Amateur Old Man, Enjoy Reborn Football Life (Booked)

Episode 116: Join the First Practice

A few days have passed since the night of the presentation of the Olympic delegates.

As the school director said, I had a peaceful school life back.

"You're really gone..."

School drop-off time after the club.

The press force that was in front of the school gate, no one was ever there.

The school director would have been moving for me under the water.

Return home from the club.

I watch TV in my living room.

There was a picture of my face.

The TV headline reads: 'Who are you, Nolu Kota, the youngest and the youngest candidate for the football Olympics in history? ⁉'.

It's time for a sports corner on the evening news show.

Corna was officially presented by the school with some information about me.

Name, age and blood type.

background in elementary school.

Face photos and footage playing club football.

An interview with the advisor's teacher had also been circulated.

(Instead of letting the school come to interview you, you were releasing this information...)

This was all prepared by the school director and submitted to the press.

It was a neat summary of the information the audience wanted to know.

The press would have agreed to stop the interview in front of the school because of it.

Maybe the school director is quite the information-manager.

"Wow! Your brother's on TV!

"That's really awesome. My mom and my friends asked me a lot about Coata."

My sister and mother are thrilled to watch TV together.

Pretty embarrassing, but I was ready for this too.

"But your brother in this picture, something's wrong with the picture, isn't it, Mom?

"Right, Aoi. I want you to change your sleeping habits."

"Real brothers are from cooler!

The photographs of me prepared by the school are dishonorable to my family.

If you ask me that, a delicate selection of photographs indeed.

Obviously all the pictures are bad.

(I would have liked some cooler pictures...... well, come on)

Maybe that schoolmaster's conspiracy made this weird picture of his face?

Speaking of Maya, she stabbed me in the nail.

But I decided not to care.

Somehow, just one of these pictures stopped the disturbance at school.

All I can say is thank you to Maya's father.

"Speaking of which, will Coata be busy practicing for delegates?

"For now, on the Friday after tomorrow, it looks like we have a joint practice, Father"

I'll explain the upcoming schedule to my father who was also watching TV with me.

A representative from the Japan Football Association said there will be practice the day after tomorrow.

The high school will be on public holiday, so I planned to attend.

"Practice your brother's representative? I want to go see Aoi too!

"But Aoi would have school, wouldn't she?

"Oh, yeah? eheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh

Sunflower tries to come watch my football if there's a gap.

But middle school students are still compulsory, so they have to study properly.

Sunflowers around here are as childish as ever.

(Still, we're finally having a joint practice with the Olympic team... looking forward to it...)

The Olympic representative team has a special presence alongside Representative A.

I was excited to prepare for the day.

Then two days went by, and Friday came.

It is the day you will participate in your first practice as a delegate.

"Again, gentlemen. My name is Nolu Kota. Unbundled (mundane), thank you!

Meeting before practice begins.

He came to the meeting room, a Japanese practice area facility.

I introduce myself in front of all the members.

Anyway, I am the youngest participant.

You have to be polite from a constantly low position.

"Yes, don't get hard, Nolu Coata"

"From today on, we're on the same team. It doesn't matter how old you are, let's just relax."

Towards me like that, the delegates welcomed me with a warm reaction.

(Oh, they're all good people! I can't believe he's a good football guy, but he's got a good personality, a bunch of saints, here!

I am impressed by such a warm reaction.

Just talk here...... 'Keh. Don't let a high school kid come to the delegate for nothing!' I was also prepared to react like that.

But no athlete with such a spicy attitude was here.

"Uh, keep your greetings that far. I'm going to start a meeting. I know a lot of experience in convening delegates, but take note of them all again."

"" "Yes!

From the Olympic delegate's head coach, instructions fly in.

Finally, my activities as Olympic representative will begin.

Start with a meeting with your head.

I'll take out my notebook about the front seat of the meeting room.

A specialist instructor takes the stage and the first course starts.

(Hmmm... at first you think of yourself as a representative...)

The meeting began with unexpected content.

First of all, a mental lecture by an expert.

As a representative member of the Olympic Games, future precautions and more taught me.

(I see. However, I have to act shamelessly as a representative of Japan in the future...)

Listening to the lecture, I try my best to take notes.

Until now, I have lived as a regular general high school football player.

However, the Japanese people will pay attention to the announcement made on TV in the future.

During football practice and playing, of course, it's something to be serious about.

Even when you're going out, you have to be decent.

That's when you go to a neighborhood convenience store, you may not be able to be sloppy.

I have to be careful.

The fruitful first course is over and we move on to the second.

(Compliance lecture next…)

Compliance lectures are about observing laws, social codes, and ethics as representative athletes.

Football is loved all over the world, big sport.

Various problems may arise as a result.

Sometimes it disturbs the public, such as football gambling issues, doping issues, portrait rights issues, and tax evasion issues.

There were also cases of ramblings, insulting words and actions, discriminatory words and political statements by athletes that caused problems around the world.

So in the compliance course, we will exchange such examples and study them.

(Indeed, even in Germany, football had all sorts of compliance things to do...)

While taking the course, I recall the F.S.V. era.

Even then, after joining the group, I took many courses, including compliance.

Europe in particular was tough and I was also studying while signing a contract.

If you are also one of the top players abroad, your voice will be more visible than politicians.

Football players, as individual business owners, are often careful.

I will work hard to learn Japanese compliance precautions.

The second course is over and we move on to the final course.

(Hmm? Is that your last course next? Finally, a press response course…)

At the end of the meeting, the media precautions were taken.

Tell me about practical examples of answers and their mindsets.

(Certainly because professional football players get a lot of media coverage...)

In professional games, the players are interviewed by the press before leaving the stadium.

This is part of the service for fans watching TV.

So even right after the losing game, the players have to respond to the interview as best they can.

(This is mine. Looks fine this time)

I will not have media coverage.

Shortly after the recent announcement by the delegates, the media was pushing them to the school.

But it's completely sedated now.

Anyway, I'm still a freshman in high school. Even Olympic delegates should be modest members.

That's why you don't have to worry about getting interviewed by the press.

But I'll make a good note of it for once.

"The meeting will be more than that. After this, we'll do the whole exercise in the practice area."

The representative meeting will be over in no time.

From now on, time to move your body.

The time for practice with the representative members I was looking forward to has finally arrived.

"Today's practice, by the way, is public practice for the media. Remember the content of the earlier course!

"" "Yes!

Oh, is today media public practice day?

It must be shortly after the second announcement, so it will be made public.

The aim of those in the media would be the regular group of delegates and the ACE people.

Anyway, the whole of Japan is paying attention to their topic.

Well, it's none of my business, so it'll be fine.

With such lightness, I challenged my first practice.

(What, the number of these cameras and TV cameras is ⁉)

But my casual predictions fell off.

A frightening number of camera lenses are directed at me during practice.

"Hey, Coata. Don't worry too much."

"Ah, yes. Thank you. But why me so much..."

"That's because you're the first Olympic representative in Japanese football history to be an active freshman in high school."

"Oh, I see."

A representative member who is practicing his pass with me has spoken in a whisper.

He's worried about me.

According to that, much of what the press is looking for today is me.

(I didn't expect these experts to pay attention to me so far...)

The media formations in front of the last school gate were so-called wide-show people.

But today the press has all sorts of people.

Some wore professional company armbands, such as soccer magazines and soccer specialty shows.

Some of the retired ex-J leaguers are also here to cover it.

I'm a celebrity who wants an autograph later, too.

(Anyway, that's all for next year's Olympics...... Football Japanese representatives are getting attention......)

Next year's Osaka Olympics will be held in Japan for the first time in decades.

That is why the public's attention will also be high.

It is they, the media and professional interviewers, who heal the hunger of such public information.

(All right. I'm a reader, too, and I have to work hard!

I also love soccer magazines and TV shows.

Even in my previous and present life, I was really looking out for you.

So today I intend to give back, and I decided to work hard on my practice.

All I can do right now is practice hard.

(Plus practicing with representative members is really fun because you learn a lot!

While practicing, I was impressed across the board.

Twenty-four members here are all people of high-level competence.

The coaches are also crowded with cutting-edge experts from Japan.

It's treasure time for me to be practicing with them like that.

It was the happiest time.

"Okay, we'll do our best. Ooh!

I'm so excited, I raise my voice.

It resonates between weird things on the practice field.

Aww... this is embarrassing.

Just in time for practice, I screamed out loud.

"Active high school football Japanese representative, Nolu Kota. Strange from the first day of practice ⁉ are you okay, japanese representative ⁉ '

The next morning in the sports paper, there was such a headline.

(and ho... next time you need to be careful...)

This is how I made my national debut with an unwanted headline.
