In the sky of Heilland, an empty cannon sounds. Using that as a signal, the three-day founding ceremony opened at Egdiel Castle.
Many guests from all over the country were invited to the ceremony. Of course the Privy Council, lords and nobles like Jude, the heads of the Knights who keep each East, West and North, artists such as musicians and painters, well-known merchants -.
In the Founding Ceremony, as a tradition, the "covenant" between Estelle the Founding King and the Guardian Star is reproduced in various ways. The most typical of these is the ceremonial ritual that places the king of the hour, the embodiment of the guardian star's asylum, at the priesthood.
The festival is in the form of the Star Reading Religion, formerly practised in the Chester Hokuriku. For this reason, nowadays there will be prayers, simulations, and myth-based ceremonies in lost languages, which will give rise to an atmosphere of alienation somewhere.
A ceremonial ceremony will take place almost all day on the first day, followed by a national parade on the boulevard linking the city to the castle. Here we escape the hands of the pursuers and are led by spirits and stars to reach Heilland, reproducing in action until a covenant is made with the guardian star.
And on the third and final day, there will be a large luncheon with the king and guests surrounding their seats over half a day. Then there will be a ball that will be the closing of the ceremony.
Alicia, who is regarded as royal and heir to the throne of Heilland, naturally participates in all ceremonies. Basically, even though it's not a problem as long as you show your face, how can it seem quite busy as events shift one after another?
Clovis, on the other hand, had also come to Alicia's side and refrained on major occasions, but in other parts, he was still busy standing around as an aide.
That was why the dazzling first two days had passed and we were celebrating our third day of luncheon. In doing so, Alicia went to speak to Dan Dreyfuss, director of the Regional Council.
"Excuse me, Mrs. Dreyfuss. Can I borrow your husband for a little while?
"This, Master Alicia. Isn't Nigel with you?"
On behalf of Madame, it was Dreyfuss who answered in a wild voice. There was no stopping his wife, son, or courtier with him, and Dreyfuss plucked his mouth around with napkins luxuriously before standing up immediately.
Waiting for dessert to come out decorating the end of the luncheon, people are relaxing and welcoming. Listening to those pleasant voices in the background, Alicia, lead aide Nigel Otto, Secretary Dreyfuss, and the other gathered behind the pillars.
The rest of you, that's Daniel Sutherland, acting head of the Sheraford branch of the Regional Council.
He said he was Liddy's cousin and had been involved in running the Sheraford branch with Liddy from time to time. Alicia was also the first to see him two days ago in a ceremony, but, unlike Liddy, she had the impression that she was quite a core young man, although there were small things she cared about.
"A letter from Liddy, is...?
The Daniel opens his mouth in such a way as to be afraid. I heard you were older than Liddy, but watching you look at this one round your big back to the top kind of makes me feel like I'm watching a puppy that's strayed away with my parents. With that sentiment, Alicia nodded.
"Yep. First of all, I'll tell the members here because I've been able to make sure he's fine. So, it's the content..."
So Alicia explains what she talked to Clovis about the other day, scratching. By the way, Nigel and King James talk beforehand. On top of that, I came to the conclusion that I would tell Dreyfuss and Daniel.
"Speaking of Chancellor Eric Yugdrasil, isn't it the man who has been serving that right arm ever since the empress next door reigned? A man like that said he was going through with Lloyd?
"I can't be sure yet. But Liddy decided to move on that line. Yes, I can guess from this letter."
Dreyfuss, with his eyes rounded, was often dazed. Then I held my head. "Kah," "pity," "the king's right arm, what a scandal," and so on, so I guess it was more unforgivable for Dreyfus, who genuinely hates not being able to get through.
Daniel saw Alicia and Nigel as they grated at Dreyfuss like that.
"So..., what do we do when we find out about it?
"Let me explain that to you."
Nigel takes a step forward as he presses his glasses up properly. The lead aide opened his mouth, not Alicia, which means that it was an instruction from King James. Daniel, who quickly figured it out, gets nervous with a slightly cat-backed back stretch.
"Dreyfuss. Get in touch with the Knights of the South as soon as possible and raise the border alert level in case you can move quickly. If Chancellor Yugdrasil is really holding back, he is also in a position to move the army easily."
"Okay. That's why, Daniel. I'll support you, too, but any adjustments at the Shefford Branch will get you moving. So, it's neighboring Duke Jerus territory..., how far can I tell Fudge?
"I'm also going to tell him what the letter is about. The Duke also cared about Liddy."
"Oh. No, he's known Liddy since he was a little girl."
Make a gap between your thumb and index finger, and Dreyfus clasps his shoulder. In that gap, Alicia opened her mouth again.
"So when the founding ceremony is over and settled, I'm going to visit the Sheraford branch. Daniel will be on a rushed schedule, but I don't know if he'll mind."
"And is it an inspection!?"
"What are you freaking out about, you? Master Alicia, I need you to take me straight to my feet. That would be an honor."
Dreyfuss nodded forcefully after hitting Daniel's back, trembling all at once.
"Of course, I'm fine. I myself was going to take a trip to the Shefford branch by then, so I'll be with you. So I was surprised, and I was hoping I could check the defense system."
"Yeah, is the Secretary coming too?!?"
"Of course not, but without Liddy, you're the only one I can count on!
Nigel shook his head at the exchange between Dreyfuss and Daniel, which became noisy as soon as possible, and Alicia blew it small. He laughed at the dullness, but again he thought that he was glad that someone like Dreyfuss was a good caretaker.
And finally, the ball begins.
Your ladies gorgeous dress brightens up the dance hall. On a light waltz examination, one gentleman takes the lady's hand and dances gracefully, while one old gentleman mumbles the song.
When it came to Alicia, she was basically escorted by her father, King James, while turning again in solidarity with the guests.
The face of the Privy Council aristocrats and the Merriculius Chamber of Commerce, who have seen Alicia since childhood, when they speak, greet me back in a flamboyant manner and interest me in a long conversation. But most of the time, such as the first-time speaker, would be laughed at by King James in answer to a slight nervousness after he often slurred his mouth at Alicia's beauty, known as the Blue Rose of Heilland.
By the time I had finished speaking to almost all my guests over a long period of time, I had occasionally responded to the dance, and Alicia was tired at the snare. That said, Alicia escaped to the balcony in search of a night breeze, even though she could not appear sloppy in the official setting of the ball.
Good thing nobody was there, Alicia even leaned against the railing and stared at the little street light floating across the darkness. You can't try to be held back by the walls from here, but by now the star festival will be celebrating its final day, and people will be gathering to run lanterns down the Elam River.
That's how I felt under the castle, a voice hung on the princess's back.
"Good evening, Dear Alicia. May I come with you, may I interrupt?
"Jude, yes, of course you're welcome."
Alicia, looking back, found there the figure of Rosen Marquis Jude Nicole and broke her face. Then he floated the familiar and loving Ekubo, and lined up with delight to Alicia.
Jude's hand holds two thin champagne glasses. Passing one to Alicia, he made a slight noise with the chin and toast.
"How was the ceremony? After all, were you bored?
"I enjoyed the outdoors. It's been a while since I've been out, and there's something interesting about it. Especially the story about the founding of the country, isn't it? Merchants in Merricius were delighted."
Jude laughs at me, still honest. "But," he said, putting up the hands of those who did not have a glass, stretching out loud.
"When it comes to prom, we don't talk about it. As far as I'm concerned, it's about time we rolled out to the star festival and stretched our feathers. Truth is, aren't you the same? So here I am."
"That's amazing. Jude seems to read my mind."
"I'm not reading my mind. He's a merchant."
By the way, I thought I'd take another guess.
So Jude winked, like a prank.
"When I spoke, you expected someone else for a moment. Hehe, right. Isn't that, for example, Kurokun?
Surprised, Alicia looked up all the time. But the Marquis, who sees this one in the dim, only has a friendly grin, and there was never a color there to blame for it, if not how it was to be browned.
So Alicia opened her mouth thoughtfully.
"You were aware."
"Are you saying that you admire Kuro-kun? I see. I knew it. Business is like reading mindsets."
Laughing for fun, then Jude gently stirs up the glass. The next time I saw Alicia, her eyes were floating in terribly gentle colors.
"So, finally, you've accomplished a long thought."
"Do you even know that!?"
"Too bad! That's a mess. But you are! Hey, congratulations."
Jude is happy to let go, as if about herself, saying "kamakake" etc. with no evil. Meanwhile, when Alicia is inadvertently embedded, her gaze at Jude becomes resentful.
"Don't be angry," Jude grinned bitterly, realizing the princess's gaze toward her was disturbing.
"I'm very happy. You chose not to be a prince, but a clown who has always stood by you."
"... for once, I'll stab the nail, but don't tell me? Because the fringe conversation with your neighbor didn't disappear clearly, and your father doesn't know it yet."
"Of course, I know. But what's your identity! What's your position! Aren't all people born equal and free!
"Ko, my voice is loud!
Don't panic about the marquis holding his fist so hard. If this is also voiced and forcefully theorized, it will simply look like an Abunai before what the talk is about.
She was a chilling Alicia, but Jude was calm and waved her palms flickering to cool off a moment's heat up. And as he deposited himself on the railing again, he narrowed his eyes to nostalgia with his face facing the streets that were hidden beyond the walls of the castle.
