Once the soil-painted drill has accumulated, you can put the item in BOX, take it to the surface, and use a high pressure washer.

Digging about 4 meters with difficulty hit a layer of sand. Pulling up the drill makes the sand wet.

Maybe we'll get some water out of this.

Digging through layers of sand is easy. The blade gradually progressed and hit the clay layer again about 1m later.

This corresponds exactly to the formation in which the water that was written in the well book comes out.

I don't know if this will cause water to come out. If you don't scratch the sand and create a space inside the formation, it will become more and more buried in the sand.

You can't scratch out sand with a drill. Soon it will overflow downstairs.

You have to think of and make tools to get the sand out.

To create a mechanism for pumping sand from the well, a PVC tube was purchased at Shangri-La - it was modified to produce an iron plate valve at the tip.

As the tip of the beveled PVC pipe is pushed into the hole, the sand gradually enters the interior. When pulling it up, the tip valve closes, so that sand accumulated inside the pipe can be pulled out of the hole.

Water also enters the tube at the same time, so we decided to drill a lot of water drain holes with a 6 mm drill.

However, battery-operated electric drivers like the ones I bought before are completely powerless. I bought a genuine 18V rechargeable electric driver.

Insertion type attachment is used to connect the PVC pipe, but because it is literally inserted, it will not come out as it is.

However, when the adhesive is used, it cannot be disassembled.

Therefore, a hole was drilled with an electric drill in the attachment portion, and the coupling portion was reinforced by inserting a bolt.

And when the sand removal work started, various problems arose.

The 5 m PVC tube weighs quite a bit with wet sand in it. It's pretty hard to get in and out. So I decided to use a power shovel.

Simply brace the wire on the bucket and pull up the PVC tube with the handle on the rear end.

And when you push it back into the well, it's easy to push it with a power shovel bucket.

However, heavy machinery cannot be subtly manipulated. There was a video on TV of a master of heavy equipment handling carrying eggs, but amateurs couldn't do that.

If you do not do it carefully, it will be damaged, so you need to be careful.

If the pipe breaks in the soil, it's going to be hard to get it out. It may become impossible to take it out.

That's why I did it, I want to avoid it.

Pull up the long PVC tube with the power shovel and the water accumulated in it drips off. Lean the tube over the surface and use a high-pressure washer to blow the sand inside.

The water overflowed the well that had been dug, and the hole quickly flooded. Buy boots under your knees for 4,500 yen to prepare for the water.

The inside of the hole is already muddy (wet) and chaotic, and it is difficult to work as it is.

So I bought a compartment and laid it around the well to make a scaffold. I can handle this. When you're done, you can fill it up.

I started working before noon - about 15 times, I pulled up the sand and the sand stopped entering the PVC tube.

Leave PVC tubing inserted into the well and frame to prevent holes from collapsing. Ordinary wells use masonry, but they replace it with PVC tubes.

Use a power shovel to fill the hole while extending the PVC tubing that jumps out of the well tip. This heavy machine is also equipped with an earth drainage plate, so it can be used to even out the soil.

After some trouble, the well was somehow completed.

The surface of the earth bears traces of catapults, so it's a bit of a mess... but I'll clean it up later.

But when it comes to wells, they're quite different from ordinary wells in this world. It's just the tip of the PVC pipe on the surface.

Insert a thin PVC tube connected to this tube and assemble the water with an electric pump, but will it work?

Once completed and the pump is running, water is poured from the PVC tube into the drum.

There is no pressure like the original world water supply, so there is no momentum, but even if you keep quiet, the water accumulates.

It is great to be able to do other work in the meantime. Put the water level sensor on it so that the buzzer sounds.

For more automation, drive the relay with the buzzer power so that the pump turns off.
