Age of Adepts

Chapter 476 Biological Laboratories

talent plundering variant insect!

Experimental data from the chip show that this alien insect can only plunder talent once in its lifetime, the moment it evolves from a larvae to an adult insect.

And its plundering has its limitations.

Seventeen percent of gene fragments are the upper limit of this alien predatory parasite's natural capacity. If this cap is exceeded, too many exogenous gene fragments can lead to instability of its own genes, resulting in breakdown of the gene chain.

And this obviously does not meet Grimm's goal of obtaining 100% of the genetic chain of the target organism!

The world of wizards is so powerful and prosperous that no wizard has ever discovered the strange ability of such alien worms, even Grimm himself does not believe it. But the world of witches has not yet developed a perfect micro-system, which leads even the most powerful witch in the world to extend its witchcraft tentacles to the level of material molecules.

Down again, when the study of witchcraft reaches the atomic level, the high-ranking wizards become powerless.

This is also a necessity!

In previous life, precision science emerged because of a world of low demons and a lack of extraordinary power. Even one of the most common human beings can see a more nuanced dimension of matter molecules through ancillary facilities such as microscopes.

In the social environment of Gao Demon, mortal incurable diseases can be treated through a small ‘removal technique’. It is not feasible, a bottle of the therapeutic agent formulated with the water of life can be poured down, it can also revive the dead and return to old age.

It is precisely because of the convenience and wonder of extraordinary power that all wizards use witchcraft as the only way to think about solving problems when they encounter them. This disguise also leads to a serious lag in the natural sciences, humanities, social disciplines and sophisticated sciences of various material levels.

And these, inevitably, have been replaced by a whole system of witchcraft!

Earth-owned organ transplants also exist in the High Demon World, and are more convenient and rough. Wizards involved in surgery do not even have to be proficient in human organs and live anatomy at all, but only need a little 'organ activation' witchcraft.

Don't look at the blood they make every bioanatomy, the operating table is like a slaughterhouse, but the creatures of Gao Demon World also have a super life force ten times higher than the creatures of Earth. Simple surgical conditions, rough surgical processes, when the light of extraordinary power shines on them, the anatomical object climbs down the operating table is still a living dragon, abnormal.

The artificial intelligence that the Earth possesses can be found in the High Devil World as well, and that is the Tallinn that the top Witch Tower possesses.

Even as the earthlings feared an artificial intelligence ‘mutiny’, the wizards had tamed Tallinn into the most loyal and reliable servant. Many wizards spend their entire lives in their wizard towers. Some particularly passionate wizards merge the souls and spirits of their loved ones, who have died halfway, even for the purpose of staying with their loved ones forever.

Technologies such as the stripping of the soul and the integration of the soul and matter have reached extremely high and difficult levels of Earth's technology.

So in two different environments, similar material conditions emerge, but two very different ways of civilizing.

Science and technology civilization and witchcraft civilization!

Grimm, as a witness to both civilizations, belongs to authentic wizards, but the chip in his mind belongs entirely to the crystallization of technological civilization. So when he tried to bring the two civilizations together, he had a far more extraordinary life pattern and a soul hierarchy.

When other wizards are in his position, they sink into all sorts of conspiracy and power struggles, but he is always forced to unveil the veil that blinds him so that he can see the world for himself!

It was this high-profile view of life that made him immediately acutely aware of the power of this magical bug.

Of course, this powerful, ordinary wizard is untouchable, and only individuals like him who are both civilizations can find alternative ways to circumvent the upper limit of genetic uptake.

So, day after day, Grimm devoted almost half of his time and energy to the study of xenomas. While no breakthrough has been made at this time, several alternatives proposed by the chip have been validated.

At present, Grimm is doing everything in its power to extract the mysterious material that can plunder the genes of life from the wondrous creatures. And this, undoubtedly, is an enormous drain on time and energy!

…………

This is a biology lab full of magic.

The entire wall emits bright, soft, colorless white light that illuminates the interior.

But in the center of the lab, a dozen translucent cocoons are standing tall. Underneath the cocoon is a thick layer of meat, crawling all over the floor of the biology lab like a fungus blanket, and some places even stretching over the walls.

The cocoon and carpet are connected by several large tubes that climb onto the translucent surface of the cocoon, grow like blood vessels on the human heart, and continuously deliver light yellow nutrients to it.

Across the translucent cocoon membrane, you can almost see embryos floating in cocoons of all sizes and shapes. It can be judged from their shape size and morphological characteristics that the embryos in these cocoons should all belong to different stages of development after the asexual proliferation of the same organism.

And in that giant cocoon in the center, the mysterious alien Grimm captured from Medusa was floating in open limbs, and even the scorpion's tail seemed to be dripping softly, in a state of deep anesthesia.

As for Grimm, the owner of this biology lab, he is wandering between the cocoons, silently observing the evolution and direction of each embryo.

Without the support of sophisticated science, it's hard for a strong man to build a biology lab like Earth from scratch to scratch. So Grimm used the thinking of Earth's biosciences, and the means of witchcraft civilization, to create this magical version of the biology lab.

The nutrient solution that supports the survival of xenomas and embryos contains almost all the nutrients necessary for biological evolution, and is a magical agent carefully formulated by Grimm, the Flame Throne Pharmacist, in accordance with Grimm's instructions and requirements.

Any life-embryo input can accomplish the evolution of young organisms to matures at the shortest possible rate, stimulated by ultra-concentrated life-agents. And this journey is still controllable, and the concentration of life drugs entered at every moment is under the control of Grimm, the lab owner.

Because of the preciousness of the Fae, Grimm could not find the second, even after a thorough search of the old spider's lair. So in order to avoid completely destroying such precious experimental specimens due to their own operational errors, the first thing Grimm needs to do before extracting heterologous gene fragments is to produce a large number of alternatives to heterologous specimens.

Although the alien is just a young creature, Grimm extracted its biogenetic material smoothly during the deep scan of the chip.

So, the next thing is to try to cultivate the foreign worm number two, the foreign worm number three, the foreign worm number four...

In-depth work on some sample slices and gene separation can also be on the agenda when xenomolgus specimens are not unique.

Grimm quickly arrived before a cocoon bubble, and in that light yellow nutrient, an irregular meat chunk the size of a slap was floating inside. A dozen long flesh tentacles can't hold on to the side of the flesh, allowing ‘it’ to swim * freely inside like a fish.

Although no body organs such as the ear, ear, mouth or nose are visible on 'it', no hidden circulatory system is found in the flesh mass. But when Grimm's eyes were cast over the meat mass through the cocoon, ‘it’ stopped all activity like an astonished little beast, sinking to the bottom of the cocoon.

Pretending to die?

This seems to be the survivability of intermediate intelligent life!

Does such an obscure ‘meat block’ already possess the wisdom required by intermediate life forms?

Grim grinned silently and sighed.

The magic of the wizarding world's life system is still above its imaginary limits, and any past cognitions and laws are a barrier to subsequent research and exploration. Abandoning the intrinsic interference of the mind is the most important thing if we are to make progress in this new mystical system.

Grimm silently painted a symbol in the air and punched it into the fungus carpet underneath him.

As the tubes wrapped around the cocoon trembled lightly, a thick strand of life medication was injected into the cocoon. Grimm, on the other hand, lay on the cocoon and stared instantly at the reaction of the 'meat mass’.

The meat mass, which was also 'disguised as dead', was stimulated by strong life medicines, and the whole ‘body’ began to tremble violently. A dozen meat tentacles have to be retracted into the body, and the meat mass begins to expand and deform.

In Grimm's near-permeable chip scan and mental perception, the lump of meat sucks nutrient fluid into the body, and then quickly transforms into the corresponding flesh tissue and internal organs. Some musculoskeletal occurrences occur in nothing and develop over time and are then stretched into place by the muscle fibers attached to them, stitching together into the initial model of a future xenomorphic frame.

The magical and subtle process, with the rigour of the life sciences and the mysterious power of the ghost axe, makes Grimm admire as he monitors.

But at the very moment when the heteroskeletal framework had just been built, an unknown genetic shock suddenly destroyed it all.

A break in the chain at the genetic level bursts the alien worm halfway through the sky into bloody sauce.

This burst was so neat that the meat mass in the cocoon did not leave a trace of meat grain, it turned into finely shredded flesh debris and uniformly painted the cocoon membrane into an eye-catching blood red.

Grim was disappointed to straighten his waist.

In the mind, the serial hint of the chip sounds.

“Drop, 125th clone sample evolution failed… Reason for failure: genetic chain break… Residual samples recommended for destruction…”
