All Things Wrong

Chapter 2056 Disaster

The city of Usomit, in the northern part of the continent of East Asia, is a small, quiet and peaceful city built on the mountains. Yet, just this afternoon, the city's security was broken by sudden movements.

Lurant is the city's most common city guard. In fact, the city doesn't really need any city guards. After all, it's not a war front. The nearest to them is the Elf Nation of the North, but the Elves are the allies of the people, so the chances of waging war are very low. Although the situation has been a little tense lately, Lurant does not feel that a war could really break out.

Lurant's day-to-day job is to maintain order in the city, that's all. But the city is extraordinarily peaceful. After all, there are no nobles in this remote town. The only nobleman is Viscount Benant, the owner of the city, and Viscount Benant, 77 years old this year, is a nobleman with very little nobility, basically with civilians. Since he has been the owner of the city for more than 40 years and has no possibility of promotion, Viscount Banyant is really good for his own people in the city. Only the owner of the city made the whole city feel very good, although it was a small town, but everyone loved it, and the people who lived there were poor but happy.

Lurant also loves the city and does his job every day, maintaining peace in the small city, at least he thinks so himself.

“Lurant, some fresh Tulando? ”

“No, Aunt Rene, I'm still at work. ”

“Lurant, Scott seems to be in trouble again lately. ”

“Okay, Uncle Banru, I'll talk to that kid later. ”

Civilians who walked all the way to see Lurant smiled and greeted him, and all they said was a common saying, which was not visible in large cities, where civilians saw that city guards all had a sense of fear, which of course stemmed from the disparity in the identity class, where they were civilians and soldiers were noble dogs, but where that disparity did not seem to exist.

Lurant laughed and greeted the civilians next to him as he continued patrolling, but at this point, Lurant suddenly found a shadow rushing towards him. The city of Usomit is a quiet city, and the people who live there are basically idle, so this rarely happens.

Lurant glanced and found that the guy who flew over was just Scott. Scott is a young man in his 20s living nearby, idling around, eating and wearing his parents all day, and not going to work, in short, a gangster and a thug. Lurant certainly doesn't like this guy either. It seems to him that after the age of 16, a man will start to shoulder the burden of the family. This guy is in his 20s and is still eating and wearing his parents. Of course, it's disgusting. Ho Nai's parents really spoiled the child, so Lurant couldn't help but teach Scott a lesson sometime to see if he could teach him well.

Someone said Scott was in trouble again recently, and Lurant was looking for a chance to find Scott, so he rushed in, and Lurant nodded, which was perfect.

“Scott!” Lurant shouted directly at Scott as he rushed forward.

But when I finished shouting at Lurant, I felt something was wrong, and Scott's face panicked, as if he'd seen something really scary. Even he didn't seem to hear himself shouting, rushing in this direction.

“Scott!” Lurant went straight up and stopped Scott, "what's going on? What's wrong with you?”

“Brother Lurant?” Scott seemed to react at this point to who was stopping him, but after a little confusion, he quickly said, "Well... there...”

Scott pointed to where he came from, as if he was trying to say what was over there, and before he finished, he suddenly bled out a "wow” sound.

“Scott! What's the matter with you?" Lurant freaked out. He's a city guard, but he's hardly ever seen blood. What's wrong with spitting so much blood?

“So... so many people are dead over there! All dead!” Scott trembled softly.

“A lot of people died? ”

“Yes, it's all dead.” Scott said immediately, "I don't know what's going on, but run! Wow...”

Just after Lurant vomited a breath of blood again.

“What's wrong with you? Who beat you like this?” Lurant asked quickly, but to be honest, Lurant also felt a little strange, because Scott didn't look like he'd been beaten up, and he didn't feel hurt.

“I don't know...” Scott is also a little panicked right now, wondering if he's infected with a virus that's dying, but he can't stay here anyway, "Quick... run. ”

“Rest on your side, I'll go check it out.” Lurant suddenly thought about it and said, "Yes, he's a city guard after all. I don't know what's going on up ahead, and I don't know if what Scott said is true, but I'm still going to see what's going on.

“Don't go. Run.” Scott shouted, he wanted to run, but now his feet are really soft and he's paralyzed to the ground and shouted.

Civilians around them, of course, were coming this way, and they heard things, but they didn't know what was going on, and they were looking at Lurant a little confused at the moment.

“You take care of him, I'll go check it out.” Lurant thought about it, pointing to Scott on the ground, he said.

Civilians nodded, of course, and now they don't know what's going on, but they do know it's not just a small thing, so of course they all listen to Lurant.

Lurant nodded and was ready to look forward, when his hand with the spear was tight. He's a little scared, but he can't back off at this point.

As it turned out, Lurant suddenly saw a bunch of sparrow-like birds in the sky in front of him who didn't know what was going on and suddenly fell down like dumplings, and fell on the ground for a few random flutters before moving, and this look hung up.

Lurant was standing still, and of course the surrounding civilians saw it, and all stayed put.

“Come on, run.” Lurant didn't know what was going on, but something absolutely went wrong and turned around and shouted to all the civilians immediately. Of course all the civilians turned their heads and Lurant pulled up Scott on the ground and ran back.

“Lurant, what is it?” Someone asked while running.

“I don't know if it's gas or some kind of magic.” Lurant said.

“Was our city attacked?” Someone immediately asked.

“Probably... probably.” Lurant said.

“Lord Banant...”

Lurant was also tight, yes, of course he was familiar with the place he had just passed, which was the central location of the city, the town center, the transmission array and other important buildings there, and of course Viscount Bennet was there. Lurant is, of course, a little worried about what happened to Viscount Banyant, but he still has to get these civilians out of here first.

“Lurant, where are we going?” Another asked.

“Escape first.” Lurant thought about it and said, "It looks like our city has been attacked. We don't know what it's really used for, but we can't handle it. As things stand, let's get out of here before heading north to Dylan Mill City. ”

“Okay, okay.” Civilians certainly don't know what to do, so of course they all listen to Lurant, because only Lurant is more prestigious here.

Running along the way, of course, the people on the way also noticed the people who were running, of course wondering what was going on, I don't know whether to keep up or not. And I just wanted to ask what was going on, and there was this crowd screaming, "Run, someone's calling from behind! ”

“What, are we hit? ”

“Come on, kid, his dad, run. ”

I didn't see anyone, but I heard that everyone was nervous, so I started running away.

“Lurant, will the enemy ambush us again at the gate of the city?” Running and all of a sudden someone says that.

“Hmm?” Lurant was also stunned, yes, the biggest characteristic of Usomite City was that there was only one gate, and there was only one way out or into the city, so if you were an offensive force, you'd probably be guarding at the gate.

Lurant nodded and said, "You wait here. I'll check out the gate. ”

Of course, no one had a problem with it, so Lurant accidentally ran to the gate of the city, looked at the situation at the gate of the city, and saw two of his own colleagues, who were responsible for guarding the gate of the city and the city guards.

“Mead, Stills?” Lurant walked past by accident.

“Lurant? Why are you patrolling here?” One of the guards named Mead asked, "This is not Lurant's patrol area.

“Have you... uh... encountered any unexpected circumstances?” Lurant is a little strange too. Usomite city is just this gate. If anyone attacks, it must have come from this city. How can it be okay?

“Nothing happened.” Mead said, "It's a lot quieter in town all of a sudden. What's going on today? ”

“Yeah, Lurant, you know...” next to Stills just wanted to say something, and suddenly a "wow” burst of blood.

“Stills! Hmm? Uh...” Mead was just about to say something, and suddenly he fell straight down.

“Mead? Stills!” Lurant's whole body was stuck, unresponsive, suddenly dark in front of him, his body twisted, and he fell straight to the ground.
