by the Red Flame Tiger also inflicted tremendous damage on the bee prey team, with four bee warriors unable to escape the fragmentation of the bomb, and three bee warriors dying from the horror bite and long tail of the Red Flame Tiger during the dive attack.

The remaining eight bee fighters also suffered more or less flame damage, although this did not prevent them from happily cutting off the red flame tiger's body and transporting the tiger back in batches.

The flesh of this elemental monster is a complement and one of Queen Bee's favorite foods.

Yet just as they were busy surrounded by red flame tiger corpses, sound came from the forest not far away, and a human creature hidden in a thick black robe appeared in the sight of a bee warrior.

Humanity!

The other side is not only a human, but the Queen's favorite human executor!

Because in this forest, only the so-called sorcerer apprentices dare to run around in black robes.

Bee warriors cannot help but rejoice.

wung wung wung...

Bee-like wings flare loudly.

Eight bee warriors threw away the bloody debris in their hands, grabbed the spear and instantly flew halfway into the sky. In order to avoid possible witchcraft attacks by human apprentices, several bee warriors spread out on all sides and quickly approached the black robe figure under the cover of dense branches and vines.

Surprisingly, the black robe figure did not attempt to escape, but looked up slightly, and a pair of strange green eyes penetrated from the shadow of the hood, looking cold at the bee man.

Despite feeling strange, the Bee Warriors attacked their enemies according to a regular process.

The first wave was, of course, a half-range quenching bow and arrow.

Shh shh...

Eight poisonous arrows crossed the gap between the trees, and the dense locust burst onto the human figure of the black robe.

The other side didn't mean to hide at all, and didn't do any defensive witchcraft, and stood there and let the poisonous arrow pounce on him. From the dull sound of the poison arrow entering the body, it can be seen that the other party is not wearing any metal armor underneath the robe.

As a result, eight Bee Warriors became more excited, quickly approaching one side and shooting arrows. By the time they reach less than ten steps away from the black robe figure, one by one drops the long bow in his hand and the trident is held and dives down.

When eight spears are inserted into each other's body in the friction of the stinging ears, the black robe human suddenly bursts into a strange sharp worm hiss. The whole body suddenly burst into black beetles, instantly submerging eight bee warriors in a horrible tide of worms.

For the first time, bee warriors have encountered such a terrible response, screaming in horror to pull their bodies back up, but they have overthrown a strange black beetle on their heads, faces, bodies, legs and even translucent wings.

What frightens them even more is the strange sandstone, dense as a spring silkworm, and the terrible pain that comes from the wreckage of limbs.

Several strong bee warriors barely clapped their wings and flew, but because of their lack of vision, they fell on the branches stretched across them.

Bee warriors struggle wildly, fight back... Many black beetles, only the size of yellow beans, are crushed into blood sauce and poisoned into black water, but the remaining quantity is still enough to kill these eight unlucky bastards without other witchcraft abilities.

Quickly, the forest returned to silence.

There is only one strange, creepy sand sound left in the quiet, dark forest.

A moment later, a meal of black beetles gathered together again to regain the look of Billis.

The Wizard Apprentice of the First World War stood silently in the bloodstains, silently enjoying the pleasant feeling of sweet blood running through his body.

Although Abe is a monster, its appearance is a mixture of bee and elf traits and belongs to a human monster. If placed in the past, in the character of Billis, it would never have been such a brutal act of eating each other raw.

But today, after the integration of the mutant mother, everything in front of her became so natural, no wonder!

This is the world I want!

Billis' manic, bloodthirsty nature has been strongly suppressed by Grimm ever since the fusion was successful. Though he had also secretly preyed on a number of 'blood foods', weak humans had little evolutionary energy at all.

In contrast, monsters imbued with elemental power are best suited to serve as food!

Of course, those sweet and delicious human apprentices are also part of a moving cuisine. But Master Grimm had given strict orders not to obtain permission, and he could not feed himself on sorcerers and apprentices. So Billis could only force the urge to live in the witch tower to hunt, and under the master's assignment, came here to find the trouble of the Abe Bees.

After eating, Billis continued to march deep into the jungle at a heavy and teetering pace. Behind him, dense swarms of insects wrapped around scattered pieces of flesh, like loyal hounds following him closely.

Billis now barely completed the evolution of the worm body, possessed the immortal body, but none of the mutant beetles that fought for him had been bred. Such a man is undoubtedly extremely weak. Once he meets the mighty monster chiefs, he has to turn his back and flee.

So it's time to find a place to build a worm nest!
