Chapter 1094: Teleportation

"!!!" The Sword Saint widened his eyes. From the beginning, Clovis intended to stop him. This was the first time he had seen Clovis really run away. He thought Clovis wanted to defeat him.

But this action made him even more convinced that Clovis had a time limit. He was about to reach it, so he had no choice but to run away.

The Sword Saint shouted, "Send back all the air support to me right now. Clovis Hacfield has finally started running away. He’s about to reach his time limit. There are two people with unique abilities and one with a pseudo unique ability here. This place has a higher priority!"

The Sword Saint was determined to kill Clovis. He would definitely parade his head later.

Because of his order, the helicopters and fighter jets that were on the way toward Jay’s group had no choice but to turn around.

In the end, the only thing that could help those soldiers who chased Jay’s group was the tanks that shot them from afar.

However, the tanks couldn’t keep up with their speed, so the first two shots were the only ones that could reach them, so they didn’t slow Jay’s group a lot, and the soldiers failed to catch up.

For the soldiers, they would be extremely frustrated because they were about to catch up. But in the strategic view, they couldn’t help but agree with the Sword Saint. Clovis and Christina possessed unique abilities. If they took these two down, the Libation Fiesta would become extremely weak.

That was why they should return. They expected Clovis to leave the jungle so that the air support would become effective again.

The Sword Saint leaped toward them, trying to prevent them from getting too far.

But Christina abruptly halted her momentum and turned around. "Provoke!"

"!!!" The Sword Saint expected them to continue running, but he wondered if Christina was going to sacrifice her life for Clovis and Aileen.

The answer soon became visible. He ignored Aileen, but he realized Clovis was gone.

However, his sword paths suddenly became strength, making him realize Clovis was actually hiding behind Christina.

The Sword Saint hurriedly swung his sword forward.

As he expected, Christina was just tricking him. She put the shields down so that they could block his vision. Clovis moved behind her and gathered his power.

The moment he was ready, Christina ducked.

Clovis’s right foot stepped forward as he unleashed his strongest sword strike.

The blade expanded and cut every tree in its path.

Fortunately, his sword paths were able to figure it out. If he was late from swinging his blade, the Sword Saint couldn’t imagine the consequences.

"Haaaaa!" The Sword Saint roared as he clashed with Clovis’ sword strike.

His hands became numb as the shock wave cut his clothes, leaving some wounds on his arms.

However, he managed to withstand it. The Sword Saint cut the sword strike down. "Haa..."

When he raised his head to locate Clovis or Aileen, he suddenly saw the three of them standing side-by-side as if there was no pressure from the battle.

"Sword Saint... Aren’t you curious about my unique ability?" Clovis grinned. "Do you know why I have only these two with me? Do you know why I’ve been stalling you here?"

The Sword Saint’s body shook. As he expected, everything had been arranged by Clovis.

"Because I only have two hands." Clovis suddenly bit both thumbs and pressed the blood onto Aileen and Christina’s cheeks.

"!!!"

’What is he doing?’

’It’s dangerous.’

’I should stop him.’

The Sword Saint already knew Clovis’s affinity. Normally, the unique ability was related to their affinity. If Clovis had a blood affinity, his unique ability would be either speed or something related to blood.

It turned out Clovis could do something with that blood. This might be the method he used to create the paintings.

Still, he didn’t expect that this method would actually work with humans. He just didn’t know what kind of ability Clovis intended to use.

"Teleport!" Clovis shouted before muttering inwardly, ’Enter!’

"!!!" The Sword Saint froze as he couldn’t believe what he had just seen. Clovis, Christina, and Aileen abruptly disappeared from his vision.

If it was about them moving at high speed, it was impossible for any of them to move fast enough to fool his eyes. In other words, Clovis didn’t move. Just like what he said, he might teleport or disappear like ghosts.

"What?!" The Sword Saint couldn’t believe it. He rushed toward the spot where Clovis had disappeared.

He looked left and right, trying to find a trace of him. He might have just disappeared, but his physical body was still here.

Unfortunately for him, his sword path, or the lack thereof, told him the opposite thing. Clovis had truly gone. It was as if his existence had been erased.

The Sword Saint gritted his teeth. He had done a lot of things to stop Clovis. How could he end up failing? The Spear Saint came into his mind.

He didn’t want to be a failure like the Spear Saint, who kept failing to catch Clovis and the Libation Fiesta.

He swung his blade in all directions, cutting everything around him.

Boom!

Bam!

The trees slid down and fell to the ground, opening a massive area. Unfortunately, once the dust settled, the field became clear. There was no sign of Clovis.

"What?" The Sword Saint panicked. He couldn’t let Clovis go, but how could he fight against teleportation?

The Sword Saint finally experienced his first failure against the Libation Fiesta. If the Spear Saint were here, he would probably give a path to the Sword Saint with a smug smile as if he were saying, ’First time?’

"Haaaaa!" The Sword Saint roared. He made a blunder. He should have done everything he could to close the distance between them. This way, Clovis wouldn’t be able to use any of his abilities.

Unfortunately, regret came too late. Clovis was already gone.

Little did he know, Clovis was still there, but inside Another World Mall. He asked with a smile. "Let’s have a snack."

"I want bubble tea."

"I’m going to buy crepes."
