[Ticket Shop]

[Ticket = 10 million credits]

Staring at the two different glowing golden windows that appeared directly before him, Terrence couldn’t help but feel a sudden wave of intense pressure.

’Gacha... does this mean it operates like a lottery? The higher the stake, the bigger the prize? And what do those metallic names even mean? Are they just tiers and arbitrary names for them? What a weird naming system.’

He let out a low sigh.

’Ticket shop... so this is where I can buy the stakes I need to use for the gacha shop.’

Making quick mental notes, he systematically made sense of each newly acquired component of the System. It was honestly surprising that his supplier authority had just jumped straight to 10%.

This clearly meant that acquiring an SS-Rank Beast triggered a massive, explosive jump in power and privilege.

’Good thing I still have millions of credits saved up. I can use them to test what this gacha shop actually gives out.’

Seeing that he still had roughly above 500 million credits stored, a wide smile slowly crept onto his face. This meant he could easily afford to buy 50 tickets in total.

However, these tickets were ridiculously expensive, which immediately gave him the strong impression that the items obtained from them were extremely valuable.

With each individual ticket costing 10 million credits, he knew he would eventually have to sell more beasts to sustain this.

’I should probably just buy ten tickets first to test the waters.’

Mentally maneuvering through the System interface, which surprisingly worked with just a simple thought, Terrence selected and purchased 10 tickets.

There were a few agonizing seconds of complete silence within the System before the glowing screen started blinking and flashing rapidly.

Terrence’s eyes widened in anxiety. An obvious wave of worry slowly faded from his eyes as what felt like a whole hour was actually just ten seconds passing.

The mental pressure of waiting was that heavy.

’Hell... I thought something glitchy was about to happen. Goodness.’

He quickly tapped his digital watch, watching the numbers on his personal fund balance rapidly decrease.

’Just where do all these spent credits actually go? That was way too expensive.’

With a heavy exhale, he refocused his attention entirely on the Gacha Shop window.

’Ten tickets spent, one bronze pull ready. I still have 400 million plus left that I can use to start building this Beast Shop for the major mission. Hell, I only have 60 days to pull that off. The consequences are heavy. And I still have to check that new daily mission too.’

Again, exhaling a deep breath, he mentally clicked on the bronze pull option.

’Give me something... please, give me something really good...’

Even though he didn’t have a clue what kind of physical items the Gacha would actually provide, he still couldn’t help but wish for a high-tier prize.

’If a simple bronze pull is already this expensive—where earning it back requires selling another full S-Rank beast—it must mean the item inside is insanely valuable.’

Waiting for what felt like a complete eternity, the Gacha Shop interface abruptly transformed, displaying three physical cards floating directly before him. These cards, featuring intricate brown designs on their sharp golden linings and dirty-white surfaces, rapidly interchanged positions with each other multiple times.

’What the hell... so this is how Gacha looks?’

The shuffling became blindingly fast, reduced to mere afterimages as the cards rolled repeatedly.

His breathing grew heavy, a nervous sweat breaking out on his forehead as he realized what he was doing. Was he actually gambling right now?

’Gacha really is just pure gambling...’

After waiting for an agonizing minute, the results of the bronze pull finally materialized before his eyes.

The single card sitting at the very center floated away from the fading interface, moving straight toward him before hovering in place with a gentle up-and-down animation.

It seemed to be patiently waiting for Terrence’s physical command.

He gave a slight nod of his head, mentally signaling his intent to see what the bronze pull had yielded.

[Merging Incubator (Bronze)]

[Description: You can use the merging incubator to merge two beasts of different ranks and species for a significantly greater chance of achieving a higher evolution or rank. The exact result cannot be predetermined, as the percentage of success depends heavily on the biological compatibility of the two species. If you choose to combine beasts of the exact same species, you will have a much higher chance of obtaining a brighter result. However, if the two species possess opposite elements, there will be a drastically slimmer chance of a successful outcome.]

’Seems to be easy enough to understand...’ He paused mid-thought, his eyes bulging. ’Wait, what the hell?! Does this mean I can merge beasts and actually aim to get a unique mutation, or even push my current beasts into higher ranks without having to feed them entirely with expensive beast cores?!’

Logically speaking, feeding beast cores was always the much safer route for forcing a mutation or evolution. But honestly, there was no fun or surprise in that method. It was predictable, slow, and far less likely to produce something that didn’t already exist in the world.

However, with this Merge Incubator, it meant he now held infinite possibilities right in his hands.

’Wow... just, wow... I desperately want to test this thing out right now...’

He shook his head firmly, forcing himself to calm down. There was no need to be overly hasty. He had time on his side. Moreover, the Gacha Shop had specifically explained that these acquired items could be directly utilized inside his future official shop.

’But, should I test using it even without having the physical shop built yet?’ His brows furrowed in deep thought. ’Wait... where did the incubator even go after I claimed it?’

Before he could search his surroundings, a crisp system prompt flashed directly across his vision.

’Holy shit!’
