I finish my morning class and eat lunch in the dining room.
Almark had lunch laughing at the same table as Morgan and Nelson, as usual.
Raidow remains torqued to say, "It's a tactical meeting."
"But Curime's script was amazing."
Nelson doesn't hide his excitement.
Father, I wonder if you can come to this year's magic festival. You want me to see where I'm a knight. "
"Why don't you write me a letter?"
Almark says.
"The Principality of Mix is next to Galai, so we'll make it to the Magic Festival."
Sort of.
Nelson has a thoughtful face.
"But Dad has a job, too. If you don't tell me that the knight I serve is good, I won't be able to come."
"My son will go because he's a knight, and he'll forgive me."
Morgan blows up Almark's words.
"Indeed. I didn't lie to you."
"Oh, that might be good."
Nelson laughs hard.
"No, I'll write it down."
"Dad, you might be surprised. My son became a knight, and I even forgave him."
Morgan says Nelson coughs heavily.
What are you talking about, Morgan?
"Hmm? Because that's what the script was like.
Nelson nodded in haste to a proper Morgan.
"Oh, the script? Oh, yeah. That's what the script looked like."
"Dad."
Almark looked out the dining room window.
A clear sky.
The cafeteria where the sun plunges in is dusty and warm even though winter is approaching.
The north will be completely winter already.
All creatures breathe in the cold, yet the battleless northern earth.
Dad, where is the Black Wolf Cavalry fighting now?
"I want you to see me too. Where I use my magic."
Nelson and Morgan face to face as Almark mutters.
"I'll show you one day."
Morgan said.
"Being a leading sorcerer doesn't interfere with distance."
That's right.
Nelson nodded.
"I flew in the wind."
"Thank you. I see."
Almark smiled.
Almark knows it's not that simple.
The north is too far to fly.
But I was happy that they were trying to cheer me up.
As Raido finished his meal without returning to the end and tried to clean up the dishes and return to the classroom, Almark was shouted from behind.
"My body is impermeable. Looks like he's still alive."
It was Ain who was laughing behind me.
"Hey, Ain."
"You've had a hard time hunting medicinal herbs."
That's how Ain lined up next to Almark.
"Yeah, that's the one."
That's how Almark answers and laughs bitterly.
"Oh, I thought so."
Ain nods with a smile.
"The Night Forest is a great place to set a trap. It's easier to do than a library."
Almark nodded in agreement to the words.
"Yeah, well, it was a big deal this time."
That said, I will briefly talk about the battle against darkness in the forest.
After listening, Ain laughed joyfully.
Next to Eldane is Volapa. I feel like I'm flipping a dark monster textbook. I didn't want to fight, but I wanted to see it for the after-school. "
"It's not funny. Me, Wendy and Morgan were dying."
That's what Almark said and frowned.
"I was a soul when I fought with you, so I could fight without worrying about my injuries, but this time I was born. I've been through a lot."
I see. It's a valuable experience. "
Ain's feelings are still somewhat different from those of other students.
"Please call me next time. I am more confident that it will be more useful than last time."
After saying that, Ain added as he remembered.
"Speaking of which, the three groups were blurry. The monsters in the woods are putting off herbal hunting."
"Oh, yeah. The three of us were supposed to practice before the next holiday."
Almark nodded.
"You've done wrong to the Korens."
"It's not your fault. The monsters gushed out on their own."
Ain laughs.
"Well, there are more militants in the three groups than you two. If there's a monster out there, it's going to make me happy."
Oh, I see.
Almark recalls three sets of faces.
Koluen. Polois. Eston and Rosphilia.
Sure enough, everybody's scared to death of monsters.
"However, if you postpone too much, the medicinal effect of the herb will be weakened. It's a tough place."
Almark nods at Ain's words.
"That's right. It could be tough around Illinois Hogsa until the day before the next holiday."
"Well, I can't help it. Then we have to change the potion we make."
After Ain said so, he changed the subject.
"Are they preparing for the Magic Festival?"
"Oh, I'm just getting started."
After nodding, Almark laughs at Ain.
"Is it possible to gather information?"
Well...
Ain is not bad.
"I was late for the martial arts tournament. Not at the Magic Festival."
"I don't really know where that is yet."
Almark has a good opportunity to question Ain.
I wonder if the magic festival stuff comes in the same order as martial arts competitions.
Stick to it.
Ain nods.
I see. You don't know anything, do you? Let me explain. "
Ain explains to Almark as he leaves the cafeteria side by side.
"During the three days of the Magic Festival, first-grade and second-grade performances are performed in the morning and third-grade performances in the afternoon on the stage of the elementary school auditorium. The first-grade is a chorus and the second-grade is a dance. I still can't do much decent magic, so this will be over in a short time. Instead, they'll have to do the same act every day for three days. And in the afternoon, it's a third-grade play. This is performed by each class on a daily basis. The first day is for one of us, and the second day for two of you. And the last day was three sets."
"Is there only one play?"
"That's right. That's why failure is unacceptable."
Ain laughs hard.
"School students and visitors vote for good classes each academic year. The winner of the class with the highest number of votes."
Hold on a second.
Almark inadvertently pinched his mouth.
"Well, anyway, the number of third-grade votes depends a lot on the number of visitors that day."
"That's right."
Ain nods.
"By the way, it's the first day of the year that gets the most visitors. The next day is day three."
"Is the second day the least?"
Ain nods with a smile when Almark is a little dissatisfied.
"Well, disadvantage would be disadvantage. However, there are some examples of two sets of plays winning, and it is not that they will never win. It would be a good handout for you who are winning martial arts tournaments."
Hmm.
Almark roars.
Unlike martial arts competitions, I don't absolutely want to win, but it seems quite hard to win.
By the way, what kind of play do you play?
When Ain approached, a loud voice was heard from the other side of the hallway.
Ain! Hey, Ain. Come here for a minute. Come on, come on! "
"Shut up."
Ain frowned.
"Ficke's always fine."
Almark laughs and Ain shakes his head with a bitter, crushed face.
"Just shut up."
"Ain, Ain! Hey, is that it? Can you hear me?"
"Let's get out of here."
Almark laughed, and Ain sighed greatly.
Tell me about the play again.
Then he walked away slowly towards Fiquet.
After dropping off his back, Almark went back to class.
