Age of Adepts

Chapter 675 Underground Battles

Somewhere 100 meters below ground, in a hidden place * *, a new nest is slowly breeding.

The only remaining 23,000 bug troops were dispatched by Billis in batches, running the risk of being wiped out by the elves and plundering blood everywhere on the surface. While they bring back a number of jungle creatures, their own losses are not insignificant, damaging between 1 and 2,000 worm armies almost every day.

At this rate, Billis will face a bug-free dilemma in less than ten days!

The only remaining six demonized mantis that he couldn't help but carry around kept him some of the bottoms of high-end warworms. And on the far west coast, there are scattered bug armies and demonized mantis that are hiding in all corners of the magical forest.

Once this place fails, even if Billis' body is destroyed by the elves, he can be resurrected by the king bugs hidden in another bug army. But the cost of such a resurrection is too great, and it is highly likely that his strength will shrink to the first level of beginner.

So if it's not necessary, he won't get out of enemy circles in this way!

After a few attempts the other day, the bug witch Billis had given up his fantasy of asking the Lord Mary for help. It was his reckless quest for help that allowed the spear of vengeance to trace his trail with faint element fluctuations.

In that war, he was even forced to abandon 10,000 bug troops to serve as bait to lure the enemy away.

Unfortunately, the Fantasy Forest is still home to Forest Elf.

Here, any trace of wind, grass, or spider silk can draw the attention of the elves. So Billis' arduous escape route was doomed to be so rough that he almost got stuck in the makeshift residence several times.

After more than 6,000 miles of cat and mouse games with the Vengeance Spear Agave, Billis has yet to officially face her. But even so, his bug army has fallen from 170,000 in its peak days to more than 20,000 today, and the first-order intermediate-grade warworm demonized mantis has slipped from 27 to six now.

The heartache and blood tears in here are not the parties concerned, but difficult to understand and experience!

Here, beneath this strange Eagle's Nest Mountain, the bug witch Billis, though unable to leave the house, is still able to get a rough idea of what's going on outside through the hidden eye worms.

It can be seen that his previous wilful actions have completely provoked the elves. Every day, the Pokémon 'empty ride around Eagle Hill never stops. Inside the jungle, Druids guarded like copper walls by elves' flying outposts and disguised as small animals.

Without enough blood to feed, it is difficult to incubate an ever-growing army of worms, and without high-quality flesh, it is difficult to produce powerful warworms. At this point, however, the water that has been surrounded by enemies is impenetrable, and there is no return of any flock of insects sent to the ground, but the bug witch Billis still does not give up hope of escape.

Using some of the clearance before the Pokémon encirclement closed, Billis sent a large army of worms that fortunately recovered some blood food. Using this blood diet, coupled with the sacrifice of some common worm groups, Billis has finally bred some specially capable alien worms in his new nest - earthworms.

This is a strange insect, similar in shape to a large earthworm, with a body length of twelve metres and dense numb, concentric and round front teeth. These roller knife arrays, like serrations, extend all the way into the body of its black hole, which is the foundation tool for eating everything and crushing everything.

The earthworm is cold, and its horrible stomach bag can crush and digest as long as it is able to absorb organic matter.

Bugs, under Billis' command, have the ability to drill the earth, but their evolved body structure has always been dominated by tearing flesh-eating organisms. Running away with them in holes in the ground is not only too loud, but also incredibly slow.

So in order to dig out a way of life, Billis had to sacrifice a small swarm of worms, using their flesh and crustaceans to breed this particular earthworm.

When the first earthworm broke through the nest and appeared in front of Billis, his mind was as excited as it was at the moment of his successful advancement. Unfortunately, without waiting for him to take a closer look at this earthworm, a dozen bugs were actually killed by one move in a wormway half a mile away.

The bug witch Billis sighed helplessly and then grinned biting his teeth.

Those Druids became more and more daring these days, breaking into this underground maze repeatedly and searching for Billis' tracks in curved wormways and underground cracks.

Some of them are battle squads made up of first-order Druids. As long as Billis sends out the only remaining six demonized mantis, in this powerful and difficult small space, it is also possible to teach these Druids a lesson they will never forget.

However, in many Druid squads, there are some second-degree Druids hidden.

If demonized mantis meet them, they have less than 30% chance of escaping successfully.

So whenever the peripheral worm soldiers were killed by the Druids, it was Billis' turn to hesitate to wander around and wonder if he should send demonized mantis to surround them.

This torment torments him almost every day, almost every moment!

In previous battles, when hostilities were unknown, Billis could only give up his counterattack with hatred. The main reason was the concern that he had to keep in his hands a soldier who could protect him.

Now, with the prospect of digging earthworms and escaping, the mindset and mentality of the worm witch Billis has changed dramatically. The previous Jedi escape became now retractable, and Billis had the heart to play with the pain of his enemies.

Consequently, the previously conservative and passive defensive bug squads once again infiltrated large numbers of pits and wormways, continuously impacting those Druid battle squads from all sides.

As the fighting intensified, some previously unclear intelligence gathered in Billis' mind like rain. When the battle posture of the entire underground maze appeared in front of him, he quickly chose his opponent for himself.

This is a battle team of three first-order Druids.

One of them was transformed into a giant python over a dozen metres long, responsible for exploring and opening the way ahead. And the second two, one turning into a giant groundhog, fluttering with a thin nose, sniffing the smell of the pit, one turning into a toad full of goosebumps, laying on a giant python and suddenly a huge eyeball watching the surrounding movement.

On this journey, the smell of acid rot in the underground pit bores three Druids to death. Though they have changed the appearance of warcraft and the power of warcraft, their hearts still belong to mankind.

So for this filthy underground environment, they just have to put up with it and can't like it!

A team of three, Python is good at perceiving the slight vibration of the earth, Flash Mouse is able to smell a strange smell, and Poison Arrow Frog has excellent dynamic perception. They complement each other, but they also complement each other.

While silently exploring the forks and directions of the tunnel in front of you, use natural magic to leave a special magic mark along the way. It was by their steps that the underground maze, dug out by insects, lit up most of the way down the Eagle's Hill.

Perhaps in less than two days, they will be able to thoroughly ascertain the intricacies of this underground labyrinth of intersecting forks, wormways, branches and ramps. By then, the entire underground maze was covered with magic marks, and it was not so easy for those worms to wander around with the darkness and chaos of the underground.

As long as we can spot the shadow of the bug witch, with the help of a few second-degree Druid masters, that damned guy will never escape from here again!

…………

Dark, deep narrow tunnels stretch out in front of you.

Darkness, if you don't see darkness, surface creatures don't see anything here.

The tunnel is no more than a metre wide, and if the elves come down, I'm afraid there's only one frowning crawl ahead. If you replace them with elf warriors who are good with double knives, I'm afraid you won't even be able to pull out a knife here, let alone use your fighting power.

So when it comes to adaptability to the battlefield, Druid is really more appropriate than other fighters.

“No… we seem surrounded by enemies! ”

A serpent's first giant python suddenly stopped swimming, using its acute body sensation to detect the familiar sand sounds in all the bug paths and pits within half a mile of the perimeter.

It seems that, possibly, a large number of bug squadrons are flowing from all sides to their position through curved tunnels. Since the swarm has been severely hit several times, it has been rare for a bug army raid of this magnitude.

“Why don't we just get out of here and report the swarms?” The glittering rat lifted his body and showed a humanized expression of hesitation on the furry grey mouse's face.

There are eleven Druid teams searching underground for that bug witch at the moment, of which only five are hiding in the second order Druid Master. And unfortunately, they didn't have this one!

So when the glittering rat detects the agitation of distant pests, it has to be a little afraid to shrink.

After all, in this narrow enclosed space, they have very limited combat power. None of those powerful natural spells can be carried out, otherwise collapsed earth and sandstone alone will be enough to kill them.

“Retreat and those worms will certainly take the opportunity to destroy the mark we left behind. So we did it for nothing all day. We're not going in or out, Thor, to the right of the fork, there's a stone hall 30 meters from us, and it's not big enough for us to fight inside. I have already sent out a message for help, as long as we are here for a while, the surrounding team will definitely come to support us...” In the end, the oldest poison arrow frog shouted and set the strategy.

The three-member team did not hesitate.

Flash rats and poisonous arrow frogs poured onto the giant python, swimming fast forward under his wrath along a pit of pit darkness and straight into the rightmost corridor at the inevitably flashing triple fork.

Nearly one position apart from them, the dense sand rushes from far and close, a dense swarm of insects rushing out of various passages and forks, and then, without hesitation, plunges right into that right passage with the giant python.

For a while, dense and numb crusts wiped the sound of the collision filled the entire underground tunnel!
