After three days of thorough water cleaning and burning the bodies, the town became roughly restored.

There were still blood stains on the walls or floors of the building, but it was cleaner than before to help exaggerate and not to envy Lucretia.

Albrecht stepped into the disbandment of the soldiers. Most of the soldiers who fled from the Battle of Wrightingen returned home, but they were swarmed and occupied or pillaged by soldiers who had nowhere to go or wanted to go.

Fortunately, the Knights of Albrecht were weary of being vigilantes for a long time, and were unable to raid the enemy encampment by mounting a massive maneuver.

That's why the soldiers ran away and had no shortage of supplies.

The town where Albrecht is now, the infantry commander would gather his troops and try to sit down like a troop.

If nothing else had happened, I would have naturally become the leader of the region, and if I had bowed my head to Zigmunt well, I might have become the lord.

But even though the chances of success are imminent, who knew there would be vampires? The dream of a foot soldier was torn apart by the devil.

“There are more cabins around here than villages. I don't know if there are soldiers there, but there won't be many. If you look down the path to the south, there's an inn village between Oberburn. I don't know if there are a few soldiers there. ”

A soldier with bloodstained quilted armor looks at Albrecht and says while clearing the corpse.

Albrecht was sitting in a hall, like a spiritualist, patting his beard and listening to his soldiers. Randolph and Diego stand on either side in front of Albrecht.

Although it is a fairly awkward and unpleasant place, if you want to show people that the town is normalized, you have to show them that the ordinancer is at the forefront.

It was gross, and I tried to avoid the work as much as possible and enjoy the holidays, but that was too bad.

The king could not pretend not to know, and the situation had to be settled.

“How many have you decided to leave behind? ”

The soldier rolls his eyeballs up and counts one finger on Albrecht's question. I barely said it after a long time.

“Balz, Esten, Thomas, Grandel… uh, so… Hey, ten guys? No. Twenty? I'm sorry. ”

In this world, schools were a fantasy concept, so there were many people who could not even count properly, not just letters.

Most of the Knights were wiped out in the Wrightingen Field, and at least the infantry commanders were corrupted by Janos, leaving no one to take care of them.

“Never mind. I'm fine. I see your point. Then I'll lead the rest of the troops to Oberburn. I'll take you home from there. You need to get out there and get ready to leave, except for the rest of us. ”

As Albrecht's men fall, the soldier bows and turns around, wearing a helmet, leaving the hall.

After the soldier left, Albrecht continued to touch his mouth.

‘Oh, I forgot to bring cigarettes. I'll search.’

Cigarettes were among the most expensive luxuries in the world. Since it was only grown in the southern continent, it was almost as expensive as silk if it came across the eastern continent. It was like burning silk and smoking it.

Albrecht wasn't particularly glamorous, but his preferences were clear. For example, he liked the rare black among silk, or the wine preferred the red wine of southern Veles.

Albrecht is sweeping his mouth again or sweeping his beard, Diego said next to him.

“Overburn at last. How's the sentiment?”

Albrecht glances back at Diego and says,

“There's nothing to be sorry about. Just take a look around. ”

Albrecht pretended to be cool for no reason, but he was excited. Diego just smiles and looks at an old friend.

Albrecht turns the arrow to Randolph.

“Randolph, don't forget your promise to me. If you go to Wittenheim, you will marry Miss Agnes. ”

“Of course. I look forward to that day. ”

I expected Randolph to be embarrassed, but Albrecht was unwell. Randolph said it again, as he was reluctant to get up.

“But what was that? Speaking of which, are you really a demon? According to the Queen, they're some kind of family......”

Albrecht scratches his head. I didn't keep what I heard from the Saumkeite a secret, but I just kept my mouth shut because people couldn't believe it.

But Randolph and Diego seemed fine to say. Of course, they're free to believe it or not.

Albrecht told Randolph and Diego in detail about the Aurora monsters he saw when he went after the dragons, what he heard from the Dwarves, and what Janos said.

The story goes on for a long time, and their expressions harden. Leaving what Albrecht says to be true or false, they are immersed in the story.

In the window behind the hall, the morning sunlight comes in and illuminates the intestine, creating an orderly and quiet atmosphere. Dust flows through the light.

Randolph and Diego's mind thunders with chaos that doesn't suit the calm atmosphere. Perhaps even the prophet Zairex heard the secret of the world that denies it, and he couldn't handle the thrill of the whole body trembling.

“Now, you may not seem like a man, but I don't think you really were a man..."

After listening to Albrecht, Diego, who had been frozen for a long time, barely came to his senses. Albrecht grins.

“My friend, I am definitely a human being. If I were really a dragon, would I have suffered so long? I'm just a weak human being, too. Like someone said, he's just a poor man struggling in the swamp of destiny. Like everybody else. No matter how strong I am, I can't tell if it's human or not. ”

Diego had nothing to say. I just stared at my old friend with a frozen expression.

It looks like a volcano that explodes when it comes to combat, and he feels distant, usually contemplating like a calm lake.

Albrecht's blonde hair glistens behind his ear, taking in the sunlight that comes into the window. Albrecht leans comfortably on his chair, tapping his beard, his gaze down, elbows up on his armrest.

Diego has never seen a dragon, but it seems Albrecht now has a dragon with the power to envelop the world in silent contemplation, eager to absorb its power.

People used to laugh at Albrecht as a descendant of God, but I thought maybe it was real. Where are you from, my friend? Who are you?

“Master, then how do we stop the monsters? I don't know when they're coming, where they're coming from, if they're sporadic, if they're coming from one side, if they're coming at all, if they're sequential, the response is going to be different. ”

Unlike Diego, Randolph focuses on more realistic issues. Albrecht smiles at Randolph.

Randolph has been following Albrecht for over a decade now. He was now a great military commander by any means necessary.

“I don't know. If you knew that, you wouldn't be so worried. However, it is clear that if humans point their swords at each other and shed blood, there is no hope. ”

Randolph nods. I thought the Master was right. Diego, who was listening next to me, asked again.

“Do you then go to war to defend humanity? ”

Albrecht shakes his head at Diego's words.

“That's not true. I'm just sick of it, of my greed, that sort of thing. For once, if people experience a stable world, they'll know what abundance comes from it. After I'm gone, people will remember the abundance peace has brought. People won't be nice all of a sudden, but I just, you know, I just wanted to take a step. ”

Randolph seems to know Albrecht's words, and Diego stares at Albrecht with a blank face. Then he quickly woke up and said.

“The reason you're so strong is, perhaps, to endure such agony. I don't know what God knows about you anymore. Anyway, my friend, no matter what the world says, you're the only one who deserves to be the owner of the world. ”

Albrecht smiles and looks at Diego in his seat.

“Qualification, I never thought of that. I've been struggling my whole life like everyone else. I don't want to give it any meaning. ”

Then Diego smiled a little frozen. Seeing his friend, I felt like a person might be this young.

The most powerful man in the world, ironically, was not obsessed with power.

As before, Albrecht seems to disappear again as if he were done with his work.

Then a soldier comes in from outside and tells Albrecht.

“Your Majesty, we are ready. ”

Albrecht rises from his seat. I tapped the shoulders of my two friends and stepped out of the hall. Randolph and Diego follow Albrecht without a word.

The light comes into the window and shines like a blessing on Albrecht's seat.

Albrecht wears a big cape with a black silk tunic embroidered in gold thread. He wore a sword on his waist, and the pommel was made of iron and had only a simple cross engraved on it.

Randolph and Diego both wear chained armor and wear large capes, each with its own iconic family coat.

Rosamund wears a travelling hunter's clothing, and Agnes wears a cape with chain armor and a coat that symbolizes the Banhenheim family.

Albrecht's group rides into the center of town. Achilles rushes across the alley and opens his arms to Albrecht.

Albrecht hugs Achillia with one arm, pulling her off the horse without any annoyance. Rosamund approaches and gives Achylia a little cloak.

Soon the group arrives in the center of town. Soldiers and villagers gather to gather for a haunt.

When I saw Albrecht, everyone took off what they were wearing on their heads, moved aside, and bowed down to pay their respects.

In the center of the village, Janos and the body were still hanging from the columns, each with a pyre underneath.

Albrecht looks at it and says indifferently.

“Perform the ritual. ”

Then the people holding the torch lit the pyre together. Maybe it was poured, burned in a flash.

Albrecht did not believe in superstition, but he still felt the need for a demonstrative show to completely relieve people's anxiety.

Whoa!

“Ouch!”

Janos' long burning corpse suddenly bursts into flames. It was nothing, but people were furious.

Everyone turns quickly to look at Albrecht. Albrecht's expression was simply indifferent. Then people were surprised, too.

Albrecht thought, looking at the burning corpse of Janos. Randolph worries about monsters spreading across the continent.

If they were to come at once, they would muster an army and crush it, but otherwise they would be in trouble.

Since the army was sucking money even when it was assembled, it was necessary to set a strategic goal, smash the enemies in one fell swoop, and then achieve the goal and disband them quickly.

I wish I could take care of the area like Randolph or Hermann, but I don't think the whole area is covered by false pretenses.

Even with contemporary concepts like the National Guard and the police, it only backfired when applied to a world that didn't develop properly.

As Albrecht's anxiety deepens, something glitters and falls from the burning corpse of Janos.

“Bring that over here. ”

Albrecht says, and the people nearby pull it out with their hooks.

Of course, because it was hot, people tore their clothes and surrounded them with layers of cloth.

A middle-aged woman grabbed it and came to Albrecht and offered it politely with both hands.

Albrecht grabs it with his bare hands. It was just hot, not hot.

It looks like a dark red jewel with only one fist, but I can feel a misty aura in it.

Albrecht feels something sticky and squirming from his jewels. Just looking around, Achilles in Albrecht's arms speaks first.

“I think it's stone. ”

Albrecht looks at Achylia.

“The Stone?”

“I don't know. I just saw my friends making magic tools out of this stuff. The best thing is the heart of the dragon, but it's also made with these. ”

Albrecht looks back at the dark red jewel. And the memories of the Earth passed through my mind. If word got out that the Yellow Frog was good for his energy, he'd be extinct in a heartbeat.

No matter how scary the monsters are, are they as scary as the greedy humans? It was unknown.
