Age of Adepts

Chapter 627: Enemy Analysis

Grimm and Alice were facing the wooden statue and discussing a response as the elves reported on the level of information obtained from the small village.

At this time, a floating giant ship is hovering over an island 110 nautical miles from the Coke continent.

The island is not big, it's only a mile or two round, and it's full of black rock. Forget the flora and fauna, there's not a lot of soft soil.

Due to the rugged and uneven terrain on the island and the fact that no empty space could be found enough to allow the floating giant ship to land smoothly, Grimm could only allow it to hover 10 metres from the ground and quietly rest and prepare.

Just after a war, some elf prisoners were captured, and they must be ‘settled' as soon as possible. You can't go around fighting with a bunch of prisoners, can you?

So, a floating giant ship sent down a bunch of engineering machinery, dug up a small underground prison in a hidden position on the island, and a brain stuffed all the elf captives in.

With the easing of the burden, Grimm smoothly announced a three-day rest on the island.

In this remote suburb, there can be no other way of entertaining, and Grimm is simply giving the family wizards a battle buffer gap to adapt to the imminent battle. According to information obtained through torture in Toronto, Grimm has preliminary knowledge of the location and approximate troop deployment of all elf villages, towns and cities within a thousand miles of the entire South Coast.

Once Grimm has digested the harvest, the Deep Red family will launch a massive surprise attack on the elf line on the South Coast over the next month or two. Targets are randomly chosen, as long as they are not blocked on the battlefield by the Elves' powerful men, and with the elevation of the Floating Giant Ship, the Elves will also suffer to intercept them.

The southern coast stretches 30,000 miles of tortuous coastline, making it difficult for the Pokémon to prevent a floating giant ship from penetrating from any position at high altitude, even if they are everywhere in the Great Forest of Magic. Nodak's Magic Forest, where the Elves want a comprehensive defense, can't help sending all the Elves from the Central Mountains.

If Grimm is the Elf Commander, there is nothing he can do about his enemies who are so blind. The only response is to shrink the line of defense and relocate most of the inhabitants of elf villages and towns to cities with tight protective measures.

This is the only way to minimize unnecessary casualties and shield ordinary Pokémon with the powerful wings of Legion Pokémon.

But once that happens, a handful of elf cities will be under tremendous existential pressure, and will abandon the vast forest of magic to that mysterious enemy.

Besides, if Pokémon commanders on the South Coast could really do this harshly, Grimm would slap his ass * and take people to other areas to mess up. At that time, other defensive areas faced the same difficulties and frustrations as the South Coast defensive areas.

Of course, Elf tribes are not goblin-like rookies and can be bullied at will by wizards.

Throughout the internal composition of the Legion of Pokémon, there can be more than one group of troops capable of posing a huge threat to the Floating Giant. From top to bottom, the scariest of course belongs to the Green Dragon Legion.

Although the Floating Huge is powerful, once encountered with the Green Dragon Legion, there is no need for too many. With three or four Green Dragons of Class 2, you can basically knock the Floating Huge down into the sky.

After all, the Dragon Nation is recognized as the king of air war!

However, with the arrogance and laziness of the dragons, I fear any elf commander will have to think twice at the price of trying to drive them from the Central Mountains to the remote perimeter to surround some of the 'Liquid Bandits'.

So a floating giant ship is very unlikely to encounter a dragon colony as long as it stays away from those big elf cities. It's not even nice to say that if the Green Dragons dare to leave alone, Grimm won't mind sending a dragon slaughter squad directly from the family to complete a dragon slaughter in this Fine position.

Once the dragons have been cleared, the greatest threat to the Floating Giant is posed by the Flying Forces in the Legion of the Elves.

Elven Flight Units are comprised of Pegasus Knight, Horn Eagle Beast Archer, and the Big Warcraft Chimera.

Among them, the Flying Horse Knight picked some of the finest close-combat Pokémon to ride on the Flying Horse and rush to the enemy at a rapid rate to fight it. They use longbows remotely, spears intermediate-range, and Pokémon knives at close range, belonging to facial savvy attackers.

And those who perform well will be chosen to ride the Fae of the Pegasus - Silver Pegasus - to promote the Silver Pegasus Knight. Each of these silver flying horses possesses some strange ethnic idiosyncrasies that, after grinding to the point of compatibility with the elf knights, can even assist the knights in deriving several powerful knight warfare techniques.

Unfortunately, since flying horses and silver flying horses are just a heresy formed after the demonization of horses on land, they are naturally ill burdened. So knights riding them cannot cover too thick metal armor, otherwise they will seriously slow down their flight speed.

As a result, most current Pokémon and Silver Pokémon knights are wearing leather armour. However, many elves from the upper layers still like fine and gorgeous metal armor, just to lose weight, they had to wear out the metal armor thinner and do some hollow treatments.

In all seriousness, such empty rides are indeed powerful against the human army and can take almost complete control of the battlefield. It's not enough to fight a floating giant ship!

Shooter's magic is all over the body, and a single gun isn't powerful enough, but it beats a lot. Once a barrage is formed, even if the Pokémon Knight's base strength is several times greater than the Pokémon's magic, it will be difficult to rush into their nearby knockout.

And with the metal shell thickness of battle magic, ordinary Pokémon Knives and Spear Feather Arrows are almost impossible to damage. Only those powerful knight or archer warfare moves can truly hurt the battle magic.

So it's hard for a single shooter to beat a fellow Pokémon knight, and often even get knocked down by a targeted means. But if you use ten shooter magic against ten elf knights, the winner is definitely the shooter's side of the magic, and it can be a one-sided massacre.

More importantly, there are even more powerful magic artillery on board the Floating Giant.

Intense energy rays up to Baidu can't withstand such a terrible magic blow from any elf knight.

With the magic cannon at its core, aided by the marksman's magic, a floating giant ship can tear a crack out with fierce fire even if it falls under the heavy siege of a flying horse knight. If those Ferris knights dare to break into the fire grid and climb aboard the Floating Giant, they will be waiting for thicker defensive magic on the shell and three powerful Russ Magic Warriors.

The situation of the Horned Eagle Archer is the same. Picking some of the finest arrow shooters from the elves, they climbed onto the tribe's carefully cultivated Horned Eagle Beast, suspended on a high blue sky and launched an ultra-range aerial strike against the enemy on the ground.

And the same dilemma they face, like the Flying Horse Knight, is the lack of heavy armor protection. In the face of mankind, an army without empty rides and means of emptying the sky is naturally unprecedented and triumphant. This defect is fatal enough to encounter metal hedgehogs made of steel like a floating giant ship.

First of all, they did not fly as high as a giant floating ship.

This also prevents them from using their precise arrow techniques and ultra-range projectile attacks.

Secondly, they are unable to approach the Floating Giant Ship.

With their armor, two or three metal bullets will suffice to render a good Horn Eagle Archer incapacitated. If something goes wrong with the Horn Eagle Beast, the Elf Archer falling into the sky will almost die!

Again, their feather arrows attack the thick crust of a floating giant ship.

According to the geotechnical engineer's measurements, the outer deck and hull of the floating giant ship have reached half a metre thickness. Use bows and arrows to attack a half-metre thick sheet of iron, and it's a special alloy made by a ground refining gold lab. Only the lunatics and fools would do such a ridiculous thing!

It is precisely because I have such a clear perception of the enemy that Grimm does not care about the enemy's empty rides.

Of course, the Pokémon Air Force is not entirely ‘scrap wood', and those specially bred big warcraft Chimera are not only rough, but also masterful of three types of magic. If the Pokémon are able to assemble a large number of Chimeras to launch an attack, it is still possible to break through the fire grid of a floating giant ship and land successfully.

But then, it was time for many wizards to show up!

Every Elemental Wizard is a terrible Elemental Volcano. Once you let go of your hands and feet and slam a wave of witchcraft against your enemies, that horrible scene will make you panic and chestnuts!

Ultimately, the real threat to a floating giant ship is actually a 'pseudo air force'!

Druid Order…

The Druid Order, as a special community in the Elf Kingdom, also possesses superior status and strength within the Kingdom.

Even the first Druid mastered a masterful natural mystery.

They can practice, they can transform, they can summon jungle partners to fight with themselves, it's a combination of elemental wizards, blood wizards, and summoners. Though they are not specialized enough in each of them, exploring the combined forces is a difficult task.

If that unit of the Elf Kingdom is most likely to pose a great threat to the Floating Giant Ship, it must be the Druid Order, which consists of a large number of Druids.

They become Wind Hawks or Socrates, and they can fly up to the Blue Sky and catch up with the Floating Giant. Once aboard a floating giant ship, the moment they land, they can turn into giant bears, furious monkeys, razor boars, giant barbarians like that.

This way, even with the defensive front, they won't lose too much.

They also have the ability to administer speedy natural spells that can be harnessed and powerful attack natural spells. This is definitely not good news for the Magic Fighting Magic that is slightly weaker!

So once the Floating Giant ships are at war with the elves, the first thing you need to guard against is these nasty Druids.
