Almark – Northern Sword, Southern Wand
Winter Holidays
The next morning.
When Almark woke up on time as usual, he remembered that there were no classes from today and grew big on the bed.
I went to my desk late last night.
I have a little more time until breakfast.
Let's walk outside to wake up.
Remember that and hook the uniform robe from your shoulder.
When I left the dorm, it was still dark outside.
When Almark lit a flame on his left hand, he turned to the garden.
Sure enough, you walked in the garden on the first morning of your summer vacation.
Almark remembers.
You just met Leila leaving the academy with a steep face.
It was supposed to be about six months ago, but it seems like it was a long time ago.
While recalling Leila's soft smile here recently, Almark, who was walking in the garden that gradually began to dawn at night, noticed a figure walking from behind the implant.
The steam is rising from the big body, like a white cloud.
Torque.
The torque, which sweats like mid-summer in the cold air of the winter, sees Al Mark and slaps his tongue.
"I've seen a nasty one since morning."
"Good morning, Torque. Time to train."
Almark looks at the amount of unusual sweat in torque.
"Until you sweat so much."
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I threw up the torque.
"It's none of your business."
That's right.
Almark nods, recalling that he was thrown on the ground many times in his previous tutorial.
"Is your magic technique the result of this training?"
"Ugh, I'm telling you."
The torque spit on the ground.
I was just putting together some training that I wouldn't be able to do for a while.
Well, speaking of which...
Almark is convinced by the words of the torque.
"Are you leaving the island today?"
"Today before noon, the pick up is coming."
Torque shrugs shoulders.
"If I don't see your face for the time being, I'll clean it up."
"I miss you."
Almark answers.
"I wanted you to come to Klan Island."
"I'm not going."
The torque distorts the mouth.
"Even if I don't go home, I won't go."
"Why not?"
"Because there's no point in going."
While saying this, the torque passes through Almark's side.
I don't have time to play with you guys.
"Professor Ilmis told me to take care of my time with my people."
Almark shouted at the back of the torque.
"I want my time with you to be important."
"Don't let me join you."
The torque answered without turning around.
"Bug spit runs."
"You're one of mine.I think so. "
Almark said.
"But I'm not asking for your permission to think so.You won't admit it anyway. "
If you know what I mean.
Torque inadvertently turned around and shook his tongue as he saw Almark's expression.
"Funny bastard. Do what you want."
"Thank you."
Almark smiles.
The torque distorted his face in abomination and walked away.
After leaving his back for a while, Almark began walking slowly through the garden again.
In the afternoon of that day, families and colleagues of returning students visited the academy and lived in front of the dormitory.
Nevertheless, unlike summer vacations, where almost all of the elementary school students returned home, winter vacations were a minority of the students who returned home.Especially the third graders who skipped the graduation exam chose to stay mostly in the dormitory.
Almark watched the student's reunion with his family and close relatives from his room window, from which he found torque walking away with the servant carrying the luggage, and shouted on his back, but the torque did not turn around.
Only the servant turned to look sorry and lowered his head.
The winter holidays were as usual except for the absence of classes.
Almark studied seating in his room and library during the day, and when it was time for refresher training, he went to the magic practice hall to practice magic with his classmates.
When I got stuck studying and wanted to distract myself, I peeked into the dorm's chat room and found out who I knew.
Unlike during summer vacations, there are now many friends in other classes and junior students.
In addition to enjoying an unparalleled chat with his classmates, Almark spent time surrounding playboards with Ain and Fiquet, and practicing martial arts with Koren and Polois.
As the day of the trip approached, Almark pulled his tent out of the dorm warehouse with Morgan and Nelson and drowned it.
Every day it was calm, but it was just like flying.
It was the day I stopped leaving for Klan Island the next day.
After finishing his studies in the library, Almark was walking down the road to the dorm.
The day before yesterday, Almark, who worked again on exam preparation in his second tutorial with Wendy, impressed Wendy with his first failure as a lesson and showing steady improvement.
But Wendy still couldn't put her magic into the leg.
Wendy didn't say anything about it anymore, but the thought that she had betrayed her expectations cast a shadow over Almark's heart.
Today would have been Wallis' second tutorial, but he left the island on the eve of his vacation, so the tutorial was gone and he was set for tomorrow's departure.
Almark, who hurried to the dorm early enough, acknowledged Leila's appearance as she headed to the dorm in the same direction.
Leila also seemed to be returning from magic training or self-study.
"Leila"
As Almark rushed toward the runway with a voice, Leila turned around and shouted, oh, oh.
You're going home, too.
"Yeah."
Almark nodded next to Leila.
"Is Leila coming home from practice?"
"Yeah."
Leila nods without changing her expression.
"Speaking of which, you were going to Klan Island tomorrow."
"Yeah, Leila didn't show up."
"Yeah."
"I'm sure everyone will be happy when you come.I'm sure there's only one more on the boat. "
In Almark's words, Leila softens her mouth slightly.
"You're taking care of yourself. Thank you."
"No, that's not it."
Almark talks.
"I really think so."
"What makes you think I'm not going?"
Leila said that and glanced at Almark.
"Of course."
Almark answers.
"Leila is busy studying, she's not going anywhere."
Half right.
Leila said.
"Half?"
Almark looked at Leila in surprise.
"I wonder what the other half is."
"You know, I don't like it when a lot of people do it together."
"Maybe."
Almark can focus on his voice.
"But if you go, it might be fun. That's quite a thing. "
Yes, it is.
Leila nodded honestly.
"It might be fun to go."
That's right.
Almark nodded.
"Let's go."
"But I'm not going."
Leila shook her head with a smile.
"Why?"
"Even if it was fun, I would be annoyed."
Irritable
Almark frowned.
"To whom?"
"I'm enjoying myself there.Even when I'm playing like this, I'm supposed to be able to do something, but I wonder if this is what I'm doing. "
"That's..."
Almark saw Leila with serious eyes.
"I'm sure you've overwhelmed yourself.Sometimes you need to breathe. "
"Dr. Ilmis said so."
Leila turned to the front before Almark said so.
"I'll study my breath out."
"Leila"
Seeing Almark in trouble, Leila smiled.
"Thank you for worrying."
Then I gently added.
"Have fun."
