Amateur Old Man, Enjoy Reborn Football Life (Booked)
Episode 125: Graduation and Admission Ceremony
It has been a month since I returned to Japan.
The calendar was in March.
"Hmm... March already..."
A month after returning home was a bummer, and not long passed.
Picking up the press at the airport was really hard.
But after that, I manage to get some peace.
Maya's father, the school director, responded appropriately this time.
Record footage of my interview, as before, and press release for the press.
As a result, persistent coverage attacks like those at the airport are completely gone.
(I feel like my interview footage still had a lot of weird faces...)
Is the school director still angry with me?
It protects me from the press, but I feel like I'm going to make a mental attack at a stronghold.
It also feels childish, a fine attack.
(But since you're letting me have a normal school life, well, let's not worry about it...)
When I returned home, I had returned to the same routine as before.
From Monday to Friday, practice early in the morning with everyone in the club. I usually take classes afterwards.
Sweat in football with everyone in the club after school.
Several times a month, there were also joint Olympic delegate exercises.
He reunited with 23 members to gain a high level of practice.
Other free time encouraged voluntary practice as usual.
Speaking of which, my body feels pretty good these days.
As I felt during the selection, the balance between body growth and moves matched.
"Hey, Coata. Time to go to graduation!
"Oh, yeah! We need to send out three years of seniors!
I have a high school graduation today.
When I was practicing in the morning, time was running out.
"Those brick seniors are graduating... I don't know, Courta."
"Yeah, you are. We're gonna miss our crew at once."
At the end of the graduation ceremony, the number of tails will be reduced at once.
Many of the regular groups in our department were occupied by third-year students.
In other grades, there are a few sophomores. I'm the only regular in a year.
The fact that the third graders have fallen out reduces their fighting power at once.
"But Coata. Our department was able to get to a pretty good place this fiscal year, so maybe some good freshmen will come in, too?
"Oh, right. Thanks to Coata."
The Tama High School football club was a feat at last year's football tournament in the capital.
It was going as far as the top eight in the capital that it was the best.
I was able to win all the matches I competed in.
But there are some matches that don't come out of representative relationships. That's when Tama High School was defeated.
But compared to last year, when losing World War 1 was the norm, Tokyo's Top 8 is a big leap forward.
"Thanks to Coata, too!
"Oh, right. Master Courta, you're so sweet!
"But you won when I wasn't around, so I guess it's thanks to everyone's strength, huh?
My words are nothing but flattery.
Due to the schedule of Olympic delegates, there were times when I couldn't make it to the club.
Even then, everyone in the department is getting results in the game.
This was also a gift (occasionally) of the hard work of all my teammates.
"When you told me that, did you have any confidence in us?
"Somehow you're an Olympic delegate, our fourteenth is!
"Right. Don't even push it since April, I asked you, Courta!
"Yeah. Whenever I can, I'll be in the club."
Speaking of which, it's a private schedule, and I've only had a few changes.
That the Nolu family's plans to live in Tokyo have only grown for a few months.
My father made great achievements in his work in Tokyo and postponed it until September.
I mean, I got to take care of this ball-high football club, too.
"Hey! Isn't the chime ringing ⁉"
"Oh no! The graduation has begun!
"We're going first, Coata!
"What? Huh? Wait, guys!
Soon time had passed.
I'm the only one still wearing practice clothes, and I change in the dash.
(Just a little more, it would be really nice to have this part here...)
This is how the graduation ceremony ends safely.
My freshman year, March, passed in a doozy manner.
◇
Then a month goes by, and the calendar is in April.
I was able to successfully advance to sophomore year at Tama High School.
The days of attendance for Olympic delegates were public holidays and they managed to be okay.
It's admission day.
We introduced PR to the club in front of all freshmen.
PR publicity worked pretty hard.
Distribute public lifting and flyers to appeal to the presence of the department.
Anyway, our football club is basically small and weak.
We need to replenish whatever hole the previous third grade dropped.
After the entrance ceremony there is public practice, so I want some of you to come and see the football club as well.
PR time at the gym is over, and I'm heading to the practice grand.
"N⁉ What, that crowd is ⁉"
After finishing dressing for practice in my room, I'll be stunned.
The Grand was in a terrible state.
There were dozens of people in the football club.
"Whoa, Coata, you're here."
"Guys...... what's that? Could it be..."
"Oh, yeah, Coata. That's all they want."
"Wow... so many times as many of us did last year..."
I am taken lightly.
There were many times more prospective entrants coming than I had assumed.
There were dozens of prospective entrants last year, but dozens this year.
"Hey, look over there! It's Mr. Nolu Coata!
"Wow! It's real!"
"Me, I've been admiring your play in qualifying and enrolled in this school!
"Me too!
Early on when I came to Grand, I was surrounded by people who wanted to join me.
Right... you know what?
My election as Olympic delegate was on TV last fall.
Also, the final qualifying round for the Asian District is broadcast nationally on Japanese soil.
That's why soccer junior high school students from all over the country who watched the broadcast have been enrolled so much.
"Mr. Nolu Courta! Do you qualify for admission to this department?
"Do you have a selection to get into the same part as you?
A freshman came gouging at me.
Anyway, when you become a famous football club, you have a tough entrance test.
They will want to know about the entry conditions.
Everyone comes forward with a hot fighting spirit.
"General Manager... help me..."
Almost crushed, I ask the new third-year general manager for help.
I couldn't even think about eligibility or selection.
"All right, leave it to me, Coata! Hey, you guys, listen up! You don't need any credentials or selections to play with the Nolu Courta there!
"" Oh ⁉ don't you need qualifications or selections ⁉ ""
To the words of the new General Manager, those wishing to enter hail.
I never dreamed I'd be able to play unconditionally with an Olympic delegate.
"All our department needs is to think and play for itself. Enjoying some more football. And as much as he comes to morning practice at 6: 00 every morning, he's the only one who likes football. Do you guys here deserve that?
"" "Yes!
"All right, then I'll let you in on the experience now! The guy I've got for you, get dressed in that room there!
"" "Yes!
To the inquiry of the new director, the freshman speaks up.
I was in a pretty good mood, and Grand was wrapped up in the heat of excitement.
Freshmen dash into their rooms to get dressed.
(Ugh... you've got a big deal going on... let's leave the rest to the general manager...)
I was able to escape the freshman wave.
Take a breath and look at those who wish to enter.
(Now the understaffing has been eliminated...... I'm glad you have so many more juniors who like football......)
Many of the prospective entrants had brought their own football uniforms.
They will really like football.
(Oh, there's a good boy...)
Many of the people who want to join the club look pretty good.
The legs were carried and some strength was asked from the spikes used.
To be honest, there were more talented entrants than two or three years.
(I don't know what will happen to me this year...)
I'm still a candidate for the Olympics right now.
So I tend to take some time off.
The next choice of Olympic delegates is in late June.
The final eighteen will be announced on TV that day.
(If the freshman settles in like this, my part of you is going to be pretty strong...)
If it's just the material, we've got quite a few powerful prospects for entry.
Even without me, the ball-high football club will do better than it did last year.
I'm happy with what's going on in the stable part.
"Senior Coata! Practice with us!
"Tell me something moves!
Hmm?
Will the club start?
A new recruit is calling about me.
(All right. I haven't been a junior in a long time! I need to stick around and teach you!
In middle school I played with adults in Germany.
That's why I had juniors since elementary school.
This time they're in high school, so they'll be fine with some pretty difficult and hard moves.
All right!
I'm gonna go gunning, juniors.
I'll tell you what moves I have!
◇
And it will be the next day.
There were dozens of prospective entrants, what a reduction in half.
Only a dozen people came to practice in the morning.
Rumor has it I can no longer follow my hard practice.
Oh...... I did......
As I did in elementary school, I overdid it again.
To the hopeful, what a mess, I...
"Never mind, Coata. The other half is the elite ones with the temper."
"Yes... thank you for your concern, General Manager..."
Thank you, General Manager.
That would be really helpful if you could say that.
But from today on, I'll be a little more careful and practice for you.
It's the motto of our department, how fun it is.
Let's have some fun this morning.
"Hmm? You guys want to join?
That is the time.
The sunflower that finished dressing came to the ground.
My sister's not one of us, but she's only mixed up in practice in the morning.
Oh, shit... I forgot about the sunflower.
"You guys! Don't pull your brother's leg!
"Oh, Aoi... be a little nicer to you..."
"There! Run more! What do you think your brother's pass is? ⁉"
Speaking of which, I forgot.
Aoi is pretty harsh on others who play soccer.
Especially when it comes to my teammates.
Even the inflexible German youth had tears in their eyes during German times due to the harshness of Aoi.
In normal freshmen, mental doesn't hold.
"Oh, Aoi... they're normal freshmen kind of..."
When I realized it was already too late.
◇
A few days later.
Freshmen in the football club had fallen dramatically to thirteen.
I couldn't resist Sunflower's fierce training and stopped it again.
But the freshman who stayed for me had a sudden change of face.
They have a strong temper and guts, reliable elites.
This is how the Tama High School football club evolved into a mighty school, and a new moment began.
