As she approached the warehouse, she was stunned by the sight inside. The once jam-packed warehouse was now completely empty; all the Ice Cool Grass inside had vanished.

The Gardener Snowman blinked hard, and then, as if that wasn’t enough, rubbed her eyes with her hands to confirm that what she was seeing was real.

A moment later, she finally turned on her Intelligent Brain. A few seconds later, a lazy, arrogant voice came through. "Oh, it’s you. Have you made up your mind? I’m only giving you this price as a favor to a friend. Otherwise, if you went to someone else, they might not even bother with you. Recyclers are very busy these days."

Hearing the incredibly arrogant voice from the Intelligent Brain, the Gardener Snowman retorted forcefully, "Made up my mind, my ass! I’m just calling to tell you that even if you offered to help for free now, I wouldn’t use you."

After hanging up, the Gardener Snowman let out a sigh of relief. The frustration pent up in her chest was finally gone. She felt completely at ease.

Meanwhile, Moira Lynch was still wandering around. The entire Glacial Directorate was vast, and the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful.

Moira Lynch couldn’t resist taking out her camera to capture the beautiful scene.

Although her Intelligent Brain could also record, she preferred photos.

The camera in her hands was an interstellar model, only about the size of one hand. It was simple to operate, produced clear images, and could print out photos—moving ones, at that—instantly after being taken.

At the same time, aboard a spaceship in the skies above Glacius, a soldier cursed irritably, "Are these people deaf? We told them we’re here to rescue them, but they’re still running. They’re even screaming and shouting while they run, and it caused an avalanche."

At that moment, Kai York and Shane Rhodes, who had already been rescued and were on the spaceship, exchanged a look. ’They don’t understand what you’re saying,’ they thought. ’Seeing you all in full gear, of course they’re going to run.’

Just then, Shane Rhodes stood up and said to the soldier in a slightly unpracticed interstellar language, "Let me try."

The man glanced at Shane Rhodes, then at the Marshal behind him. Seeing the Marshal nod, he stepped aside.

Shane Rhodes approached the machine and explained the situation in Mandarin: these people were here to rescue them, so they shouldn’t run around or scream.

After speaking, Shane Rhodes returned to his seat. He had said what needed to be said; whether the other players listened was their own business.

Kai York looked at the returning Shane Rhodes and sighed. "I wonder how Hugh Finch and Moira are doing. I haven’t found them this whole game."

"Maybe they weren’t in the same game as us. Don’t worry, they’ll be fine."

Hearing this, Kai York nodded. ’Those two might not have much combat power, but Hugh Finch can perform divination and always manages to turn bad situations around. And as for Moira Lynch, even we don’t know how many aces she has up her sleeve. They’ll definitely be fine.’

"Oh, right, Boss. This time I ran into SoySauceDrunkard—no, that’s not right, it was more like she found us. She even saved us once. And her Talent seems to be a golden eye."

Upon hearing this, Shane Rhodes nodded. "That is indeed an important clue."

All the players knew that SoySauceDrunkard was in the same game as them. But knowing she was there and actually finding her were two different things entirely.

What’s more, no one had ever seen what SoySauceDrunkard actually looked like.

Even if she were standing right in front of you, you probably wouldn’t recognize her.

Perhaps Shane Rhodes’s words had an effect, as the rest of the rescue operation went much more smoothly.

Inside the Glacial Directorate, Moira Lynch was happily busy collecting snow and Ice Cool Grass while taking photos, when a system prompt sounded in her ears.

[The game will end in ten minutes. After ten minutes, players who have not completed the final main quest will automatically be disqualified from the game.]

Hearing the system’s voice, Moira Lynch nodded with a hint of regret. ’Only ten minutes left.’ She took a deep breath and quickened her pace.

「Ten minutes later.」

[Time is up. Congratulations to all players who have successfully completed the mission. You will be teleported away shortly. Players who did not complete the mission will be teleported away in ten minutes and will be disqualified from the game. Good luck.]

Moira Lynch felt everything go black. When she opened her eyes again, she was back in her room. A wave of heat immediately washed over her, making her feel like she was in a steam pot.

Seeing this, she quickly took out a Water-cooling Stone.

After eating so many Ice Chestnuts and receiving the Snow Sprite’s blessing, Moira Lynch was no longer afraid of getting frostbite from the Water-cooling Stone.

After taking off her clothes and putting them away, Moira Lynch went to the bathroom. Looking at her snow-white reflection in the mirror, she thought for a moment before putting away the Water-cooling Stone and replacing it with a Chimefin scale.

Without the Water-cooling Stone generating cold air, Moira Lynch visibly returned to her normal appearance.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she seemed quite a bit paler than before.

After showering and changing into clean clothes, Moira Lynch finally took out her phone to check the time. The game had actually taken an hour.

Unconvinced, she checked the time again and confirmed it was indeed an hour. ’This game didn’t feel like it took that long at all. What’s the logic behind the game time, anyway?’

When she went downstairs, Shane Rhodes, Kai York, and Hugh Finch had already been waiting for a long time.

When they saw Moira Lynch coming down from the second floor, a flash of surprise crossed all three of their faces.

"Looks like you had a pretty big haul in the game this time."

Kai York looked Moira Lynch up and down, exclaiming in surprise, "Moira, you’ve gotten taller!"

Moira Lynch hummed in agreement and then found a place to sit down.

Compared to previous games, the resources in this one had been quite scarce. None of them had managed to collect anything particularly good.

Moira Lynch had some, but she didn’t want to take them out.

"Good news is, we probably won’t be short on ice for a long time," Kai York said, slumping over the table.

They compared notes and found that their hauls were all more or less the same: snow, ice, fish, Snow Lilies, and Ice Cool Grass.

Besides those, they had also gotten a few items from completing side quests, but these were life-saving tools and obviously couldn’t be sold.

"Looks like we’ll have to skip trading this time," Shane Rhodes said.

"I suppose so."

They weren’t short on supplies to begin with; they only traded to get rid of surplus materials they couldn’t use. Not trading wouldn’t have a major impact on them anyway.

Moira Lynch took out some Ice Cool Grass and offered it to the others. "Try some. It tastes pretty good."

The three of them took the Ice Cool Grass, had a bite, and praised it. It really did taste good. In the current weather, things like popsicles had long become a luxury, except for those who had awakened an Ice Talent.
