Curling himself on the ground, Milan’s eyes glared up at Terrence with intense rage mixed with sheer agonizing pain.

’Just how is that bastard so damn strong?! Didn’t he just awaken his talent recently? He shouldn’t even be capable of taming a beast this strong!’

Shaking that absurd idea out of his mind, Milan bit his lower lip hard as he slowly forced himself to stand, planting his trembling feet firmly onto the polished marble floor.

’That’s completely impossible.’

Activating his Skill Share, the feral nature of his Feline Beast Tame rushed violently through his veins as his human eyes slitted, becoming more like those of a predatory beast.

His fingertips grew razor-sharp, a glowing light of spectral claws materializing around his hands as he once again lunged straight forward.

Terrence’s eyes widened in brief surprise; he was caught off guard by the sheer speed of the surprise attack. Fortunately, he reacted fast enough to catch Milan’s wrists mid-air, right as the sharp claws were about to thrust into his throat, leaving only a shallow slash across his shoulder.

A dark red stain slowly spread across the clean fabric of his newly bought dirty-white tunic.

Terrence’s breath became cold as his lips slowly felt numb from the impact. While his focused gaze remained locked onto Milan’s eyes, the other man already had a second follow-up plan in mind.

Despite his primary hand being caught mid-air, Milan’s other hand was still completely free. With how agile his feline traits made him, he twisted his captured arm, lowered his stance rapidly, and yanked Terrence forward by the trapped wrist.

Terrence was caught up in the sudden, fluid movement, pulled off balance directly toward Milan, who swung the glowing claws of his free hand straight for his chest.

"Shit!"

Cursing under his breath, Terrence knew he couldn’t dodge the incoming strike anymore.

The attack connected cleanly, and in Milan’s glinting eyes was the unmistakable look of a victor enjoying his kill.

Terrence twitched violently as his body absorbed the full impact, forcing himself to break away and disconnect from Milan’s trap. He staggered backward with minimal steps, his hands naturally covering the spot where the attack had landed.

However, as Milan tasted his short-lived victory, he suddenly noticed that the spectral light of his feline claws was now shattered and broken.

Raising his brows in total confusion, Milan looked back at Terrence once again.

"How on earth is that even possible?!"

Terrence stood there completely fine, with only his clothes ripped open from the force of the sharp claws.

"Did you... did you contract a high-tier defense-specialist beast?!" Milan demanded, his voice cracking.

However, Terrence didn’t reply to his frantic question. He simply stared down at his ripped tunic while reorganizing his tactical thoughts.

’What was up with that attack? I already activated Iron Skin, but he was still able to pass through the outer defense and damage me slightly... Was it because of the raw blunt force that I felt behind the strike?’

Taking note of the physical possibility, Terrence didn’t let another second pass without launching a counterattack of his own.

Terrence hadn’t inspected the Sky Dragon’s full abilities yet due to strict time constraints, and he had wanted to test it later with utmost focus, knowing it was an overwhelmingly powerful beast that his human body might not endure.

With Smash being the only available Skill he could currently use, Terrence seized this exact chance to practice the new ability he had acquired alongside the SS-Rank Sky Dragon.

Suddenly, a terrifying, semi-translucent giant reptile hand manifested directly above Milan, catching the man completely off guard as his feet instantly became impossibly heavy.

It was as if the localized gravity around Milan had suddenly multiplied by ten fold—so insanely heavy and strong that even his planted feet began crushing into the marble floor, creating small spiderweb craters around them.

The deep cracks widened rapidly as Milan was forced to crouch under the sheer, crushing pressure pinning him down.

A single second passed, and he was flattened completely against the floor, rendered utterly incapable of fighting back or moving a single muscle. His hands rested, spread wide on the shattered floor, while his entire body embraced the cold marble.

Slowly, his consciousness drifted away, and he completely passed out from the massive force.

Terrence’s eyes widened as he couldn’t find the right words to describe what he had just witnessed. This was his very first time prying into the Sky Dragon’s actual Skills, and his first time initiating a Skill Share with it.

Given what had happened previously with the Vampire Butler, he had assumed he wouldn’t be able to use Skill Share easily with a high-rank beast, but they had successfully connected, granting him immediate access to a small percentage of the beast’s total power.

Even though he had only unleashed around five percent of the Smash Skill’s true capability, it was still horrifyingly strong—easily pinning an enemy who was buffed by an A-Rank beast.

’Well, it makes sense for it to be this strong since it is an SS-Rank beast... a rank that shouldn’t even traditionally exist in this world.’

However, Terrence was mostly relieved to grasp that the initial Skill Share attempt had been an absolute success. Despite having only one skill available for now, the results were beyond promising.

’I didn’t summon the Sky Dragon immediately when I rushed back to Suran City. Moreover, I fully expected rejection just like what the Vampire Butler did, which was why I wasn’t being hasty about using Skill Share... But to actually tap into a portion of a real god-tier beast like this, how amazing!’

Different tactical scenarios played out rapidly inside his mind while he temporarily ignored the growing chaos surrounding the immediate scene before him.

By now, the establishment’s internal security guards had already been alerted by other terrified members. Seeing Terrence as a massive, real threat to the business, they began surrounding him, preparing to execute a composed and properly coordinated group attack.
