But he had drunk so much water that his stomach was full, and then he remembered he had just eaten a fingernail...

"BLEAGH—" Frank O’Malley suddenly threw up. He finally felt a bit better, but the person next to him was out of luck.

"You asshole, watch where you’re aiming! This is the only outfit I have!" the customer roared.

Lily Hart witnessed the whole thing, becoming more and more convinced that this Frank O’Malley was exactly the type of person she thought he was.

’The youngest in his clan, a little naive, a young man who’s never had to face the harsh realities of the world.’

’This type of person was usually easy to manipulate.’

Frank O’Malley waved his hands frantically. "I’m so sorry..." He leaned against the table, bent over, and puked his guts out.

’He even apologizes?’

This completely shattered Lily Hart’s stereotype of The Mysterious Clan.

"If sorry was enough, what would we need The Guardian Corps for?! Pay for my clothes, you asshole!" Seeing that he was a pushover, the customer pressed his advantage.

Frank O’Malley, feeling guilty, took out a red Crystal Core and gave it to him. The customer was overjoyed.

This was worth far more than his clothes. Later, he could even go to the factory out back and trade for several new outfits.

Lily Hart just watched Frank O’Malley vomit. Once he was finished, she said, "Want another fingernail? It’s even cheaper than the last one."

As soon as Frank O’Malley heard that, his mind couldn’t help but recall that unforgettable taste—a bit salty, a bit hard.

"BLEAGH—" He started puking again.

Lily Hart was speechless. ’How can he have such a weak stomach?’

’And he came here to get revenge for someone? Isn’t he afraid of getting himself killed first?’

After he finished puking for the second time, Lily Hart couldn’t be bothered to tease him anymore. She shooed him away, "Hurry up and go home, little brat. Don’t want your mommy and daddy to come looking for you."

Frank O’Malley’s eyes went wide. He hated it when people called him a little brat!

"You! You just wait! If I can’t handle you, I’ll get someone who can!" Frank O’Malley spun around and left.

He was so fast he vanished in the blink of an eye. Lily Hart couldn’t even track his movements.

He told Lily Hart to wait, but of course, she didn’t listen. His words went in one ear and out the other.

She enjoyed a nice lunch and recounted the incident to the others for a laugh.

Roman Rowe laughed so hard he ate an extra bowl of rice. "I’m serious, this Frank O’Malley guy is hilarious! He’s like a complete moron!"

Frost Shaw couldn’t help but chuckle.

Leo Colby offered a word of caution. "He may be naive, but his power is not to be underestimated. None of us would be a match for him. You need to be careful."

Lily Hart agreed.

To her surprise, Frank O’Malley actually returned that afternoon with a group of people, all looking for a fight.

He had learned his lesson and wasn’t standing at the very front this time, terrified that Lily Hart would flick another fingernail into his mouth.

He stood at the very back. The surrounding customers were like NPCs; the moment trouble started, they automatically scattered, cherishing their lives and terrified of getting caught in the crossfire.

Frank O’Malley commanded, "You guys! Go get her! Whoever cuts off her limbs and takes her life will be handsomely rewarded!"

He stood with his hands on his hips, a bulging burlap sack full of Crystal Cores at his side.

Lily Hart sighed, watching the men charge at her as if they had a death wish.

She simply activated the RV’s Protective Shield and its maximum defense protocols, and did nothing more.

The men couldn’t get anywhere near the RV; they were stopped dead in their tracks outside.

They unleashed all sorts of superpowers, but every attack was useless, completely absorbed by the Protective Shield.

They couldn’t lay a single finger on Lily Hart, let alone chop off her limbs.

Frank O’Malley rubbed his eyes. He didn’t dare to open them. ’I hope this is just a hallucination.’

’How is that woman still standing there perfectly fine? Shouldn’t she be screaming in agony and collapsed on the ground by now?’

Frank O’Malley refused to believe it. He strode forward, planted his right foot, and settled into an attack stance, his feet shoulder-width apart.

He clasped his hands in front of his chest. A massive fireball materialized behind him, but it quickly shrank a little.

It was hard to tell if he was concentrating its power or just deliberately making it smaller to test the waters.

Frank O’Malley could be heard muttering to himself, "Smaller, a little smaller... What if she dies? Then I’ll be sanctioned for sure."

As he spoke, a fireball about the size of two heads slowly rose into the air. Once it reached a certain height, it shot violently toward the RV.

Frank O’Malley’s heart leaped into his throat as he began to imagine the consequences. ’What if the fireball is too powerful and Lily Hart dies?’

’Will I be sanctioned? Will the clan elders be able to protect me?’

’But I heard even the Fifth Elder was sanctioned. He has to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.’

Frank O’Malley panicked. He knew exactly how powerful he was.

’If Lily Hart dies... what am I going to do? I don’t want to be sanctioned!’

He stretched out a hand, trying to recall the fireball, but it was too late. It was less than half a meter from the RV.

Frank O’Malley covered his head in terror, as if he could already see the tragic fate that awaited him for the rest of his life.

But the massive explosion and burst of flame he imagined never came. Instead, there was only silence.

After a long moment, a distinct burp echoed.

Frank O’Malley cautiously moved one of the fingers covering his eyes, peeking through a tiny crack.

His gaze met Lily Hart’s, who was looking at him with a resigned, wry smile. He immediately dropped his hands and straightened up.

He exclaimed in delight, "Lily Hart is okay! She’s okay! I’m not going to be sanctioned!"

But then it hit him. "Wait a minute. Why is Lily Hart okay? How is she so powerful that she can even block my attack?"

’If Lily Hart can block even my attack, then the attacks from those other superpower users must be nothing more than child’s play to her.’

Frank O’Malley couldn’t understand. ’When did humans get this powerful?’

’He’d only been out of the loop for a few years!’

Frank O’Malley walked up to the front of the RV and waved at Lily Hart. She couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge him.

He didn’t seem to mind and asked directly, "Why are you so powerful? You took my attack without a scratch."

Lily Hart replied, exasperated, "And you think your attack is all that?"

The system in her mind let out a distinct, "Tsk."

It was clearly a sound of contempt for the man before them. Lily Hart understood perfectly.

Frank O’Malley was at a loss for words again. ’Is my attack all that? Of course it is! Otherwise, why would we be called The Mysterious Clan?!’

’How else could we live up to the name?’

Lily Hart continued her taunts. "The Mysterious Clan? You’re nothing special, I guess~"

Frank O’Malley might be naive, but he wasn’t an idiot. He could hear the heavy sarcasm in her voice.

But he had no way to argue back. It seemed to be true—in her eyes, The Mysterious Clan was nothing special.

Still, Frank O’Malley refused to admit defeat. He blurted out the incredibly lame threat, "You just wait! I’m gonna go get my brother!"

’How childish.’

After her internal jab, Lily Hart manipulated a small pebble outside the RV, moving it right under Frank O’Malley’s foot.

"AHH—" Frank O’Malley took a nasty fall, feeling like his tailbone had split in two.

He was furious. He felt like he’d been completely humiliated in front of Lily Hart. He angrily kicked the stone far away.

"Where did this stupid rock come from!" After kicking it away, Frank O’Malley continued on his way, and the crowd he’d brought with him naturally started to follow.

But who would have thought an accident would happen? The last person in the line tripped and stumbled, falling right into the person in front of them.

The scene was like a set of dominoes as, one by one, they all toppled forward.

Frank O’Malley was just turning his head to see what was happening when he was knocked over. The entire group ended up in a chaotic pile on top of each other.
