There is one vacant seat in the classroom.

The seat was not finally filled until his teacher, Professor Fear, came in.

"Mr. Wallis is sick and off today."

Fear's words spread a sigh to the class.

"Speaking of which, when I saw Wallis in the dorm yesterday, he seemed kind of sick."

Morgan says.

Are you okay?

"Ma, isn't that nice? He's not even in martial arts."

Speak in a way that torque throws out.

"Torque, I don't say that. Wallis will take care of himself and be absent from the martial arts tournament tomorrow. Today, she said she was going to the city hospital herself and staying there overnight."

"One night at the hospital....."

Wendy sounds worried.

"So, Doctor, Wallis is pretty sick?

"That's not how it works."

Fear lay his eyes down.

"Wallis has something sick. [M] That it got a little worse. This has happened before, so don't worry about it."

Everyone looks at the story.

"It's okay. I'll be back by the end of the martial arts tournament."

As Fear recalls, the only substitute buyer for the boy

Wow, so I'm the only one supporting the martial arts tournament.

and raised a disgusting voice.

Buyer, cheer up, say it right.

Norish immediately said so, and the buyer shrugged his shoulders, saying, uh-huh.

"So, on the day before the martial arts tournament, it's a tradition to have someone say the words of solidarity for the tournament in front of everyone."

Fear says.

Words of solidarity.

That's what Almark thinks.

Someone comes forward and says, "Let's do our best."

"I was going to ask Wallis, a classmate, to take the day off."

Fear says so and looks around the class.

Well then, I guess I'll ask you for some torque.

The nominated torque shook his head with a bitter smile.

"Doctor, that's not my job."

Huh?

"Almark, you do it. If you're talking about class unity, you deserve better than me."

"Me?"

Suddenly named Almark shook his head bewildered.

"I don't know what to say if you say it so suddenly."

"Anything is fine. I don't have a settled dialogue. Say whatever you want."

"Whatever you like."

And Almark hesitated.

"It won't mess up. You can't win anything like that."

It was Leila who raised her angry voice.

His expression is calm, but there is a burning light in the back of his eyes.

"You're the leader. Keep it together, Almark."

Almark, good luck.

Wendy smiles and calls from next door.

"Guys, I want to hear your words."

"Please, Almark. You are the general. Then make up your mind."

Nelson says.

"Honestly, there's only Almark in here."

That's what Morgan nods at.

This morning, the four women who delivered a message of support in the wind also nodded after watching Almark.

"... okay, bye."

Almark stood in front of everyone.

The 14 eyes of the class are poured all at once on Almark.

I don't know what to say, it's not a cover, it's nothing, it's true.

Standing in front of a crowd is not bitter in itself, but I have never had the experience of talking to people in such a situation.

You won't be able to talk well.

After all, we have to tell everyone what we're thinking straight away.

"... as you all know, I just came to this academy six months ago."

Almark made up his mind and cut it out.

Everyone is silently listening to Almark.

"I can't use any magic, I don't know anything about my life here, people warmly accepted me. It happened, but he recognized me as a member of his class."

The torque is facing sideways.

Leila, who thought she was looking out the window, was staring at Almark.

"I was more pleased with that than anything. Thank you very much."

Almark looked slowly at everyone's faces one by one.

"That's why I think this class is the best. I don't know about other classes. But I'm sure I'm not mistaken. And I think tomorrow's tournament is a good opportunity to prove it."

Almark strengthens himself.

"Tomorrow I heard a lot of people coming, including the great men of the royal family. Let's show them we're the best in front of them."

Nelson and I met each other.

Morgan and I meet each other.

Reido, Garain, Deg, Pillman.

I can see everyone's eyes burning.

"I'll say it again. I believe this class is the best. I am proud to be part of this class. Everybody does, don't they?

Wendy nods at Almark's question with a smile on her face.

Thank you, Wendy. You always give me courage. [M]

Almark finally raised his voice again.

"So let's win tomorrow. Win and prove it."

"Yes, let's win!!"

Nelson screamed.

"Let's win!

Morgan shouted.

The boys who have been practicing with him speak up as they do.

Wendy applauds first. Everyone else then gave Almark a big round of applause.

I don't know the look on her face, but that Leila is clapping too. The torque was just a gesture of joining hands with my stepsister about three times.

Thank you, Mr. Almark.

Fear talks to Almark back in his seat and looks around in a slightly confused and exciting class.

"Wow, when did everybody get so united?

Reido answered the words.

"Doctor, children grow up while adults don't see it."

A corner of the city of Nork.

There was a boy crouching in the dark alley.

Dark blue robe.

I'm a student at the Magic Academy.

Beautiful glossy blonde hair peeking from a robe.

A straightforward look that will take everyone away.

But now his face was distorted in anguish.

"Shit."

Wallis spit out words that didn't resemble that beautiful face.

"It will still be beyond the sea. It's been so long....."

I sweat on my forehead.

"I'm the only one who sees this. It's not fair."

The whispered weak sound disappears into darkness without anyone asking.

"If there's anything I can do...."

Wallis murmured to squeeze it out.

I want to kill you.

With a crying, laughing voice.

I wish I could have killed him.
