In the previous Golden era, the Bujia people created the statues and named them ’Traminir’ — a Titan from some ancient legend. These sacred weapons were once the ultimate tools of the Order People against Twilight, but ever since the fall of the final fortress ’babel’, everything associated with them gradually disappeared into the stream of history.

Yet the legends associated with them continued to circulate throughout the Earth. Their power and might are still praised by people today as one of the few mortal weapons that could stand against Twilight — supreme creations.

And until today, they appeared again before the world —

When the first statue stood erect, a second Titan rose from the Earth. Brand, upon seeing this scene, didn’t think twice and immediately turned away — running towards Antitina’s direction. The King of Chaos, Meisika, was momentarily stunned before reacting, "Teleportation Gate! Stop him!" It screamed sharply with surprise and anger.

Brand had precisely this plan; upon seeing the two Titans appear, he realized victory was unlikely, so it’s better to find a way to blow up the Teleportation Gate before the opponent arrives.

Of course, the priority was to save Antitina.

Eagle Djal quickly gave chase. But Char intercepted him, incanting, "I command you cannot pass each other, Wall’s Law!" With his uninjured left hand, he cast a spell that remarkably took shape, and a force field wall stretched between the two.

The wall appeared so abruptly that Djal almost crashed into it, but his keen reflexes allowed him to halt just in time, turning mid-air to counter the wall with a reverse sword strike. A loud ’bang’ echoed as the sword hit the transparent force wall, only causing rippling waves without budging an inch.

Helpless, Djal retreated, attempting to bypass the wall from the sides. Yet this pause already wasted the most precious opportunity. Nicholas, at this moment, finally killed the last Long-Horned Demon and noticed everything happening here. The Sipah Great Sword Master turned and swept his sword across hundreds of meters, the flaming sword wind slashing directly at Eagle Djal.

Although Eagle Djal was reputed as a famed swordsman in Anlek, he lacked the courage to compare himself with Nicholas. Seeing the flame draw a golden-red line rushing towards him in the rainy night, his face changed as he clumsily rolled back to narrowly dodge the sword.

Though he avoided the sword, his clothes ended up rolling through the mud, leaving him in utter disarray upon standing up. Djal, hot-tempered, could not resist the fury, shouting with hair on end, "Nicholas, are you betraying Duke Sipah?" He angrily called.

Nicholas paid no heed to this fool, appearing next to Char in an instant, intercepting the advancing King of Chaos, Meisika with a blade. Meisika yelled in frustration, but at this moment, it was no match for Flame-haired Nicholas; no matter how furious, it could only watch as Brand dashed alone towards the Teleportation Gate.

...

Brand ran desperately forward; the Titan statues were the Bujia Wizards’ supreme creations, legend has it that they, like ancient Giant Clan, wielded the power of lightning. Although they were lifeless stones, they could traverse the battlefield as lightning. One can imagine the lightning’s speed, so he must destroy the Teleportation Gate before the opponent arrives.

After running a few steps, he found the staff lady’s corpse. Antitina was motionless, her long dress almost soaked with blood — although somewhat prepared, Brand couldn’t restrain a pang in his heart upon seeing Antitina’s pale, peaceful visage with closed eyes.

She could have lived a stable life in Brags, poor and downtrodden, but at least not die an untimely death. He knew one day she would produce her own Magic Power Core, becoming Erune’s brightest shining star.

Yet she chose to walk this path with him.

Even forsaking the work she loved dearly, never once did she blame him. She would stand silently by his side, advising him on how a competent noble should act, somewhat rigid but filled with goodwill and anticipation.

Brand once thought of the staff lady as overly rigid, but until he lost her, he realized how much he owed this young woman.
