"No way, it's"
"No way, Father. If I could, I didn't want to borrow this kind of paper cut."
"Your Majesty, look here"
"Uhm."
For the first time a piece of paper is laid before Lloyd, from the hand of Clovis to the hand of King James. After revealing the contents with a serious face, the king closed his eyes and sighed small.
"This is a pledge. It was also tied between the Lord and something in Aardar…. Written in lost words, but if you are a Heilland and Aardhar person, you do not know what that means"
I swear by the protection of heaven.
I will welcome you as a friend.
The nobles in the Privy Council, of course, understood correctly the words translated and read out by King James.
The words were spoken by Estelle, the founding king, to his subordinates, who supported him when he built Heyland in the land. That includes the meaning of trusting the other person as a friend and never betraying him.
"I guess the other person will have a similar pledge. There must be a Sutherland family crest pressed there. This is what is being pushed against this pledge."
When I saw the paper put up by King James, the nobles moaned uniformly. For those who did not know a few, lead assistant Nigel answered, on behalf, the meaning of the engraving.
"The black horse of the conquering king Julius. It is an engraving that is only allowed to be used by those belonging to the Senate of Aardar. Let us speak of no further evidence, showing that Sir Lloyd had a connection with a senior official from a neighbouring country."
"Impossible. Why, that's what's here......!
"Thank you, Lord Liddy, and those who serve the Sutherland family."
A glimmer of sweat fell from Lloyd's forehead, who opened his eyes in amazement. In contrast, in graceful manners Clovis pointed to meritorious men.
"Sir Lloyd, you are a careful man. That is why I thought it was likely that there would be no evidence left linking me to my neighbours"
"I agree with this man on that point, too. But my father was cautious, so I thought about when the dealer would renege on his promise, and I thought that the only contract that would connect them would always be in form."
That's how Liddy waved the first time.
"I always wanted to be your father. So I know you better than anyone."
Lloyd and senior officials from neighboring countries, three convinced of the existence of documents showing the relationship between the two, Alicia, Clovis and Liddy, immediately began to act.
What was needed was Alberto, a young servant of the Sutherland family, whom Liddy had brought as a trustworthy man. According to him, the fact that our Lord Lloyd was secretly planning something and taking action meant that servants throughout the mansion felt somewhat.
So stealing Lloyd's eyes, Liddy and Alberto gathered from the servants the information they would come to know in death and madness.
They were all deeply loyal to the Sutherland family, and it was not for the most part in line to let their mouths crack. But usually the great Liddy desperately bowed his head around and whether Alberto had a mouthfeel for it, and at the end of the day he cooperated.
The information they learned was fragmentary, and joining together was a rather bone-breaking task. Nevertheless, as the testimony gathered, the whole picture gradually emerged and Lloyd succeeded in identifying several places he thought he was using to meet with neighboring interlocutors.
Then the auxiliary room and the Kingsguard knights searched the area for suspicious documents. Finally, the Sutherland family found documents in one of their separate mansions in Sheraford territory when the sun dyed the sky white.
Leading aide Nigel rubbed his eyebrows with his fingers as he stirred up the tiredness that had struck the search all night.
"If all the servants hadn't cooperated, and most importantly, if Sir Liddy hadn't persuaded them, we wouldn't have even been able to believe that Lord Lloyd was passing through neighbouring countries, whether or not there were documents"
"But thanks to the courage of so many people, the pledge was exposed during the day."
Clovis stood before Lloyd, blurring his lips, and his crystal-like clear eyes looked straight at the Lord.
"No longer, ever. Admit you were secretly with your neighbor, right?
A painful silence ruled the hall. No one wandered around, and only the fire that lit the chandelier shook and shadowed every bit.
The nobles of the Privy Council have deflected their expressions in an unprecedented scandal that they can no longer doubt. After finishing the role, Liddy is grinning at her father with a pale face, nervously relieved.
Eventually it broke the silence and a dry laugh sounded.
The Lord of the Voice was Lloyd. The exhaling laughter gradually grew louder, and at last Lloyd glanced at himself and laughed like he was broken.
