Apostle of the Gods

68 Trial Dungeons Part 2

Once inside the dungeon from the entrance, a narrow passage followed behind.

When we all go inside, the dungeon door closes.

Then it gets so dark that I can't even see my palm. Not even a little light.

"You use magic lights."

Teena puts a magic light on her wand to make the wand shine bright.

"Thanks, Teena! I think I'll use a pine light, too."

"I don't think you have to wear it now. You should just make sure you can light it right away."

"Will, thanks for the advice!

Then Alty says.

"Can you also ask my sword for a magic light?

I'll take Alti's sword.

"Thank you"

Alty pulled out his sword smoothly. I put a magic light on that body.

"For when something happens, there should be two lights."

"I see, you'll learn."

Rosetta was nodding with a serious look. More than anything else, it seems highly motivated to learn.

So I'll finally teach you bean knowledge.

"And it's a good way to light yourself up like an alty."

"Really?

Teena with a magic light on her cane sees this one.

"When you want to turn off the lights, you just have to put your sword in the sheath."

"... I see"

"I wish I could put a black cloth on my cane, but it's more troublesome than paying it to the sheath."

"You'll learn"

Then we proceeded carefully inside the dungeon.

From the beginning, Rosetta, Artie and Teena followed by a line named me at the rear.

A little further, the aisle widens.

I just walked further and Rosetta stopped.

"Everybody stop."

"Is that a trap?

"Yeah. Pitfalls"

Rosetta showed it through the pit brilliantly even though it was dim.

"It looks like the right edge allows us to go through... Wait a minute."

"Okay."

Alty comes forward and illuminates his surroundings with a magically lit sword.

"Trying to get through the right side seems to have some traps to activate. I'll try to disarm it."

It's a trap that targets where you saw through the pit and were caught off guard.

Perhaps this is Regina's destiny.

"Yeah, I could disarm it. Follow me."

Rosetta seems to be a pretty dependable scout.

Unalarmed and proceeding with caution.

I didn't leave it up to people because it was a Rosetta trial either, and I walked away with caution and without alarm.

It's my biggest job to be alert to rear raids.

Together, it's important to prepare Rosetta for a failed trap expedition.

Rosetta discovers the trap and goes well as she disarms it.

Apparently, the difficulty of Regina's trap is not high in itself.

But there were many traps of the same kind that cautioned me, like the first trap.

Conversely, it can be cleared without even being alarmed.

Regina's thoughts come from the dungeon.

Regina was making a dungeon on the assumption that Rosetta would be her apprentice.

On top of that, I'm using this dungeon as a teaching material to try to educate young people.

Even though Regina hasn't told me anything in particular, I should draw Regina's attention, too.

As far as possible, Rosetta and Teena should be entrusted with the dungeon offense.

We just went about half an hour through the dungeon and we take a break.

"That's a long dungeon!

Says Rosetta as she drinks water.

The most tiring person on this scene is Rosetta, who was in charge of trap exploration and disarming.

"Right. I've already walked quite a bit. I'm surprised there are so many ruins underground."

Teena also drinks water.

It must have taken a long time for the Dragon Nation to make it.

Maybe it's based on the ruins of the Dragon tribe that the Dragon tribe reveres as their ancestors.

"Rosetta. Teena. At the first break, you should also inspect your equipment."

Alty advises me as a senior.

"Right. Thanks!"

"I get it!

Both Rosetta and Teena honestly start inspecting their gear.

"Weapons and scouting tools are also important, but the most important thing is to inspect the protective equipment"

"Really? I haven't encountered any enemies, and I haven't used any protective equipment yet..."

Rosetta says as she examines her protective equipment.

"Yes. I can deviate a lot from walking. Pay particular attention to the condition of your shoes"

"Okay!

Teena and Rosetta were seriously sure of the condition of their shoes and protective equipment.

Not yet, they all look fine.

Rest for about five minutes and resume exploration.

"Nevertheless, you don't encounter enemies."

"Um, Regina may have knocked it all out."

"Perhaps so! I'd rather not run into enemies!

Looks like we can even afford to talk about that and laugh.

Then we went further enough into the dungeon.

All ten traps that Rosetta has disarmed so far since entering the dungeon.

So far, even all the traps. I expected the demon to come out.

"Wow. You're out in such a big place! I can't see the wall."

"It's amazing how dragon tribes make such a big place in the basement."

Rosetta and Teena seem impressed.

Teena illuminates her surroundings with magic lights on her wand, but the lights do not reach the walls or the ceiling.

That's when Rosetta screams.

"Guys, look out, there's something here!

Looks like we finally ran into an enemy.
