Arcadia’s Labyrinth

Chapter III Prologue

- The situation, it was hopeless.

I was stuck in a trap, separated from my buddies, locked in a small, one-man stone room.

The enemy has never been more powerful, and by contrast, I have lost even my gear and have been isolated in this room with a thin piece of clothing, without being able to enhance myself.

Is the room about the size of a tatami tatami? The height is to the point of reaching out but not having a critical hand, making it compressive overall.

Dim and gloomy spaces...... In the room there is somewhat of an apologetic sleeping area and a pot of toilet replacement, and there is not even one spoon that seems to be available for escape.

One side is an iron lattice, and the look inside from the outside is unpretentious and has no privacy.

I had the nature of not sleeping well without closing the door of the room and confined space when I slept, so this was all I had left to come mentally.

The total number of bricks is 2892. I've counted it 52 times so far, so I'm pretty sure.

I spent more than a week in a room that only counted the number of bricks.

The only salvation is that the rice is brought exactly and about the occasional arrival of a dove rat from an empty hole in the corner of the room?

I named this rat Gedron and asked him to pay for the rice crumbs. [M]

By the way, Gedron is the name of the shitty official that inspired me to be here.

Guess it's time to guess, but yes, this isn't in the dungeon.

in a prison in the corner of a labyrinth city.

The name of the enemy is State power. In a way, the worst enemies, more troublesome than demons.

By now, the two Eliselerianas will be on the run to help me, but this time the enemy had too bad a minute.

There's only one thing I can do anymore. [M]

Only the presence of His Highness Chris.

Only her whim and mercy will be the key to breaking this situation.

Returning to death is pointless.

Now that you have some understanding of how Continuum works, you are likely to find yourself in this situation no matter how many times you try again.

And the more we start over, the worse things will get.

I mean, stuffing.

I can no longer do anything on my own.

Oh, and how did this happen?

When I slept apathetically on the bunk, I began to remember carefully how I had been in my spare time.

- That goes back to the day I was able to reunite with the two of you.

I was now in a room in Elise's Inn, facing a girl.

I was in my early teens...... about my senior year in elementary school. Beautiful girl with sheep-like horns and brown skin with dazzling blonde hair stretched to her back.

Its unspeakable face was horribly neat as a child, and I could have expected to be a tremendous beauty as an adult.

And I actually knew exactly how she would have grown up. [M]

Her name is Leriana. He is one of the heroines in the Arcadia of the Labyrinth, … a crack in someone more important than my life.

Earlier, by chance, I brought her back to the Inn, where she was able to reunite throughout the city.

By the way, Elise is still downstairs helping out with the inn. Seeing Leriana getting smaller, Elise had her eyes round too, so she would need to explain the situation again later.

To do so, there are a few things I have to check with Leriana to get there.

I asked her to sit back in bed and shake her legs innocently.

"So, why did Leriana get so tiny?

To my inquiry, Leriana tilted her little neck with her index finger on her chin.

"Well, compared to the previous Atashi, it looks like the order in which you hang youthful oddities has changed."

"The order is back and forth?

"Yeah. The previous me Atashi was also affected by the last one in the settlement, but this time it took quite the first one. You mean? Well, like that."

"Phew, mmm..."

I frowned faintly at Leriana's words. [M]

This is, hey, no, pretty bad......

Every time I try again, the world tends to upgrade a bit...... it turns out in Ver.2.0 that it changes, but I didn't know that would even get involved in so-called “heroine” settings like Elise and Leriana......

So far, there have been changes in the event foreclosures and worldview due to Oriole's early revival and past alterations, but there have been no changes to the main character settings.

Therefore, I didn't think there would be any changes to the character settings themselves in the upgrade, but... well, can the character settings change as well?

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I felt the sweat gushing out of my whole body.

There are also changes to character settings, which means that at worst there is a chance that "the character itself will disappear”.

This time, Leriana underwent a change in the probable order of the disease.

And in the last upgrade, it happened that Oriole continued to survive from the past.

- Isn't it possible, then, that the existence of Oriole will cause Elise and Leriana's ancestors to die and they will no longer be born?

I did a redo to make sure they didn't die this time.

But I didn't know we could have lost them forever as a result...

Even now, my liver feels cold.

I didn't mean to make it easy to start over. I'm going to seal this and have to live.

I was quietly prepared. [M]

"By the way, Leriana. Is there anything different about this one than the last one? I don't care about any little thing."

"Something different? Oh, well. Isn't Kane taking over his memories in a different way from the Atasis? I was upset that Oriole existed before..."

Leriana quipped for a moment at my inquiry, but nodded as soon as she was convinced.

Yeah, me and their way of continuing is a little different.

While my memory streak continues, Elise and Leriana take the form of "adding memories of their last time to the memories that originally lived in this world”.

As a result, I didn't notice a change in the new version, and the last time I went around, I went behind my back.

If I had noticed that Oriole's settings had changed dramatically the last time, I might have had a slightly different ending.

In order to avoid those two dances, I also needed to keep my ass together with Leriana here.

But in response to my question, Leriana was wearing her arms like she was confused.

"No, um, even if they say it makes any difference..."

"Uh, no, if you can't think of a pah, I don't mind that."

It's also troublesome not to know the difference, but on the other hand, if there's no difference in history being as big and different as the Orioles, that's reassuring.

That's what I thought. I smiled at her to reassure her.

"No, rather there is too much and you don't know what to lift it from. You mean. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you mean the world

"Eh." Eh... "

I was stunned by Leriana's words. [M]

He said there's too much difference and he doesn't know which one to lift it from...... come on, seriously!

"For now, that's it. What Kane needs to know the most is the Adventurer Guild, after all. Maybe it's an example title boost? And this is where it's gonna get in the way."

"Me, Adventurer Guild?

Hey, what's that? That's the guild, isn't it? I don't know it well, but an organization where merchants and craftsmen consolidate within themselves to monopolize rights and such.

I had some kind of blackish image that I'd never want to get close to, huh? You got an adventurer version of that? Does that mean I can't move as freely as I've ever done, and I have to apprentice some senior adventurer as my brother in prison? Ugh, seriously, give me a break!

I mean, can we tolerate the way free temperament adventurers do a closed, exclusive and rugged guild?

The adventurers I know are more or less those who have escaped their parents and chairmen of the Chamber of Commerce because they do not fit the old closed guild's physique, or the third son of a farmer who has no connections to serve where he said so in the first place, who will be targeted for the rise of a one-shot reversal.

Its personality is new, enjoyable and boring. Tomorrow there's a breeze tomorrow, all those guys who feel like they don't have overnight money.

I don't think it fits the character of the guild I know.

... Oh, no, wait, wait, wait, wait. I accidentally associate merchant and craftsman guilds when I hear about guilds, but there is another pattern if you think about it intellectually in Japan.

Yes, an adventurer's guild in a lanobean sense.

Rank adventurers like S, A, E, and beginners let herb collect, and new American adventurers make receptionists fall in love, that's the example.

This is an extended way of doing things the traditional way, doing requests to adventurers who until then had been individually ordered by the master of the tavern or something.

This also goes with the temperament of an adventurer who likes to be admired or competed by others, even if he doesn't like to be tied up.

And yes. I remembered. Sure, I've heard stories about a large clan of Labyrinth Exploration Mutual Support Adventurers Association doing something similar.

The Labyrinth Exploration Mutual Support Adventurers Association is a clan that, for a major clan, is not unusual but more quantitative than qualitative, and was famous for soliciting to the clan even if it is a novice if it is considered promising.

I hear he was making extra money than a labyrinth attack by soliciting requests widely and letting his adventurers do it.

Similar but labyrinth publishing, this is a clan that was earning money by publishing news and information on adventurer relationships in the form of newspapers and booklets.

Interviews with popular arena players for information on recent topics of adventurers, useful information for labyrinth attacks, and exploration reports for unattacked labyrinths. It's one of the specialties of the Labyrinth City.

Sometimes travelers to the labyrinth city bought back numbers for souvenirs and brought them back, which was turned and read as one of the few entertainment in the village.

I've been looking forward to that, too, Couch.

I think there was a corner that said, "If you have any problems, please go to Labyrinth Publishing!"

If Labyrinth Publishing and the Labyrinth Exploration Mutual Support Adventurers Association join hands, can we make prototypes of Labyrinth guilds like Lanobe?

Besides, if the state or administration provides assistance….

"In the meantime, let's go to the guild, maybe that's the fastest"

To Leriana's words, I turned back to me in my thoughts. [M]

Yeah, to not look at the real thing first.

Please, be a Lanobe Adventurer Guild!

I took them downstairs, praying in my heart. [M]
