Dapao looked at the buildings the person pointed to, nodded in satisfaction, patted his shoulder and said, "That’s right, I like people who listen."

He poured some water from the car into an iron basin, placed it at the man’s mouth, and the man’s cracked lips immediately moved closer, gulping down the water eagerly. The other scammers next to him, seeing him drink, also looked at Dapao with deep desire.

However, Dapao ignored their requests.

These people had not drunk water for two days, and they were extremely thirsty.

"You didn’t answer the question promptly, no rewards for you." Dapao chuckled, then escorted them back to the armored transport vehicle and tied them up with ropes, assigning people to guard them inside the vehicle.

Dapao walked next to Li Yu and relayed what the person had said earlier. Li Yu nodded and said, "Alright, that works. Take some people over to have a look, be careful there might be Zombies inside."

"Yeah, I know," Dapao replied.

Thus, he led a few people towards the place where resources were stored.

The building was relatively intact; although the surface was hit by Bomb fragments, the main structure remained unscathed.

Dapao looked at the empty hall, adjusted his mask down, and formed a five-person team with his teammates.

They turned on their headlamps, illuminating the hall.

The hall was covered in dust, and as they walked through, they left a trail of footprints.

"Clear."

"Clear."

They checked the rooms one by one; the front part of the first-floor hall had three rooms, and behind them there was something like an iron mesh, which led to a view of stored goods inside.

The iron mesh had an empty walkway in the middle, wide enough for three people to walk side by side.

Though not as bright as outside, sunlight through the door provided some illumination in the hall.

Dapao moved through the gap in the middle of the iron mesh.

There was an open door at the back, everything inside was pitch-black, nothing visible.

Dapao cautiously approached, trying to minimize footstep noises, and gestured to the group behind to stop as he reached the door.

He leaned towards the door, slowly checking the situation inside.

The first sight was a row of shelves filled with various resources.

But the second sight made Dapao’s hair stand on end.

The rear half of the first floor had only one entrance, spanning over 500 square meters, teeming with Zombies beside the shelves.

Swiftly, Dapao covered the flashlight and pressed himself against the wall.

Zombies, it’s full of Zombies inside!

The 500-square-meter space was packed with Zombies.

The space storing resources had sealed doors and windows, so it was quite dark.

It seemed the Zombies were drawn here using the Zombie Attraction Potion and left behind.

They could certainly deal with these Zombies, but it would take some time, and whether to deal with them now was uncertain.

Seeing the Zombies, Dapao thought about the vast amount of resources — transporting them back to the Big Camphor Tree Base would require many vehicles and much manpower.

However, they currently didn’t have enough manpower to transport, so why not lock these Zombies in here, wait until their people arrived, and then move everything together?

If others came to scavenge, unaware of the Zombies inside, they’d suffer losses, possibly even die here.

With that thought, Dapao gestured to the nearby group to retreat.

Dapao led them outside, immediately seeking Li Yu.

"Brother Yu, I just saw a large number of Zombies in that resource storage room; we didn’t disturb them.

I estimate there are likely many leftover Zombies in relatively intact buildings too; to move these resources, we’d probably need a lot of manpower.

You mentioned getting the base’s people to help earlier, so I thought after resolving the scammers from Myanmar and Yue Country.

We can have the Big Camphor Tree Base support group come together to deal with these Zombies, and then move the resources.

Otherwise, even if we handle the Zombies, moving and storing the items would be problematic; better to seal the place and let the Zombies guard the resources for us.

What do you think?"

Li Yu’s eyes brightened after hearing Dapao’s proposal.

On the way here today, he was troubled about this matter.

After all, if they had Third Uncle gather the Extra Staff from the base, without combat personnel protection, the long journey back posed risks.

Plus, the base’s combat personnel couldn’t be dispatched again — they already sent out a team of over a hundred people this time.

Furthermore, Li Yu and the others needed to head to Yue Country and Myanmar to eliminate those scammers.

In this light, Dapao’s suggestion wasn’t unreasonable.

Once they resolved the scammers from Myanmar and Yue Country, then they could bring the Extra Staff, remove the Zombies together, and transport the resources back — protected by Li Yu’s group, preventing problems on the journey.

Thinking this through, Li Yu nodded and said, "Not bad, this idea is very good. Let’s go with it, and also drain fuel from all vehicles found here, find their fuel storage depot, and take it with us."
